He's acting like a total psycho, but tbh I understand his situation. He made a HUGE mistake of not trusting Gunjan and falling in the trap that his mother, Charu and Sangeeta had planned. But then think about it, how would you feel if you had to spend your ENTIRE life with a person you dislike. Mayank hated Charu after he got to know the truth and he was tricked into marrying her. I'm not saying Mayank is right, but the fact that he was given sort of like life long imprisonment (married to Charu) for not believing Gunjan earlier. That's not done yaar, he didn't deserve Gunjan, but he didn't deserve to get married by deceit either.

Then if Mayank is unhappy with his marriage, he needs to divorce Charu.

Even though, it was wrong for him to be married to Charu by deceit, he did choose to marry her in the first place when he broke off with Gunjan and their engagement. When he found out the truth on his wedding to Charu, he just expected Gunjan to marry him right then and there without a decent apology at all. That is really a huge ego he has. He thinks he is something special that Gunjan should just forget all the insults and accusations he threw at her and just be grateful he wants to marry her and do it. But unfortunately for him, Gunjan has self-respect and didn't just fall on him. So now he is doing the emotional blakmail drama to get her. That is so sad and pathetic. I am glad that the promos say, she will reject him.

I respect that some fans want Rajeev with Rachna. Although I don't think they make a great pair and i would prefer Gunjan and Rajeev, for their sakes then let Rachna have Rajeev BUT no Mayank and Gunjan jodi at all. Mayank attempting suicide to get back Gunjan, and her actually falling for it is not a good message to be sending to the young viewers. They need to show us that suicide is not the answer. Let Mayank learn to respect himself and his family's feelings. Especially his parents.
