An emotional Roller Coaster Episode ... Episode which really made me emotional after a long time all thanks to some terrific display of acting by Gayatri , Gurmeet and Kratika
Aarti's sudden support for Akash did put me off but I understand from where she is coming from :
In the start of the episode I did feel a bit disatisfied with the way Aarti suddenly showed support for Akash by taking him to everyone from Gayatri to SP and joining hands to accept their son whereas she simply leaves Yash all alone after telling him this big truth ... I understand that Aarti felt bad with all the humiliation happening and I was ok till Aarti goes and removes that jooto ki mala from Akash's neck but after that I was expecting Aarti to b with Yash rather than asking all to support Akash there ...
Having said that , I feel in this situation we need to see it from Aarti's POV as well ... She has learnt it from Shobha to always support the truth even if it means standing on opposite side of the fence and today she actually followed Shobha's footsteps .. She cant let Scindia family commit this big sin of taking Akash around the city on a donkey .. She did ask Yash to stop it but Yash suddenly changed side in frustration saying let them do what they want if his brothers feel that their father is humiliated .. So well Aarti had no option but to tell the truth and stop the family from comitting this big sin something which Shobha too hv done and Aarti has taken this nature from Shobha ...
Yash's emotional moment when he feels all lost after drinking the poison of his real identity But Aarti remains his true Parvati ,trying to reduce the bitterness of that poison with her emotional support :
No words for AarYa moment today ... Simply speechless .. too emotional ... Yash is like a small baby .. He pours water on Aarti in anger after hearing the biggest truth of his life but then ends up crying his heart out in her arms only ... Felt like hugging him ... he just dunno how to react .. I loved the realistic touch in emotions here .. Instead of accusing SP that moment itself like a filmy hero , I see realistic reaction where Yash just goes inside a cocoon all alone locking himself in corner of a room , not ready to face anyone but simply cry his heart out while the bitter truth is yet to sink in ...Yash is thinking will all relationships change now ?? .. Wont I b the laadla beta of Gayatri maa anymore ?? .. Will my brothers start hating me now ?? ... Yash was silent but those tears in his eyes said it all .. he was not in a position to humiliate or accuse anyone because he feels do I even hv the rights or any identity to question or accuse anyone ?? ...
Yash just had a silent emotional breakdown and was just thinking what should I do... where should I go .. I cannot loose my family of 30 yrs ... Only Aarti could read these questions in his moist eyes and so instantly she sits besides him, rests his head on her shoulders and assures her that nothing will change , he will still remain Gayatri maa's raja beta and the dearest brother of Pankaj-Pratik ,only new relationships r going to add up in this family but his position in house will remain as it is And I love Aarti for perfectly understanding the fear in Yash's silence and voicing it out with her words of assurance which was much needed for Yash to come back in his senses ... Yash still had no words because he has lost the confidence at present after loosing his identity of 30 long years .. Yash just silently listens to Aarti like a baby and rests his head on her shoulders yet again to find some peace ... My heart goes out to Yash Scindia today and thank you Aarti for giving the much needed comfort to Yash when he needs it the most ... GC-KS take a bow ... u both were phenomenal in the whole scene ...
I m glad that the reactions after the truth were kept realistic without putting in any OTT filmy drama :
I was expecting violent reactions from all after Aarti tells the truth regarding the baby swap and how Akash is the legitimate son while Yash is illegitimate one .. Mayb I m too used to ekta soaps and so I was expecting Gayatri to slap SP or Yash to shout kutte kaminey to SP after the truth comes out .. Then those typical drama in front of public which often happens in such situations and so initially when I saw individual subtle reaction of characters privately in their respective rooms I was like yeh kya response hai .. It did pleasantly shock me and for once I m happy I got real reaction from the characters which touched my heart ..
I could see the inner pain and frustration inside Gayatri when those tears were coming out of her eyes while she stood there like a stone with her back against SP ..Her voice was always suppressed by her husband because she has been taught to worship her husband like god who can never make mistakes ..I saw sarcasm and frustration there in Gayatri's words .. She dint lecture or preach SP like a filmy wife or like Shobha maa about right and wrong but her words taunting SP as God was enough for SP to put his head down in shame because SP's inner conscience knows what he did was not really a mistake but a crime *Claps for Gayatri here for showing the mirror to SP by taunting him with God tag* ...
Even the reaction of brothers were so damn real when Pankaj said yes SP made a mistake , but should we put him in jail and end this family forever ?? ..Its not possible ..So best is to forgive ,forget and accept the bitter truth and move on which is quite a real reaction and also here more than SP , their main worry was Yash ... Both Pankaj and Pratik cannot loose their Yash and so confronting SP will mean loosing their brother Yash too in the process because they both realised that place now belongs to Akash .. Vidhi comes from different family and so as woman her strong protest against Men and SP was valid too ..
The individual reactions were perfect .. Its all human to first think about your 30 year old relationships and emotional attachments before walking the path of justice and deciding what is wrong and what is right or what is true and what is false .. I loved subtle protests and POVs privately in their room without any filmy public tamasha ...
Last but not the least , Thank god not another Aarti humiliation ... I understand why everyone there trusted Aarti ... Its SP's silence which made all trust Aarti because if Aarti was wrong , then SP would not hv kept quiet but Aarti's revelation about baby swapping stunned SP too and he could not really oppose it since he himself was unaware of this
Should SP be forgiven or not ??
I think now the question is whether SP should b forgiven or not ??
At present I dont think any character is thinking about the future consequences once Radha-Akash steps into the house ... All r emotionally drained out and this bitter truth is going to take some time to sink in for all ...
Yash at present is confused about his own idenity and also scared of loosing the love of his Gayatri maa and his brothers ... His mind is so engaged in all these emotions that he has no time to think about SP's betrayal to his biological mom Radha ..
Aarti at present is busy consoling Yash ... She wants all to stay together like a big happy family without really thinking that its not possible for Radha and Gayatri to stay under same roof ... Can Arpita-Aarti or Yash-Prashant stay under same roof ?? Nope ... So its awkward for Radha and Gayatri too ... But Aarti's mind is so enaged in handling Yash's emotions and giving justice to Akash that she totally forgot the relationship dynamics of Radha-Gayatri here
Pankaj-Pratik and Vidhi at present do accept SP's mistake but they r not ready to loose Yash at any cost and so they r trying hard to actually ignore the whole 30 yrs back story by not really confronting SP over it .. The more they confront and accuse SP , the more Yash will feel guilty and disgusted of his new identity which the brothers want to avoid
Gayatri at present is disgusted with what SP did years back .. But what can she do ?? She rightly said that she is unfortunately a woman who cannot really leave her family or revolt against her husband ... She will hv to silently drink this poison and go back to worshipping her husband like God and assume God cannot make any mistake
So at present every character has got some or the other shock and forgiving SP or not is not really in their priority list at present because the main worry is loosing Yash ... If they all decide not to forgive SP for the sin he comitted years back , then it will end up making Yash feel all the more guilty since he is a result of that sin comitted by SP ... If Yash decides not to forgive SP , then it will end up making Gayatri feel that she lost her son to Radha and will forever go in depression because her motherly emotions r still with Yash ...
Whats interesting here is , we r yet to get a reaction from Akash-Ishita and Radha post the truth revelation ... Akash's life is turned upside down too along with Yash and will he accuse his mother Radha for this who did the swapping ?? Interesting
Moral of the story is its easier said than done when we say SP should b punished ... Question is what punishment should b given to SP .. One punishment could b asking him to marry Radha .. but then what about Gayatri ?? ... Another punishment could b Boycott SP from family but that will actually make Yash feel more miserable since I said this earlier too he will feel that he is a result of the whole sin which resulted in Gayatri loosing her husband forever and Yash is still emotionally attached to Gayatri ... Another punishment could b asking him to say sorry to Radha from his heart and accept that yes he was at fault and he was being unfair to both ladies Gayatri as well as Radha which I feel is going to come eventually from SP only and I feel AarYa together will make SP do this so that both mothers can get justice
Overall a wonderful episode with lots of unexpected display of subtle emotions which reminded me of the old PV once again --Gagss
