First of all...HELLO everyone! New to this forum and have procrastinating to join ever since SC started but last night when I went thru some of the topics raised here...I was amazed by the members and audience here! You guys rock!! And after going thru a few threads, I absolutely had to join the fun. Its great to find such like-minded people who have such a wonderful way of gauging performance and express the intensity of emotions of SaMud so eloquently. So hats off to you guys and my very 1st topic on SC forum is dedicated to you all. 🤗

Coming to the topic, I had an SC fever last night after reading some of the comments here and caught up with all episodes. There's so many things I wanted to write like how different the show is in terms of starting with the wedding on the very 1st episode (without unnecessary delay and reflecting the true essence of the novel) or SLB has justified his work thru the grandeur of the sets and how he portrayed the backdrop or how the 2 protagonists connected with us instantaneously...OH so much to write. But what I could finally settle down with is that one repeated thing that kept coming back and forth on each episode and that is His Eyes and how her heart melts each time she sees them. She defied all that she was made of just because of those eyes. Her dream, her sketch and then how she couldn't reject the proposal (although didn't accept it either), on the vdo conference even its his eyes that shook her despite of going thru the pain of rejection by him. Did she actually look away and turn her back on him because really didn't want him to see her? uhm..I think she just couldn't handle those eyes 😳 And then when he finally arrives and she sees him from afar, again its those eyes. Hats off to Jen, those expressions were mind boggling! It just leaves you wondering what she is going thru..the inner turmoil of being attracted to those eyes and the very same being the cause of pain and humiliation of herself and her family. How else do you portray the unique mixture of those emotions without any words but with sheer facial expressions. Kudos Jen...👏

Well that's all I could catch up with! Would love to have your thoughts and I know what I have seen so far...you guys would have felt the same. So share your feeling and allow me to let you know you all. We have a long way to go together on SC (fingers crossed) 😉
