The plunging TRPs & the frantic search of a beleagured production house for a female lead opposite their star of the show has saddened hardcore Arjun/Shaleen fans like me a lot. The sheer backbreaking work & dedication of the actors & crew is jaw dropping. Besides the real nature of the star cast endears them to us even more.

That is why I am compelled to ask what if Sana Khan had informed the production house of her asthamatic condition before hand? She of all people would have known that she couldn't handle the shooting conditions of a show like Arjun.Wouldn't the production house have had a proper replacement before the show had begun thus saving Arjun so much heartache now? Don't get me wrong.I am not blaming her for anything.But audiences must simply have a heroine to trip & fall into the hero's arms or have endless eyelocks & an occasional hot hug😕 It doesn't matter that the same is being aired on n number of channels from 6.30 pm to 11.30 pm daily . That Team Arjun & Shaleen in particular shoots in extreme jungle conditions or busy city streets makes no dent whatsoever.Situation is such now that a newbie in Tellyworld won't even bother turning up for a token audition for the show.All that "fans" care about is when the Love Story would begin

Would Shaleen Malhotra would have been among the top like other 4lion heroes like he deserves to be if they had found a proper Sanaya, Dhrasti or Zoya for him?

I expect a healthy discussion here since I am already beginning to have nightmares of the show being axed & hence needed to share my troubles.Please do not turn this thread into a battleground.A humble request😊

even though arjun is a investigation serial wat make it different from others is the way its shown

here nt only they r giving imp to case bt to the personal lives of members also

they show us the bond b/w members

and to make it more interesting they had promised us to show romance also

ariya was the best pair.we all know that.

bt we were so unlucky so we didn't get to see their relationship growing

they must brng romance to the show

bt it must nt be fully filled with romance like other daily soaps

yes he must have a perfect partner and the show too require that

i also don't want the show to go off

it s the investigation show which i have ever seen

and salute to all the cast and crew working 4 ARJUN

That was my point exactly.Since the makers had promised romance too in the package could it have been different scenario now if someone else had taken up the mantle of Arjun's romantic lead right from the beginning? Are the TRPs nosediving only because of lack of a love story?

and i actually agree with you, Arjun was an action packed serial, so i guess even before joining all cast must have been informed of its harshness and environment and the hard work required...

Sana had been ill from the start, even before the show, i mean her asthma problem, so ideally she should have refused from the very start for this show!

Among other reasons, one of the main reason for low TRP is because we all fell in love with Riya's character, and many felt very much deceived when she was killed, and many even left

I feel they should have been more cautious in choosing their cast!

and frankly i wonder why indians love this saas-bahu serial so much, i feel it's very boring to even watch, and on top it shows us how to fight with either bahu or saas😆

well i myself enjoy love serials, but i do agree that Arjun is much more than that...

It's a crime-thriller serial first and foremost!😊

Its a pretty good post ...

and yes nuthing beats Saas bahu sags over here ...sad but true !!!

I have few things to say ...

- Sana was working with them for & months in IPPKND i am sure they would Aasthama problem as these things arnt hidden i guess ...just a guess

- Secondly she was a reserach specialist but all they made her do was stats like in the second case kanika wala i thought it should have been her research that should have let them know that she was married in childhood .But i guess they wanted more of a female cop.

- Thirdly she is just 20 yrs old yaar...chouto baby hai woh abhi 😃

Sorry had to rant it off ...

Anyways ..yes Ariya was estabalished since the very beginning but CVS also know that people will not accept a new lead so soon...they are just bidinbg there time look at the numbers of months people to accept Ayesha..they woudnt rush into romance so soon ..

Also it been a crime based serialso romance will be on back end ..i the launch interview they said that love story will start later ...

I guess CV s are still trying to gauge the pulse and see who will the audience accept against Arjun...

P.S- I really liked Riya and her scenes with Shree & chotu 😭

Also i guess i went off track a little 😕

if sana wud hav informed earlier ph must hav done sumthing that tym bt then it is our badluck and nw we cant do anything
talking abt arjun i know we all want to see arjun's love life... bt i think arjun is nt a show which is only based on love story as subject ,its a crime investigation serial and we must accept that luv story is juzt a part of it...and obviously arjun team is doing a lot of wrk bt trp's are falling and falling

here all that matters is trp's and the new gal dint even wanted to give audition juz bcoz arjun is nt topping trp charts and is nt like other shows it is different 😭

and yes shaleen is nt a big star like other serials hav bt he deserves to be the one and v cant deny his efforts also fr me it doesn't matter if they wud hav found proper drashti,sanaya or nt he is a superstar fr all arjun fans and will always be all that matters fr us is the hardwrk arjun is doing and the content wat arjun show is giving

m also worried and m afraid if trp wont inc.ph will stop airing the show and we will lose a gud serial😭

very well said zuby...infact these all things were going on in my head as well...if they had shown someone else as a female lead who could cope with the hectic schedule then i dont think the trp's would have gone down...i dont blame sana,i think she did not know that all this was going to take a toll on her healthand the ph they were quite unlucky...the character riya had such an impact on people that arjun lost most of its viewers the day her character was axed...and she left such an imprint that the audience is not ready to accept any other female lead...its just like ipkknd(i am not comparing just relating the scenario) the audiance could not accept any other male lead instead of barun and hence the ubbert ending of the show...even i am scared that because the people are not ready to accept ayesha/sheetal or if they will be able to accept ritu/liza in the future the show will be axed...really pray to god that this does not happen in any case.

but why are people making the whole cast of Arjun for it???😕

How and why should a serial stop if one of the lead has decided to leave it???

It was the show which made the lead popular, not otherwise...

Hence people should give other female actresses also a fair chance nah, do they really think by being obstinate and forcing Gorky, Sana or even the PH, that they'll force Sana to return!!!

This will never work, cause Sana also doesnt even want to return!

Why dont those people pester her, instead of Gorky or PH...

The way some people are behaving is as if Gorky or PH is responsible, and hence they are forcing their views on them, and even blackmailling them to stop watching the show😕

I was a very very big fan of Ariya, and stil am i, but i realise she wont return, and i also realise the work everyone is doing in that show, and i also realise what it means to be jobless!!!

So should all these people working for Arjun pay just because some people want Sana back???

nope the trp are going down, because all Arjun's episode only consists of extra-marital affairs and love...

with time people are getting bored.

I agree every crime boils down to love or hatered atleast from the last 3-4 episodes ..

All they really need a very gripping story ..

Also CID is still the most watched Crime based ...its a very big competition to Arjun.
