KHANS impress BEBO, not VIDYA!!!!!

'Kisi ke saath kaam karna ya na karna is not a benchmark," says Vidya Balan when you ask her why she is not paired opposite the Khans in the movie industry. The only Khan Vidya has worked with till date is Saif Ali Khan who does not belong to the triumvirate of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and even Deepika Padukone may perhaps consider that working with the Khans is perhaps the yardstick to measure their success, but the pretty Balan, does not really think so.

Only Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif till date have managed to work with all the top three Khans and Vidya hasn't even worked with any, barring an SRK cameo in her film Heyy Babyy.

Balan has the courage as well as the audacity to carry films on her own shoulders and she does with a lot of elan.

Vidya is clear that the kind of films she has been working in, does not require a big man as the lead opposite her and that the kind of heroes that the script of her films require does not really match the personalities that the Khans or the Kapoors have. And the kind of awards that she has been getting these days for her films like The Dirty Picture as well as Kahaani bears testimony to that.

"The script for me is the hero of the film and that is clearly established now with the kind of movies that I have done or worked in," says the actress.

After working in films like Ishqiya and The Dirty Picture Vidya is now a dependable and saleable actress and Kahaani has taken the legacy ahead.

Now Vidya has films like Ghanchakkar and Shaadi Ke Side Effects coming up for release soon. Ghanchakkar has Vidya paired opposite Emraan Hashmi and Shaadi ke Side Effects has Farhan Akhtar as her hero.

That means that 2013 also does not have any big superstar working opposite Vidya Balan.

Vidya had worked opposite Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan in her debut film Parineeta and worked again with Dutt in Lage Raho Munnabhai. And hence he is the one actor she wants to work with again.
