Around midnight Jeevika was downstairs working in the office finishing her paperwork and updating her files online for the hospital. She was really tired after having a long day in the hospital with Zaaine. Viren was upstairs on the laptop in their bedroom sitting on the sofa while Zaaine slept. He was about to go downstairs to bring Jeevika when he heard Zaaine starting to cry and move around. Viren went to the bed and sat next to Zaaine who got up from the bed and hugged Viren sitting in his lap. Viren just rubbed his back trying to get him to quiet down.

v - "Shh... Zaaine its okay. Close your eyes and sleep"

Zaaine slowly stopped crying while still laying on top of Viren. Viren just got on the bed instead of going down, now that Zaaine was asleep on him. He kept kissing his cheeks and his head as he slept. He looked so innocent sleeping like that. Viren was too scared to even move because he didn't want Zaaine to wake up again. He turned the tv on and put the volume on low as he was getting bored. Jeevika came in around 1 am looking dead tired and about to crash. She got into bed and saw Zaaine asleep on top of Viren.

v - "He started crying again and then fell asleep on me" he whispered to her looking at him.

Jeevika got closer to him and pecked a small kiss on her son and then on Viren making him happy as well. Jeevika cuddled up with Viren as they both placed their heads on top of each others and warmed up under the blanket like the most perfect family. Virika were truly two bodies one soul, and one heartbeat!

Okay that's the end of Heartbeat. I didn't even want to give it a proper ending, but this is only for the people who regularly commented.
