Chapter 22

Manyata woke up early in the morning; she was in the hands of uday. He was enclosing her in his hands never wanting to leave her. Her heart skipped a beat remembering last night, she had fallen for his charms she tried to avoid like hell, he had made her a women, but she did not regret what happened last night, she too wanted their union. His touch made her feel secure made her feel that she was loved and cared by someone. He really was an understanding person; he was not hard at her. He loved her

And she too loved him; she fell in love with him the moment they had met. Maybe it was fate. If she wanted both of them could lead a happy life, a dream life. But no it was not correct. It was against rajnidhi and she would never go against it

"Manyata will you marry me, will you be mrs udayveer singh."

Uday was kneeling before her with a ring in his hands, proposing her. Her heart screamed

"Accept that ring you fool, that's what you too wanted" but her brain showed her the pictures of his killings of rohan and many others whom he had mercilessly killed. But now she wanted to escape from there to bring justice. Uday had a past that made him impure,and that made him deserve punishment. She would make sure of that

Manyata looked at uday and smiled and told him

M:YES uday, I will

Uday slid that ring on her ring figure and then hugged her tight and passionately kissed her, she found herself giving to the kiss. It was a real kiss of love, it was pure and it was romantic too.

After they broke apart she cursed herself for falling for his charm

M: uday

U: yes princess

M: I want a favor from you. Who is that person in my family who paid you for my killing?

U: why is it princess?

M: why do we need formalities between us now uday, I want to know that person. As we are going to start a new life together we must at least be truthful to one another

U: it was your mother, komal

M: what? I don't believe this (she was visibly shocked)

U: yes princess, it was your mother who gave me the money to finish you off. I have the evidence for it

He takes her to the room where he hid his private stuff. Manyta noted the password of the shelf and was surprised to see its contents, it was enough stuff to make a horror movie. It had plans which uday made, cd's of meeting with clients, documents and papers of cash transaction

All these evidence is enough to put you to jail, thought manyata

He put that cd in a cd player, closed all windows and played that cd

Manyata watched with shock on how her mother gave uday the contract to finish her. Her eyes got filled with tears, but it was tears of anguish

M: uday I need your help, I want my mother to be brought before the law. If you don't kill me maybe she will again hire another person to finish the job, so it would be better to stop the source of trouble. So we need to sumbit this cd before the police

U: no, manyata it is not correct, first your mother's lawyer would be able to convince the court that the cd was fake and that it was morphed by her enemies to insult her, second the police will find its source and investigate on it and it will be traced back to me, that is, if that is what you want, put me behind bars (he smirks)

Manyata puts her palm on uday's mouth and her eyes shows her sorrow

Uday pulls manyta for a hug and rest his chin on her forehead and says

U: I know manyata, I know

Manyata gulped and looked at uday with shock, was all her plans foiled?

M: whhaat?

U: chill princess, we would be staging your death , just a drama. It is just to get the truth from your mother's mouth

Manyata breathed a sigh of relief

M: ok uday, so what is the plan

U: we stage a car accident and make people belive it is you

M: what about the body uday? Wont police find it suspicious without any body?

U: we will have a body for that

M: what? Who are you going to kill?

U: manyata relax, we can arrange a DEAD body, tie it to the seat and it will be burned beyond recognition, so no problem

M: but wont the lab tests show that the body is fake, then how will you be able to make people believe that I am dead

U: simple, lab results will only be out in a few days, especially the bone and dental analysis. So that buys us sufficient time to bring out the truth

M: but what about the media

U: don't worry there is nothing that money can't bye, princess. Witnesses or doctors or anything for

The next few days was spent in preparing a fool proof plan to stage manyata's accident

Charts were drawn and sketches were made, the cliff point road where the accident was to take place was visited and clarified.

Uday was practicing the drive from his home to cliff point and manyata too joined him in disguise. They noted the time and found that it was about 28 minutes from their home to the cliff point

This accident needed precise timing, everything ought to be correct and perfect, or it could turn deadly.

Days flew, and finally the day arrived where they would put all their efforts to action

Uday dressed into a shock absorbing suit, he tied the dead body, dipped in formalin, to manyta's car seat. Manyta's car was in uday's house as she had gone to see him on that fateful day. Her car was an identity that it was manyata. Manyta would follow uday in a motorcycle and take him away from that spot. Uday carefully placed two 10 litre bottles of petrol in the back seat, the fuel in the care was full tank, the fuel would ensure that the car would burn completely, including the body inside so that no misleading evidences would be there. All depended on the speed of the car and the force with which it would fall down the cliff. The time was around 11 30 pm, uday got in his car and manyata in her motorcycle. She carried a first aid box and a bag containing a piece of her dress dipped with her blood.

The smell of formalin gave uday a headache, but it did not deter him from pursuing his goal. He drove the first 20 minutes in ordinary speed and when he reached the cliff point, he increased the speed of the car to around 120 km/hr and raced the road; luckily there were no vehicles on the road at that time, far about 60 metres ahead he saw a car parked, its front lights where on. This was the perfect time

He drove the car in a zigzag manner and when he reached the top, he slammed the car to the side road block and then after a moment he was airborne, he quickly opened the door of the car and flung him outside. Uday fell down to about 50 meters from the road, the car moved down further down, it somersaulted about 8 times, and by the time it reached the bottom of the gorge, 600 m below it exploded into flames, sending a huge shock wave around. Uday lay down waiting for the explosion to end. The additional petrol in the car added fuel to the burning car and it was sure that not much of the car or the body will be left for tomorrow.

Soon he got up and started walking toward the road. The shock absorbing suit did do the job, but his body was still aching.

Manyta reached the place just in time to see the car exploding. She was scared. Did uday jump just in time or….

Oh she could not think about it, oh god please keep uday safe, please please, she prayed. Then she heard a rustle of leaves and looked at that place, there he was uday, live and fit. She ran and hugged him so tightly as if her life depended on it.

U: ah manyta you are chocking me

M: am sorry, I was so scared.

U: its time to plant the evidences

Manyata took the piece of cloth with her blood and gave it to uday, who took it in his gloved hand. He had removed his suit and handed over to manyata. He soon went down and placed the cloth among the bushes about 200 m from the accident sight. The fire from the explosion gave out an eerie light

Soon their work was complete and they left the place in the motorcycle

The next day uday accompanied jaggat to the accident site, whereas manyta spent time in front of the TV

The investigation went in its pace and soon the car was identified to be manyata's

Uday soon found out the piece of cloth he placed last night

Jaggat received a call from dr saidu, who wanted to meet him about the analysis

They met him and he confirmed that the blood sample belonged to manyata( at the cost of 4 lakhs ,thought uday)

Uday held that piece of cloth to his chest and cried. It was really heartbreaking

Soon the media got a whiff of this story, they questioned the witness and came up with their own version of manyta's death

( since this is just a flash back of what happened earlier iam writing this in a capsule form, if you don't remember this part, read the chapter 14 THE shocking ACCIDENT to clarify your doubts)

Anyway, mission was accomplished – manyta was officialy dead

Devgarh palace was officially in mourning. They invited uday too for manyata's final rituals and for the will reading section
