A/N: I had been the most excited when I heard that I was being conferred an honour this huge. But as I sit to write this update, I realised one thing. I can never collaborate with anybody. I guess I'm just too stupid that way.
Anyway, here goes nothing. An update. It can never match the brilliance of the ladies before me, so please don't run after me with jootas and chappals :)
This was honestly a mistake.
Not proof-read yet.
Chapter 12
"Payal, you... are... PREG-"
"HA HA GOTCHA"
And both Arnav and Khushi stared, as the young woman in front of them burst into a peal of laughter. She doubled over and clutched her stomach, gasping something which sounded like your expressions...
Arnav and Khushi stared.
The woman finally straightened, with some difficulty. However, all the efforts went to the drains when she saw Arnav's confused expression, and burst out laughing again.
"STOP LAUGHING PAYAL THIS IS NOT FUNNY"
She stopped laughing with some effort. "Sorry, I know. Okay so basically, I heard all about you going the Lolita way and f**king your student-"
"As far as I know, Lolita didn't have a teacher-student..."
"Yeah yeah, whatever. That book is a kinky mass of nonsense. ANYWAY. As I was saying, you are f**king your student and I, the amazingly awesome lawyer, came to talk some sense into your stupidly asshole-ish self. But then I couldn't resist the idea of freaking the hell out of you so whatever. You know the rest"
"What the hell?"
"Okay now that I'm here, and we're done establishing the fact that you're an idiot, lets move on to your darling student. Hi, what is your name?"
Khushi stared. For one, this woman talked too fast. Second, she knew Arnav. Too well, knew Arnav too well. This woman...
"Honey, I asked you what your name was"
"Who are you?" Khushi asked, dazed with the speed of the conversation.
"Obviously, it's not only Arnav who's the idiot here. Now I know why you two hit off so well. I'm Payal. Arnav's best friend"
"Lets just do this the conventional way, shall we Payal? Hi, I'm Khushi"
"Very nice to meet you, Khushi. Shall we go out for coffee. Shopping later? Or shall we sit here and discuss your sex life, with a bottle of wine my mom had the decency to shove into the boot of the car?"
"Excuse me?"
"That's enough Payal" Arnav interjected. "Jokes over. Why are you here? And more importantly, how do you know I'm in relationship with Khushi?"
"Arnav, have you not seen the news today?" Payal grabbed the remote and hurriedly flipped through the channels, till the channel she desired glared back at them, through the screen.
They froze.
"In a startling revelation, it has come forth that a teacher and student from Harvard University, are in a relationship. This has to be the third case of the month, when a student and teacher have been found having a sexual relationship. It is being suspected that this relationship was suggested by the teacher and student for up-gradation of marks. Our spokesperson tried to contact the teacher - Arnav Singh Raizada and the student, Khushi Kumari Gupta..."
The T.V screen suddenly turned black. Payal had switched off the T.V. Silence reigned in the room. You could hear the fear pulse through them, in waved and particles. They were too Late. It was not going to be a Fairy Tale Romance. They had crossed over to the Dark Side. In the process of figuring out why there hearts had whispered Something About You when they saw each other, they had forgotten. In their Pursuit of Love, they had not given thought to what would happen next. So much for there territorial Mine!, now they were Tainted. Fear rained down on them, like Droplets... there dreams, so full of Glitter had now shattered like Glass. As for Khushi? Her dreams of being married... of wondering whether her marriage would be Arranged, Love or Whatever... they had gone. Gone with the Wind.
They stared at Payal. She understood there silent appeal, and got down talking.
Arnav was Payal's best friend. And she would be damned, before letting him being eaten up by the dogs.

On the other side, Pam and Sim clutched themselves in delight. There plan had worked. Now they would show Arnav Singh Raizada and that stuck up loser, Khushi Kumari Gupta. Of course Arnav and Khushi weren't actually in a relationship. This was only to get back at the proffessor, and his darling student. Stuck up losers.
Oh, if only they knew...

Sorry guys, I'd been grounded for about a week, during which my laptop was taken away from me. I got it back last night, and wrote the update at around 2 AM. So please don't judge me with what I just posted, I swear my regular writings are slightly better than this one 😆
In most colleges, it is not allowed for a teacher to have a relationship with a student. Why Arnav and Khushi's "mistake" hit the news because A&K's college is a big one, and obviously Sim and Pam put some namak-mirch and haldi into the story. I hope that part was clear enough.
Okay now bye *ducks*
