From playing a doctor on TV to doing the same off it, Aparna Tilak has done it all. Though the actor isn't a doctor, she often consults her husband with problems that members in the unit of Left Right Left on Set Max come up with. "Recently, a unit member came up to me to ask whether I suggest any treatment for hairloss. And the other day a girl in the unit wanted me to give her a diet that she could follow to lose weight," says Aparna. But why does she have to field such questions? "That's because my husband is a doctor. And when someone asks me something, I call him up to help me out. Now, a lot of the unit members think that I am a doctor like my character in the serial," laughs Aparna.
Aparna recently helped Priyanka Bassi, aka Naina Singh, who complained of pain while shooting for a scene where she had to workout. "When I came on the sets, I saw that she was crying in pain. We took her to the hospital. She was suffering from muscle strain," says Aparna.
And though Aparna has been helping out people in real life, she is looking forward to playing a negative character in Lucky on Star Plus. "They approached me for a positive role, but I really liked the negative one. I have some great stunt scenes in this and I am really looking forward to have people hating me," she says. Aparna says that for any hero to succeed there has to be a villain who's equally good. Aparna says, "But I have never got to play a negative role. I am happy to do one now."
