Change - a word some people believe in deeply and some people do not believe in (I have encountered people who say that a person cannot change).

But, if we scrutinize life carefully we can see that change is one norm of life which is inevitable - there is change in feelings and emotions, change in what we perceive as good and bad, change in our beliefs and values, change in our fortune and worldly status and change in the status of our relationships.

So, a lot of changes especially change in emotions and change in relationships is what we are seeing in QH these days. And we as viewers, some of us are happy with some changes while others are not happy with some other changes. But what we have to realize is that just like a person's real life story, in this reel life story also change is inevitable - for the story to move forward and for the characters to evolve.

One relationship status that I see being debated on most now is the mother- son relationship between Asad and Dilshad.

Asad and Dilshad shares a very unique, understanding and loving mother-son relationship that we can see on reel or let's say even in real life. Abandoned by the man in their life at a very critical stage - for Asad, abandoned by the father when he was at an age where he needed a father's support most, and for Dilshad, abandoned by the husband while she had a small boy and a one year old child to look after, both Asad and Dilshad had been the support system for each other since the

And now these two people are at loggerheads, because of that one person who had abandoned them years ago. Is it fair? No it's not. But then that is the changes which come to our life as changes in our emotions and feelings. And it is the circumstances of life which bring them, and right now, we cannot judge and say that Dilshad is wrong or Asad is right. To me both are wrong and right as well.

Asad had been carrying so much hurt, distrust and anger towards his father since his childhood. But on the day his mother got shot and was counting her last breaths, he let go of all these emotions and went to ask his father to come to the hospital because he knew that his mother still loves her husband and would want him to be there besides her if she was taking her last breaths. He understands her and loves her that much. And then, while searching for the person who tried to kill his mother who means everything to him, he finds out that the person is none other than the father he distrusts. All the evidences he saw pointed to Rashid and Asad has no reason to believe that Rashid is innocent. The circumstances of his life have not left him with any reason. So we can very well understand his anger which got out of control that day when he tried to shoot Rashid and his reasons for informing the police to arrest Rashid. At this moment in time Asad cannot think of reasons why he should not have been so impulsive. He cannot even think of what Ayaan and his other sisters' feelings would be like.

Now it's not that Dilshad the mother does not understand what her son's feelings are like. She understands but at the same time she knows the person Rashid much better than anyone else including Shirin. Hence she knows that regardless of everything that had happened between them, Rashid would never try to kill her. She has that much faith in him so she is standing with what she believes is right and the truth and which actually is the truth here.

May be that Slap is a bit of over expression of emotions, but otherwise I don't see that Dilshad is doing anything wrong by standing with Rashid today. May be she is wrong in not trying to be more understanding with Asad. But I don't think she is completely failing to understand Asad. She knows what her son's feelings are like regarding his father. She knows that at this point in time it's not possible to put any sense into Asad's head. And just like Asad said she had always taught him to stand by what is right. So today by being firm on her belief that Rashid is innocent, she is again trying to teach her son a lesson in a firm way. And the day is not far when Asad will realize it and the mother- son relationship changes again and goes back to being what it was before.

Dilshad is not doing anything because she is blinded by love. Yes she had not stopped loving Rashid but she is a strong woman who had carried on with her life after Rashid left her and even recently she had promised Asad that she will not have any relationship with Rashid anymore. So even now, she is strong enough to continue to live a life without Rashid and his love. so here, she is not looking for love but she is standing by a person whom she loves in his hour of need when she knows that he is not guilty of the crime for which he is being accused of. She is also trying to teach her son that he still has some reasons to respect and be on the side of his father, regardless of what he has done to them

The other relationship that is changing is Asad and Zoya's relationship. Its heartwarming to see Asad trusting someone other than Dilshad, Ayaan and Najma and depending on Zoya. Asad whose ideologies clashed so much with Zoya's and who believed that Zoya is incapable of doing anything good, today has started to trust Zoya and depend on her for things. And Zoya who never failed to argue with Asad and point out that everything he does is wrong is today standing by him eventhough she knows that Asad might be wrong. She had once told him (while dressing his wound) that may be Phuppi is right. And she believes in her phuppi but at the same time she knows that Asad needs someone to be on his side and stand by him. Her change of feelings towards him makes her understand that much and that is what she is doing.

And I have a feeling that one of the reasons why Dilshad is keeping away from Asad is because she has noticed the change in the relationship of Asad-Zoya. She always wants Asad to get married and move on in life so may be she is trying to encourage that. Yesterday when she talked to Asad and when she last told him that he will soon realize that what she is doing is right, I felt it had a double meaning in it. she had noticed the way Zoya was standing just behind Asad, and it felt as if she was saying there are times when you have to stand by someone regardless of how right or wrong that person is and he will realize it soon when he realizes his and Zoya's feelings.

The other relationship that is going to change with winds of change is Asad- Ayaan's.. let's see how that goes.

Something to ponder before ending'. Yesterday's Raziya's line--

"If you fear fire so much, you should not have started the game of fire". Does this mean Maamu started a game of fire even before this doll factory incidence?.

25/2 update:

Asad vs Rashid:

Today s episode is once again about how the winds of change brought by Toofan Raziya has changed the emotions of all characters.

Just like i said in earlier post, each person is right in their stand and at the same time wrong as well

Asad has reasons to believe what he is believing and he is right from his point of view. But just like Zoya said why cannot he let go of all his hatred and consider things from Dilshad's point of view also.

I am seeing that many are blaming Dilshad for not being on Asad's side without realizing the fact that here Dilshad is standing for what is right (which we all know is right). If Dilshad sides with Asad today, and sentence Rashid for a crime he had not committed, and tomorrow when the truth comes out i am sure Asad is going to be guilty as hell. What will he do then?

Today Asad is saying that he is doing everything to punish the person who tried to kill his mother but when that mother is continuously saying that, that person whom he is putting the blame would never try to harm her and when she is saying it with so much conviction, why cannot he listen to her once and at least consider what she is saying.

I understand Asad's point of view and the reason's for his behavior and what he is doing but after today's episode i have to say that Asad is being as stubborn in his quest to punish Rashid as Dilshad is equally stubborn on proving his innocence.

I simply love the way this track is unfolding. Because at the end of this i am sure that each and every character is going to sit back and ponder on so many things. what they have done right and what they have done wrong based on their beliefs. And each person is going to realize that they have been carrying so much false assumptions and beliefs regarding their life and regret many things.(Rashid and Asad will regret the most).
Today the highlight of the episode is Zoya = Asad scene. I simply love the way their relationship is progressing. The way Zoya has stood up to Asad is phenomenal. Because Asad needs to learn to respect Zoya and listen to her even when she disagrees with him.And he did it today even though he got angered by Zoya's words. And in the end if any body can convince Asad to change his mind, i guess iy would be only Zoya.

Kauser, I love love your analysis...yes, all relationship are changing...
Asad called police out of yrs of frustration and vindictiveness... If he was so righteous he would've done more to punish the Mangalpur gang...he was very hand off at that time... With Rashid he was quick to react...

If he believes Rashid is not a bad guy then all his childhood psych scars become baseless... He is not ready to let go of ill feeling towards an alleged monster named Rashid.

dilshad knows the man.. She might've been hurt by his behavior earlier but she knows he is NO killer... I like the characterization Dilshad ...so calm and poised...

Zoya...liked her admission that she knows Asad will always be there for her and his family... It also means she might think ...he saved her in Mangalpur tomb out of sheer goodness of his heart, NOT because he is in love... That realization is not out in the open yet... And Zoya hasn't reached the same stage (of love) as Asad has. Asad of course will deny his love ( 4 lion style)...

I am thoroughly enjoying this ride...

Thanks. i also like the character Dilshad. she is one strong lady. Zoya i feel is very much like her. A strong young woman, and i hope they don't change her character. And apparently from the new precap, it looks like that she is disagreeiing with Asad and telling him not to give evidence in court. That is really good... not because she is trying to save Rashid but because Asad needs to learn to respect her even when she disagrees with him also. All these changes should come before Asad and Zoya also finally truly realizes what they mean for each other and after they start a life together also that kind of understanding should be there from both side for the relationship to survive.
I am also thoroughly enjoying the ride.😃

Very nice post

I think there is enough said about Dilshaad / Rashied. Dilshaad is right when she says that Rashied will never hire someone to kill her, but I was alraedy pissed with the dialogue : Agar Khuda bhi mujhse ..., I mean I don't understand why God is compared to humans...anyway I didn't like this line at all.
But Dilshaad also has to understand that Rashied has NEVER given Asad any reason to believe or trust him, so all of a sudden these feelings Asad has for Rashied will not change overnight...
He will doubt Rashied going by his past experiences

I am happy though that slowly but steadily the equation btw Asad- Zoya is changing...he doesn't push her away anymore, infact he looks for comfort in her...
And I loved what Zoya said yesterday abt Asad that she has this believe and trust that Asad will always be there for her and his family...but I feel Zoya is not on realization yet of her feelings
She utters these words going by her past experiences of which Mangalpur incident was the worst for Zoya...Asad has always been there to her rescue, no matter how pissed he is / was at her...
So she thinks he saves her everytime out of good heart...
And I am liking that even Asad is changing slowly...it's been evident from the past few episodes...the way he calmed down when she entered his room after coming back home, the way he allowed Zoya for the first time to clean his wounds and also yesterday when she talks abt how he should be there for Dilshaad and Najma, the way he looked at Zoya.
For him it seemed quite normal that Zoya made breakfast and he just drank the coffee she made for him...I so loved the kitchen scene just like miyan-biwi
Also when Dilshaad walks out of the house, Asad stood there and then turning to look at Zoya as if to ask her if he's right or not...the OLD Asad would just turn around pissed and walk to his room leaving Zoya standing there...

I wonder when both will realize that these feelings that are going on within themselves is actually love and nothing else...and yes Asad will at first deny being in love, esp with someone like Zoya who is the total opp of what he wants or imagined
BUT...going by 4 Lions concept ( if this hold true here ) once Asad realizes fully and accepts that he's in love with Zoya, I don't think he will let go of Zoya so easily...sorry don't want to compare, but Asad reminds me alot of Maan Singh Khurana

Another rishta which seems to be changing is Asad-Ayaan...I just hope that Ayaan doesn't do anything foolish and at least give it a thought why Asad did what he did...

Thanks. You have also described very well the subtle changes seen in the relationships.
Agree Dilshad also has to understand Asad's point of view as well. that's why i said both are right and wrong at the same time. But i feel that Dilshd understands Asad's view more than Asad understands hers at this moment. But over all they both are very understanding when it comes to each others feelings so it won't be long before they comes again to a common platform.

And as for Asad and Zoya, these are just the first steps towards understanding each other. there's a long way to go and they will not fully realize their feelings soon because both are headstrong people not looking for love, but still helplessly falling for each other.😃
