Yup that's definitely what it indicates.

even if the new montage symbolizes misunderstanding den also...it will be always asya (as der was no tanveer in the montage)

Or the new montage could also mean that Zoya at least remembers a bit of what they did when they were high and Asad doesn't really want to revisit the occasion he completely lost it with Ms Farooqui. Just saying. Then again maybe it's just me. And i'm a closet optimist😆
