Part 1
Roshini...The lady he loved purely. There was nothing more important than her in his life. Everyone thought that and of course it was the truth. There was another side to it though, there was another person he gave importance to by the same token and that person was dear to his heart, but that was years ago... it was before she left him to suffer in pain alone. No they weren't in love... they were just inseparable best friends. Her, Arjun and Sameer... this triad was the heartbeat of their school, home and town. Now he despised her, he reviled the fact that she was part of his life.
Arjun looked down and looked at the picture with hateful eyes. Standing outside the research room, Rathore observed him. Rathore knew Arjun missed her, he knew Arjun missed their friendship and he was well aware that Arjun will never admit that.
"Where are you?" Rathore whispered as he touched the simple black wrap bracelet around his wrist.
While Arjun inside was sweltering with anger because today twelve years ago his best friend left him. When he needed her the most she left without telling anything. She vanished from his life like she by no means ever existed. He closed the drawer with vigor and closed his eyes in agony. If whatsoever went wrong today, he knew he was going to lose it and take his anger out on someone.
As if today was a cursed day or what? Another thing that made him feel like Hitler today was the new addition to their squad. He took his phone and left for the conference room where the meeting was held and also the new member was coming in fifteen minutes.
Shree was again playing around with his hacking skills when he saw Arjun enter the room.
"Temprature kya hai?" Chotu asked.
Shree put his hand on his mouth and murmured
"Beta paratha dal dai uske moun par fully pak jaye ga"
"Shree" Ayesha said with warning eyes but there was also glee in her eyes.
"Yes mother." Shree rolled his eyes in amusement.
As Rathore came they discussed the new case and ten minutes more went by and there was no sign of whoever was coming.
"Who the hell even appointed this person?" Arjun said with fire in his voice.
"Nobody... she is a graduate from University of Denver... which is one of the top university for Criminal Psychology. She graduated with honor in criminal psychology and they say that she have the brain almost like Einstein. When she graduated every crime investigation team in US wanted her but she declined. She came to India few months ago and everyone offered her job here too and of course our department too and she chose this one." Shree said proudly... no he wasn't proud of her but proud of his information seeking skills... if only Arjun knew how he got this information... Shree would be dead but Arjun was tooo mad at this new girl.
"Name?" Rathore said.
"Senna Sawyer"
"God damn if that girl isn't here in ten minutes than she doesn't need to come." Arjun snarled.
"Arjun Sir to aaj uske chote chote chote tukre kar ke kha jayenge." Lisa mumbled with hilarity in her voice.
"Arjun Sir pure vegetarian hai... who tumhari tarah logo ke dimagh nahi khate." Shree said with irritation
"Hai my Specky Sen... tumhara kab available hai khane ke liye... or do you even have one." Lisa snickered. Even Ayesha had sheepish smile on her face.

"Abay yar Adi... aaj to tu marwa ke rahe ga." She looked at herself in mirror one more time.
"This is the 100th time you looked in mirror." Aditya laughed at her. "Your ugly face won't change."
She slapped him on his head playfully and said
"Just drive."
Aditya had never seen her happy this much. Not even when they graduated from high school together... not even when their acceptance later from Denver came... And not even when she graduated from Denver. He was happy for her. He parked on front of ETF building and she got off.
"Senna" he called from his car and
she turned around "All the best and keep smiling like this."
She nodded and waved him good bye. She looked at her reflection on the door and she looked perfect in her black and white plaid shirt, black jeans, boots, her hair tied up in a high ponytail and her black glasses. She smiled and walked in. She was a little nervous and whole a lot excited. Finally she was in the place where she wanted to be in past few years. She asked for the direction at front desk and continued her way toward her destination unaware of what destiny was holding ahead for her.
She walked past the picture which was in the hallway of Rathore and Raute... both getting some sort of medal. She smiled at the picture... yet with sad eyes. But as soon as she looked at the clock above, her eyes widened and she ran for the meeting room. As soon as she entered she ran into something... well someone.

Arjun fumingly stepped for the door but as soon as he opened the door a girl collided with him and his hands automatically went around her waist... to protect her from falling. He looked down and the first and only thing that he noticed was her eyes. Those eyes... that reminded him of all the pain that he went through... all the times that he missed his best friend... All those times that he spent trying to find her. And with that pain running around his brain, his arms released her and she fell down. The anger that he had... went up another level... why did this girl reminded him of her?
