Efforts are being made from all ends to try and save Rashid. Ammi gets physical with Razia in her agitation. An angry Razia tells everyone that her actions were prompted by Shirin's future betterment and that Rashid was involved in the murder at the doll factory. She threatens everyone that she will make sure Rashid pays for the murder he has committed at the doll factory.
Dilshaad, Asad and Shirin
Shirin tells Ayaan to go and meet Asad and beg him not to give any information against Rashid. Aware that this is an impossible situation, Ayaan tells Shirin that Asad is a fair person and will not favor a person who is involved in a murder.
Seeing Dilshaad's efforts Asad comes and offers his support to her besides knowing that Rashid is guilty. Dilshaad tells Asad that he is torturing her by going against Rashid.
Insensitive Asad
Zoya questions Asad about his insensitive attitude towards Dilshaad upsetting him. She tells him to go on and live alone with insensitivity, arrogance and stubbornness as company. She is adamant that if Asad dares to tell the courts that he saw Rashid burying the remains of a dead body in the doll factory, she as an eyewitness will deny that there was any dead body.
Zoya's confessions of telling a lie leave Asad in a blooming temper and he yells at her to tell the truth. Zoya tells him that his adamant attitude towards Rashid's actions may take an innocent man to the gallows.
The toy packet from the orphanage
The packet of toys sent to the toy factory is retrieved and everybody in Asad's house searches for the doll but it is missing. Seeing Dilshaad break down into tears, Najma and Zoya rush off, trying to locate the doll in the house. Asad tries to tell his mother that the absence of the doll proves that Rashid is guilty of crime and is a murderer. As Asad says this out loud Ayaan hears this from the doorway.
At the same time the maid's daughter passes by with the doll in her hand, unseen by all. Asad brushes aside all the pleas made by Ayaan that Rashid is his father. He tries to reason with Asad that Shirin will die if Rashid is convicted. Ayaan tries to pacify Asad not to give statement against Rashid but Asad tells him that he will always stand by the truth, and Rashid is at fault.
He tells Ayaan that Dilshaad's safety will be compromised if Rashid is free as he does not trust him at all and confirms that he will give evidence against Rashid in Court.
