its becuzz he wanted to save anjalis happiness...he thot shyaam nd khushi were having an affair..so he married khushi so that ...khushi nd shyaam would separate...but poor khushi was innocent...nd shyaam is 🤢

Let me answer your question-

When he saw Khushi hugging Shyam, he thought they both were having an affair

He thought Khushi trapped Shyam

To put a full stop to theri relationship- He married her so that she can stay away from Shyam
