Chapter 29

"Actually, whatever i had to do, i have already done. I dont need you anymore now!" Simran said.

Simran words started to ring in Shaina's head. Now Shaina understood what Simran meant. She never thought that Simran would stoop so low.

"It's ok Riya, i know i haven't done anything even if everything is pointing against me!" Shaina said and went with the police officers.

Everyone watched helplessly how Shaina was taken away.

"Do something Arjun!" Riya said.

"Dont worry, everything will be ok!" Arjun reassured her, took out his mobile and phoned the commissioner. After a few minutes, he told everyone, "The case has been shifted to the ETF now, it's the best i can do, now we all have to prove that she's innocent!"

"I'll rush to the police station to bring her back to the ETF interrogation room," Riya said.

"No, you go and start working on that case at the office. I want all information available on this Yashveer! I'll go to take her from the police station," Arjun said.

"I'll come with you," Rathore told Arjun.

"Nope, you have an appointment with the doctor, first go and see him, then come to the office!" Arjun said and went away.

Riya and Rathore went together, Riya dropped him at the hospital and went to the office. On the road she had already called Shree and Chotu, asking them to be available.

After one hour, Arjun brought Shaina back with some police officers, but he was looking murderous. He left Shaina and went to his office. Riya gave Shaina a hug, and told her everything will be ok. Riya then rushed to see why Arjun was angry. She knocked and entered his office. She found Arjun sitting on his chair and looking at some pictures.

She went close to him and also took a look at those pictures. She was so shocked on seeing these pictures. She turned towards Arjun and said, "I'm sure there's some mistake or trick!"

"Trick! I dont find any trick! I dont believe we couldn't see Shaina's truth! God how could she stoop so low?" Arjun barked at her.

Riya was frightened for some seconds at Arjun's anger, "What do you mean?"

"I'm sure all these pictures are already telling the truth! And we all trusted her! but just look at her acts! Are every girl so characterless?" Arjun continued to said with anger. He hardly realised what he was saying, but when he had seen those pictures, he had felt so much anger at Shaina and then scared for Rathore.

"Arjun, yeh kya keh rahe ho aap! She's not like that!" Riya persisted.

"Really! You are a woman! Of course you'll take her part!" Arjun said completely blinded with anger.

"She loves Rathore, she'll never betray him! I'm sure of this. In fact maybe she loves Rathore even more than i love you. Do you even realise how much she has suffered yet she waited for Rathore!" Riya said trying to make Arjun realise his mistake.

But Arjun was not in a mood to listen to anything, he just stared at Riya and said, "If despite her love, she didnt think twice before cheating my brother with her ex-boyfriend! Then maybe you aren't to be trusted at all either!"

Only after those words had left his mouth, and when he saw how Riya's face whitened with those insults, did he realise what he had just uttered. In his anger, he hadn't even thought of his insulting words. But before he could say even one more word, Riya spoke, with tears in her eyes, "Love starts with trust! But it seems you dont trust me at all! But for the time being Shaina's more important than these issues! Arjun Sir, have you tried to look well at those pictures? Don't you find it strange at all these pictures? Maybe if you could forget your anger, and look well at those pictures, you could see the truth!" and went away leaving him angrily.

All his anger eroded at having hurt Riya. Arjun took a deep breath and had a look, in a more detached and professional way, at those pictures. And finally he could see what Riya meant. In all pictures, Shaina had closed eyes or looked completely dizzy, she wasn't even holding or touching Yashveer. And the way those pictures were taken, it looked like some third person had taken it.

"Shit, how could i let my emotions for my brother blind me!" he said and hit on his table. He went out and thought it was high time Shaina opened up her mouth and told everyone the truth. He was just going to enter the room where Shaina was being kept when he saw Rathore enter there merely a few seconds before him. He watched Rathore from the door itself.

Rathore had visited the doctor, and now he was impatient to see Shaina again. He didnt know why, but he felt scared if something happened to her. He entered the room where Shaina was kept and looked in her eyes for some minutes without saying anything.

After a very long time he said, "I dont think you killed him!"

Both Shaina and Arjun were shocked on hearing Rathore say that.

"And why do you think so?" Shaina asked, though she was happy for once Rathore had trusted her without her giving any justification.

"I just know it!" Rathore said.

"Till now you have always insulted me, if an ant crossed your road, you fought with me. If something was broken you fought with me. When i smiled, you were angry with me! Everything i did till now made you only angry! You didnt even lose one minute to fight and insult me till now! And now all of a sudden, you trust me!" Shaina said completely stunned.

Rathore turned red at all her accusations, he knew that he had been very unfair towards her, but his heart and brain told him that she was innocent.

After a very long time, Shaina saw the Rathore she had fallen in love with. She couldn't stop herself from getting up and running to take shelter from this cruel world in his arms. She hugged him strongly, and after a slight hesitation she felt Rathore arms encircling her body. She didnt mind if she was sent to jail now, as long as Rathore believed in her. She didnt realised that she had said it loudly for everyone to hear this.

"Nothing will happen to you! We'll do our best to save you and bring forth the real murderer!" Arjun said while entering the room.

Shaina broke the hug, and looked at Arjun. She knew that Arjun was angry at her, when he had seen those pictures, she had even felt his accusing eyes on her, while he had brought her here. But the Arjun looking at her now, was completely different. His eyes told her, that he believed her too. She had tears in her eyes, without even saying anything in her defense, they all trusted her.

Precap:

"What happened those two days! And i want every single thing out, even things which for you might be worthless! We can't ignore any clues!" Arjun said to Shaina.

Everyone was present for Shaina's interrogation. Riya looked at her with encouraging eyes, but Riya was also ignoring Arjun.
