But Rashid in my eyes is still like someone said "a spineless wimp" this Gurya factory raaz is only the tip of the ice burg because he could have declined burning the factory. As far as Rashid is concerned, there is a lot more to know. I believe that Asad (Dilshaad and Najma) would have been better off living with answers than without. They would've been better off knowing that their father started a fire and accidentally killed a woman and rightfully undertook punishment than what they currently know- that he left them for another woman and fathered children with her.

DO agree with you here... may be they would have been better off knowing the answers.. At least Asad would have grown up without all that extra baggage of hatred and lack of trust... But we have to see from everyone's point of view and when seen from Rashid's point of view, i can identify with his justification for what he did also.. and so his action , 17 years back,becomes justifiable as well...growing up in a world who blamed their father for a crime would also not have been easy to the children.. image them being bullied at school saying their father is a murderer etc..

Rashid's biggest mistake is not just leaving Dilshaad but actually leaving the three to fend for themselves. It's not easy even for me as a viewer to forgive him the misery he caused Asad in the last 17 years. Asad has become a rather difficult human being as a result of that.

However, I'm going to wait to know everything about the Raaz (which would be months of show time) before completely writing off Rashid. I think he left them not because he was afraid of going to jail or being humiliated but because he was afraid for their safety/lives if he stayed. There was to be something more to it.

yea may be he was afraid of their safety.. He even told Dilshad that he wanted to keep her safe ( don't know if what he said really translates to safety in the sense he wants to keep her safe from a danger).. BUT then from what's shown so far, there s no reason why he should be afraid of their safety... because he did not know that Raziya was involved in a crime... he thought he had accidentally burnt someone and he killed that person accidentally when he put fire in the factory.. but yea there is more to this Raaz.. i hope they explain everything when it comes out..😃
