That morning Khushi woke up early with lot of excitement and a wide smile.Its their babies first birthday and she cant wait to celebrate.Her smile widened when she felt Arnav snuggling close to her from behind, and nuzzled his nose at the crook of her neck.

Khushi gasped at the touch of his early morning stubble at her sensitive skin.Before she could turn around or even touch her neck ,she felt wet sloppy kisses being showered over the very same spot soothing it.

"Arnavji " she mumbled and in an instant felt herself turning flat on her back and Arnav went on top of her.He grinned at her and placed a soft open mouthed kiss on her soft lips "Good morning Mrs.Laad Governor "

Khushi smiled back and looped her arms around his neck "Good Morning Arnavji ! Aaj aap bhi itni jaldi utt gaye? " she said checking at the clock which showed 5am.

Arnav smiled "Yep couldn't sleep much " he replied and moved her wayward hair away from her face lovingly.

Khushi grinned "Arnavji aaj humari aloo Puri ek saal ho gaye hai! " ( Today our aloo and puri are have become one year old )

Nodding with a big smile,Arnav got up to inspect the still sleeping babies followed by Khushi.Arnav pulled her to his side and hugging her by the side.Khushi smiled at him and laid her head on his chest and looped her arms around his waist.

They both stood like that and watched their bundles of joy sleeping peacefully.After couple of minutes Arnav sighed in wonder "Khushi I cant believe they are one !.I mean it just feels like yesterday when you were in delivery room eating jalebis at the same time trying to push the babies out " he chuckled at the memory and earned a playful slap on his chest."Now we have two naughty but amazing kids " he said with a proud father smile gazing at the babies in wonder.

"Haan Arnavji hume bhi yakeen nahi ho raha hain.Yeh dhono itni jaldi bade hogaye hain " She smiled and couldn't resist touching the soft cheek of Arush who slept sucking his thumb.

As if disturbed by the small gesture,their son gave a slight pout frowning in his sleep.Arnav chuckled "I guess we are disturbing him "

At the sametime their little princess stirred and stretched with a small smile, which reminded Arnav of Khushi's gestures when she wakes up.

Arushi slowly came awake and when her gaze met with her parents she smiled broadly "maamaa paapaa " she cooed and sat up flailing her arms at them happily.

Arnav always admired the way Arushi always wakes up cheerfully unlike other kids.Her own brother has a tendency to frown or cry the first thing he wakes up.He has to admit his son is pretty much like himself he thought with a smug smile.

Arushi climbed up on Khushi and snuggled her face at the crook of her neck.Khushi smiled and kissed her chubby cheeks "Humari pyari Puri ko Janam din munbaraq ho " she grinned at the proudly smiling Puri.

Arnav grinned and kissed Arushi's crown "Happy birthday my princess" he took hold of her in his arms and kissing her cheeks hugged her close to him.

Arushi then frowned and looked at Khushi "maa hooki ( bhookh-hungry)" she said making a puppy dog face.Both Arnav and Khushi laughed "Looks like princess is hungry here you go maa ke paas " he said and playfully flinged her less then an inch into Khushi's waiting arms making Arushi giggle.

Khushi smiled down at Arushi "Humari puri ko bhookh lagi " saying that she sat on the bed and began feeding her.

Within minutes their prince charming woke up with a whimper.Khushi laughed "Lagta hai Aloo jag gaye " ( Looks like Aloo woke up)

Arnav smiled at the now frowning Arush and lifted him up in his arms "Happy birthday champ " he kissed his forehead fondly and Arush smiled showing off his little teeth and repeated"appi budai " making Arnav and Khushi laugh aloud at his new word.

Khushi smiled and gestured "Arnavji yahaan lekar ayiye " When Arnav bent slightly,Khushi lifted up her face and kissed Arush making him grin back at her "Humari chotta rajkumar aloo ko janam din mubaraq ho " she said smiling broadly.

After feeding both of them, Khushi gave them a bath and after wrapping them up in a towel, She began sorting through the new dresses to select what to make them wear during the day to Mandir.Arnav smiled at her behind and called "Khushi shaam tak Arush arushi ko yeh pehna do "

She turned and her eyes widened in surprise at seeing him hold two dress boxes in his hands and a charming smile on his face.

"Arey wah aap ek aur naya kapde laye hain? "( Oh wow you brought yet another new dresses ?) she said smiling excitedly and taking the boxes from his hands,opened it eagerly like a kid herself.

She gasped in surprise when the first box revealed a very stylish light sky blue princess gown sequined with tiny white stones.

Khushi's face broke into a big smile "Arnavji yeh bohot sundar hai.Puri iss mein bohot khubsoorat lagegi " ( Arnavji this is so pretty and Puri will look gorgeous in this ) Arnav smiled.

She showed it to Puri who just grinned at her and went back to playing around with her all time favourite walker.Smiling again Khushi eagerly opened the other box and found a small three piece Suit and a white shirt.Khushi laughed "Arnavji aap Aloo ke liye suit laaye hai ? " she said while looking at the three piece amused.She is sure her Aloo will look as good as his father.

Arnav smirked proudly "Maine kaha tha na,Aloo will wear a three piece on his B'day.So what if its only till evening " he said shrugging.Khushi smiled remembering their suit 'sherwani argument last week in mall.

"Arnavji dhono kapde bohot ache hai.Hum abhi isse pehnate hai " (Arnavji this is so good,I will make them wear it now) she said smiling broadly Arnav smiled back "Ok you dress up Arushi,I will take care of Arush "

Dressing up Arushi is always easy as she loves being pampered and wearing pretty clothes.Making Arush wear the suit proved out to be more tedious.Everytime Arnav will take a piece of clothing Arush will start running around the room.

At one point of time Khushi also joined him in getting Arush ready.It took them nearly an hour to make Arush wear the suit.He again tried running away when Khushi took a comb to comb his hair.Arnav laughed and held him steady while Khushi combed his hair.

When Arnav too dressed in his black three piece suit and white shirt,Khushi looked at him with love evident in her eyes.She could see both father and son wearing the same colored clothes and both of them looked dashingly handsome.She is in no doubt that when Arush grow up he will be every bit the handsome hunk like his father making girls drool all over him.

At the sametime Arnav observed Khushi and his little princess lovingly.No doubt they are the most beautiful ladies in the world.He is absolutely sure Arushi will have many admirers as she grow up and he is going to have a tough time chasing men away.

Half an hour later, their entire family barged into their room to wish little Arush and Arushi.Nani and Mami gave their blessings and kissed them.While Dia,NK,Anjali,Aakhash and Payal showered their kisses all over them.All of them admired their dresses and complimented on how gorgeous and cute both of them looked.

Piyush ran and hugged Arush "Happie Burrday Ayush " ( Arush ) Everyone laughed at Piyush's childish but sweet wish.Khushi tickled Piyush and hugged him "Aap Puri ko wish nahi karenge? " Piyush smiled and wished Arushi ,who pulled his hair naughtily and laughed.Arushi always gave a tough time to Piyush and he is somewhat scared of her and her naughtiness.Anjana began clapping her hands excitedly and kissed both of them.

After wishing Arush and Arushi to their heart's content, They all proceeded to Mandir to take blessings from the almighty.

After Khushi came into his life,Arnav Singh Raizada started believing in many things.God is one of them.Before Khushi he refused to accept the existence of God nor he understood why his entire family believed in something which is non existent according to him.Now he know there is indeed god who had sent him an angel in the name of Khushi who in turn gifted him with two amazing little angels.He smiled at Khushi who struggled to climb the stairs of the mandir with a squirming Arushi in her arms.

Arushi wanted to try climbing the stairs herself and she began pouting and squirming "Maamaa nee nee puleee " ( Mom neeche pls ).Arnav carried Piyush and Anjana on both his shoulders playfully while NK carried a grinning Arush behind his neck.Arush happily had his legs on either side of NK's shoulder and held his head for support.

When pooja started, they all let the kids down and taught them to pray by folding their hands.Khushi was surprised to see Arnav trying to teach Anjana and Arushi how to pray.Looking at him,she cant believe he is the same person who made her life hell almost three years back.A man , who was proud enough to say he writes his own fate.Khushi's heart blossomed with love as she saw him praying with his eyes closed and a contended smile on his face.

When panditji kept kumkum on Arushi she grinned at him while Arush on the other hand just glared at the pandit and turned his face away."Jaise baap waise beta " Khushi mumbled earning a 'What the ' from Arnav.Laughing at him,Khushi held Arush's shoulder and made Pandit keep Kumkum on his forehead.

After the pooja the kids all began running around the mandir and had a good time.To everyone's surprise,Arnav dint show any signs of restlessness which he always shows whenever he comes to mandir due to Anjali's insistence.

Anjali smiled at a happy Arnav who was laughing at something Piyush did."Nani Chotte kitne badal gaye na.Usse aise dhekar hume bohot acha lagta hain.Sab Khushiji ki waje se " she said looking at the woman fondly ,who changed her arrogant ruthless brother into loving caring person.

Naniji smiled in approval "Haan Anjali bitiya sab Khushi bitiya ki waje se " She prayed to Devi Maiya her chotte and his loving family be blessed with all happiness.
