Part Eleven

RK awoke before Madhu in bed. He turned to his right and saw his sleeping beauties, Maya and Madhu. He smiled down at the both of them as he sat up. RK gently fixed Madhu's hair and caressed her cheek. He noticed Maya beginning to wake up; he quickly picked her up and stepped out of their room, afraid that she'd wake up Madhu. Just as he had expected, Maya burst into tears.

"Diaper change time...haven't done this in months..."

He quickly ran back into their room and went to the bathroom.

"What do I need? Hm, diaper obviously...and baby wipes!"

He laid Maya down and slowly undid her diaper as he cringed his nose up, preparing himself for the smell. As he undid her diaper, he stepped back in disgust and put his fingers up to close his nose.

"Ugh! How does she do this all the time?! MAYA! Can't you control your digestive system? Let out a little less would ya? For your papa, next time, please?"

RK stopped talking to himself as he heard laughing from the door behind him. He turned to see Madhu leaning against the door and laughing at him.

"Having some trouble RK?"

"How does such a little girl...let out so much?"

"That's nothing compared to last time!"

Madhu walked towards RK and Maya.

"Let me remind you how it's done."

She took Maya out of the diaper and threw it out. Then she wiped Maya's bum with the baby wipes. Maya finally stopped crying as Madhu wrapped the new diaper around her. When she was done, Madhu picked up Maya and held her up to show RK.

"Voila! Now how hard was that?"

"How about, you do the diaper changing and feeding and I'll do the keep Maya busy job."

"Ahaha that's so unfair! But fine!"

RK let out a slight chuckle after months. Madhu looked at RK and smiled, he was coming back. Though it was slowly...at least he was coming back. As RK looked at Maya, Madhu caressed the side of his face. His eyes shot up and into hers.

"I really did miss you."

"I'm sorry Madhu."

"I'm just glad you're coming back."

RK pulled in Madhu and Maya for a hug and kissed their foreheads.

"Do you know where freshener is? Maya stunk up our bathroom."

Madhu laughed and pulled away. She handed Maya to RK.

"I'll be back in a minute."

RK nodded and held Maya who had her beautiful golden brown eyes open. She stared up at him and put out her hand. RK placed his hand beside hers and she grabbed onto his thumb with her fingers.

Then suddenly, she began crying.

"Maya! Soon we'll have to nickname YOU glycerine aha, now where's your soother?"

RK walked out of the bathroom and saw Maya's soother on the side table. He picked it up and went to the bathroom to quickly wash it off before placing it in Maya's mouth. Once he finally put it in Maya's mouth, she quieted down. RK admired Maya as she squirmed in his arms but kept her eyes on his face.

"I'm your papa Maya, I can't wait until you can speak. You better make sure your first word is papa!"

"No! It's going to be ma!"

RK turned and looked at Madhu holding freshener in her hands.

"We'll see! Maya's daddy's little girl, she's going to say papa."

"Is that a bet?"

"How much?"

"Not how much! If Maya says papa, then I'll have to do what you say."

"And if Maya says ma?"

"Then you take over Maya's diaper changing duty for a month!"

"What?! Oh god Maya, save your papa and say his name when you can!"

"Ahaha well, approximately three more months before she can speak!"

"Three months."

Madhu put out her hand and RK shook it as they smiled at each other.

Part Twelve

Three more months passed as RK and Madhu attempted to train Maya into saying what they wanted to hear from her.

RK had joined work again and was leaving set to go back home. It was 9pm and he knew Madhu would be angry with his late shift, so he rushed out of the studio.

When he reached home, he ran up to their room.

When he entered, he found Maya sitting on their bed and chewing on one of her toys. He stared at Madhu standing on the side of the bed with her arms crossed, staring straight in his direction.

"Madhu! I can expl..."

"I don't want to hear it! You always come home late!"

"It's the stupid new actress, she doesn't ever get the scene the first time!"

"Excuses, excuses."

"I'm serious Madhu!"

"I don't believe you! That's your excuse every ti..."

"PAPA!"

RK and Madhu's eyes widened and shifted towards their daughter on the bed. She sat their giggling and swinging her toy around.

RK and Madhu looked at each other in disbelief for a second and then RK ran towards Maya. He knelt in front of her on as she sat on the bed.

"Maya! Maya what did you just say? Repeat it please? Say papa, say it! Pleaseee?"

Maya just giggled and hit RK on the head with her toy. Madhu laughed.

RK looked up at Madhu who smiled down at him.

"Madhu! You heard her say that right?"

"Say what patidev?"

"OH COME ON! She said p..."

"Pa...pa!" Maya blurted out again and then giggled.

RK looked back at Maya with a huge smile, he picked her up in his arms and stood. He spun her around and kissed her on the cheek as Madhu smiled and watched them.

"I love you Maya! I knew you'd say papa! Madhu! She said papa!"

RK looked at Madhu as she walked towards them and caressed the side of Maya's face.

"Her first word..." Madhu said softly.

RK kissed Madhu on the cheek and she looked at him with wide eyes. Maya attempted to follow RK's movement and hit her small face into RK's nose. Madhu burst into laughter.

"Maya! Ow!"

RK looked at Madhu with a cute angry look and she quickly pecked RK on the tip of his nose. He smiled.

"So Mr. RK, what do you want me to do? You won the bet."

RK smiled and placed Maya back down on the bed to play with her toy.

Madhu kept her eyes on RK as he turned to face her with a passionate look. He slowly walked up to Madhu. She remained frozen when suddenly he grabbed her waist and pulled her close.

"RK..." Madhu looked around the room.

"Don't worry, I locked the door."

"But Maya..."

"Biwi, nothing's happening yet, I'm just telling you what I want in place of winning the bet."

Madhu wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled.

"Oh really patidevi? What would you like then?"

"It's been...over six months since...well...I mean, I haven't been able to show you how much I love you and I'm really sor..."

Madhu put her finger to RK's mouth.

"Don't say sorry...I understand. Tonight?"

"Who would you like to give Maya to for tonight?"

"Well, Maya always cheers up ma when she's with her..."

"Perfect. Can you hand her to ma, or should I?"

"I'll take her to ma..."

Madhu spoke in a trance, as she got casted with RK's love spell. RK chuckled and let her go. She picked up Maya.

"Wait!" RK walked towards them.

RK kissed Maya on the forehead.

"Goodnight my beautiful baby girl. I'll see you tomorrow morning."

Madhu smiled and walked out of the room with Maya.

Part Thirteen - The End

Madhu returned to their room and closed the door behind her. RK turned around to see her smiling. She walked towards him.

"I'm so glad you won the bet to be honest."

"And I'm so glad you didn't," RK laughed.

As soon as she reached him, she wrapped her arms around his neck and shyly looked towards the ground.

"Where were we?" RK asked passionately.

He picked her up in his arms and slowly placed her on the bed. He turned off the lights by flicking a switch and then stared at his beautiful wife.

She smiled up at him as he opened her hair and ran his hands through it.

"You're beautiful..."

Madhu blushed and lowered her eyes.

RK bent down and slowly kissed Madhu on the cheek. He kissed her other cheek, her forehead, and her chin. He teased her with his kissed and then finally his lips landed on hers. She ran her hands through his hair as his hands went behind her back. She felt his hands opening her dori as her fingers tightened in his hair and pulled him closer. He kissed her greedily and moaned under the kiss. Once her dori was open, he pulled away from her lips and ran his lips down to her jaw line. Madhu felt her heart racing and butterflies fluttering around in her stomach. His lips moved down her neck and towards her chest. RK sat up for a second and removed Madhu's top with her help; it ended up on the other side of the room. RK went back up and placed his lips upon hers as she began to unbutton his shirt. Once she undid the last button, he slipped off his shirt without leaving her lips. He removed his pants quickly and his underpants as well. He pulled away from the kiss and moved his lips down her body and then removed her bottoms. He undid her undergarments and for the first time in months, they both lay together in their bare skin. They felt pleasure feeling each other's skin against one another. RK went back to her lips and kissed her with full force, and then he pulled away and leaned his forehead against hers as they caught their breath.

"Ready...?" he asked passionately.

"Whenever you are..." she replied softly.

And with that, they were one. To avoid Madhu's screaming, RK placed his lips onto hers again and could feel her wanting to scream beneath their kiss.

RK grabbed their covers and pulled them over the both of them as they made love after months...

3 weeks later...

"RK! MAYA'S CALLING YOU!" Madhu yelled out for him.

"Papa, papa papapapapapa!"

Since Maya had only learnt one word, it was the only word that ever escaped her mouth. She called for her papa day in, day out.

RK came rushing to their room and saw Maya crawling around the ground while calling out for him.

RK went and picked up Maya and held her in the air.

"And what would my baby girl like from me?"

"Papa!"

RK laughed and hugged Maya. He sat on the ground and began to play with her toys as she joined in.

As RK and Maya played together, Madhu suddenly ran to the bathroom.

Minutes later, she walked out slowly. She smiled at RK oddly.

"What happened Madhu?"

"We're having another..." she spoke as she held up the positive pregnancy test.
