Case of the Double Identity

There is a man who gets into an accident. The crowd pulls him out and takes him to the hospital. CID Team arrives and wonder who the man is. Muskaan gets the man's suitcase and finds that there is a gun inside. She also pulls the man's other suitcase and finds that it has 1 crore inside it. ACP Pradyuman wonders why he has it - perhaps he might have been a hit man. They check his cell phone and find a message. The message reads: KILL TONIGHT AT 12. Prad wonders whether he was supposed to kill someone at 12 or was he going to be killed at 12.

A lady named Rajini Vardhan comes into the hospital and informs Pradyuman that someone informed her that her husband Vishal Vardhan has met in an accident and hence has come to meet him. Pradyuman asks her if she is sure that if he is her husband. She says yes. Muskaan asks her whether these things (the gun etc) belongs to Vishal. She says no. She even says that he didn't wear that shirt, but is sure that the man is her Vishal. Pradyuman wonders how this is true since the man's fianc has come as well. Fianc, named Chanda says that the man is her Ragu.

CID Team splits up: one goes to Vishal's house and the other to Ragu's house. The two teams find out that the ladies were telling the truth (from the photos in the houses).

They find out that Rajini is killed. ACP Pradyuman says that they should have known that she would be next. Maybe that 12 o'clock meant that Rajini Vardhan was going to die.

The team goes over to the hospital and find that Ragu/Vishal Vardhan is conscious and call him Ragu. Instead, the man says that his name is Vishal Vardhan and not Ragu. He asks them where his wife is. Muskaan tries to tell the truth, but Abhijeet says that she still doesn't know that he is in the hospital.

Daya, Vivek and Muskaan find a locked door at Ragu's house and break it apart. They find some sticky notes on his desk, which said:

8 AM - Gets up (V.V)

10 AM - Meeting (V.V)

12 PM - Kill at 12 (V.V)

Muskaan says that V.V. might mean Vishaal Vardhan and that Ragu might have planned to kill him.

They inform this to ACP Pradyuman. Pradyuman asks Chanda about Ragu's work, etc. Chanda replies that he was a mechanic, worked night-shifts and always went to work, except for 3 days in 1.5 years. She says that in the 3 days, he was in his room. ACP Pradyuman wonders why and asks her if he has any relatives or had any friends. Chanda says that he always meant Chooto.

They go to a bar and find Chooto. Chooto says that he doesn't know what Ragu did as a profession (side job), but he always met.

Team goes to Vishal's house and find Vishal's airplane ticket, dated for Sept 13,14,15 (3 days). BAM! ACP Pradyuman says that Vishal was playing a double role. The 3 days for business trip meant taking off 3 days from work.

Vishal is crying that his wife is dead. He has been discharged from the hospital and blames the watchman. Just then, a goonda (Abhijeet disguised) comes in with a gun and asks him for money. Goonda tells him that he did his job (killing Rajini) and now he wants the money. Vishal at first, refutes this claim, but after much probing from Goonda, he relents and tells him that he will give him 5 lakhs. Just then the CID Team comes in and arrests him.
