Every so often in PR, our beloved characters find themselves at a crossroad, the outcome of which has the potential to transform the entire narrative. And on two such occasions within the past year, the more hackneyed path was chosen - that of Purvi relinquishing Arjun and now her baby. After this happens, the story can sail on auto-pilot and the CVs can go on holiday. (Even) A newbie like me can imagine how the next few weeks/months will play out- the CVs probably already have such story snippets written up that can be adapted and stitched together for the characters at hand.
So I will (most likely) be disengaging from PR for now, which is really unfortunate because I have grown to like Onir the character and actor (agree with Shyamala-aunty on this topic). It will be painful to watch the maelstrom that he will be find himself in. I just hope that the story reaches another interesting crossroad (say Archana's fate) that will compel me to engage again. Because I would *really* like to tune into PR again before Onir's character is flayed and his relationship is forfeited at the Arjun-Purvi altar.
