Sony's 'Jassi' to get a new look

Who doesn't know Jasmeet Walia? This character of Sony TV is one of the most loved and respected persons in all soap operas.

The bespectacled, ambitious, not-so-average looking girl who makes it big in the fashion world has fans all over the country. For all the admirers who have been waiting to see the 'real' Jassi – that is Mona Singh, there is good news. The transformation from Jassi to 'Mona' is happening either in late January or early February 2005.

In fact, Sony Entertainment Television has two other makeovers lined up in the next few days. One is Shama Sikander (Pooja in 'Yeh Meri Life Hai') who will have a new look. The second is Gaurav Gera (Nandu) of 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin' who has cut his hair really short, in that typical Sanjay Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna style. Looks like SONY TV has some interesting developments lined up for its audience. And just to let you know, Mona Singh was recently honoured at the Indo-American Society's fifth Annual Young Achievers Awards. The event was held to felicitate all those who have given outstanding perfomance in various fields.

Then there is no way they can end the show in march because what I heard there is a huge lot after the makeover.
