I was ok with Asad informing the cops. At the end of the day, a crime has happened and someone was murdered. So calling the cops was necessary. If Raashid is suspected, it is upto to the police to investigate Raashid and everyone else who is involved and come to the conclusion about who is the culprit...
But yeah, I found some of Asad's reactions like beating up Raghu to the point of making him unconscious, nearly about to shoot his father, breaking stuff in his room, and not trying to console his mom, etc a bit too much... he seems to come across as an unstable person. And I felt instead of beating up Raghu, he could have just found out from him who is behind all this and could have got him arrested!! Seriously, Asad's violent reactions had made him lose an imp witness and the actual culprit who shot his mom escaped!!

I have no sympathy for this man - he is a wimp, he could have even caleld Raziya's name when asked , whether Asad believed him or not, the name might have impacted on Zoya and even Asad...and he took THAT long to figure thta he got duped by a master puppeteer...Rashid is a waste of space

yup wimp and a bully . I hated it when they showed him corralling Razia and strangling her. 😡 Even though she may have well deserved it onscreen male -female violence is kind of turn off for me. yet he did not even whimper when Mamu was busy cutting his b*** and emasculating him.

I think he was not in the state to listen to anything. Well he has a lot of pains inside him and seeing Rashid hiding that skeleton how could he not believe what was infront of his eyes and believe in the man who left him and his family.

Thanks! I am not disagreeing on the point of Asad having anger issues...he needs therapy (understandable considering the damage his father has done) but Dilshaad for me just failed as a mother yesterday. She more than anyone knows how damaged Asad is from what his father. Is she really that blind to his pov?

Razia is one heck of a villain and the actress who portrays her is brilliant!!

Agree dear about his pain and everything about his instinct to not believe Rashid.
But the point I was trying to make was not on Asad and Rashid but his relationship with his mother Dilshad. This is not the first time he has tried to circumvent her . But this time around he really hurt her.

All you guys are so cute. How you relate to a fictional character and make him so real. I love visiting this forum, superbly entertaining. Well I love Asad and his flaws and even his streak of impulsiveness, precisely becoz he is fictional. Everything in soap operas has to be dramatized to a degree of 10:) So if normal people would throw a book in anger, Asad will have to destroy an entire room.

That said, I would like to admit that I still find Asad and Zoya's relationship very sweet. No comparisons, but even in Iss Pyar ko, their love story was so amazing precisely because Arnav was Arnav and Khushi was his polar opposite. It is quite easy to walk away from situations, but when you have feelings for someone, you should definitely give it a serious try and understand the person. Khushi did just that and Arnav changed so much for her, Asad would do the same for Zoya, given Zoya has the patience to tolerate his outer shell and temperamental outbursts. She's not without her own brand impulsiveness and immaturity and she is judgmental and Asad is slowly accepting that. They are both changing each other for the better.

As for his reaction to Rashid, I for one would say that he has shown remarkable patience till now,if I was in his shoes, would have taken action much earlier. Maybe it's his misconception, but now he thinks he has to protect his mother, nd he can do anything for that. In much milder situations I have created havoc at home, to poor Asad Mia to sochte hain ki his dad has killed once and can kill again- this time his mother. So give him a break and enjoy the show.

And please keep debating- I love reading all such posts:)
