Inder, Kutumb, Munna, and Sunaina are thrilled that Indira will go back to Lahore with Kabir. They will run their house with Zara's money that Meher will very happily part with because she loves the attention that Inder bestows on her. Does any of us want to get into Inder's state of mind? As long as Indira was believed to be dead, he was her righteous father who was pining for her. Now that she is back, he wants Meher along with Zara's money. But I am glad they included this scene. This was the good old familiar HD.
Rishi wants to go upstairs and tell Kabir the whole truth, but just then he sees Husna descending. She is wearing the clothes that Saheb lovingly brought for her. And she is looking stunning. He cannot take his eyes off her. He sees her smiling and is basically so lost in her that he does not know she is smiling at Saheb. Saheb, in front of the entire host family, compliments Husna again and again on her beauty. And for good measure, he gently chides Rishi for staring at his begum and does some "meri Husna - teri Husna" talk again. And, in front of the entire family, he wants to touch her and publicly display his affection. Kabir, Kabir...there is a time and place for everything! Had Rishi not broken the pickle jar at Vanraj's signaling, God alone knows what nazaara we would have got to see.
But seeing a paraya mard touch his Shrimatiji, Rishi flashes back to a moment before his marriage with Indira. This flashback moment should have been done a bit more carefully. I do not recall a time when Indira was so possessive about Rishi. And plus, she laughed. Blooper there. Big one.
Oh Meher and company want to celebrate the reunion of Husna and Kabir. In the last 12 hours, they became like family to Meher and so she brings into someone else's house, a bunch of eunuchs to sing and dance on the occasion. The eunuchs assume that Rishi and Indira/Husna are the jodi that they have been invited to bless and so put them together and wish them a world full of joy.
In tomorrow's epi, Husna will cook. Sunaina thinks that she does not know to cook. I don't know why she was surprised because I remember quite a few episodes in which Indira is shown cooking. Anyway, Husna was on her way to the kitchen and Rishi is trying to get her to think how she knows the way to the kitchen. (Aside: I am so missing this particular tribute to the 80s when someone would wake up from a five-second fainting episode and ask "main kahan hoon"?? Here, Husna is quite at home in SN and among its nivasis). I am just waiting to see how this turns into a tug of war where the currently bromancing Kabir and Rishi turn into rivals. Had two women been fighting, I think the Kekta title "Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli" would have been apt.
