It was almost midnight by the time Nk slept⌠Lavanya sneaked out of the house, took her Rodeo and left. She wanted her answers and couldn't wait for the morningâŚ. She wanted answers and then too now itself. She drove her two wheeler towards Manohar mansion, too see him.
Shyam was trying to sleep. But he couldn't⌠there was this nagging feeling, a feeling of restlessness, a feeling of someone calling him⌠he dint know what it was and this really irritated him. He gulped down 2 glasses of desi daru and tried to calm his nerves, praying for sleep to take over. But things were not going his way especially now that he heard someone banging the front door. He dint understand one thing if Shyam was as heartless as he was told or was a bad man, how and why was he standing and taking all the accusations without doing anything. As far as he knew criminals like him, they never let others especially women to treat them like thisâŚ. Then way was he just standing and looking at her in painâŚ.. Nk knew he had to hang in here for more⌠his mind had begun to doubt the charges against Shyam and he would never convict an innocent manâŚ
Kushal looked at the time. It was 11, and he needed to talk to KushiâŚ. He called her from the hallâŚ. Kushi ran down seeing her brother. She thought he had just come in and hugging him happily⌠Kushal's eyes welled thinking of how broken she would be after he told her the truthâŚ.
