just random thought...

Just before that scene with Madhu on so called suhagraat in the village, he talks to the old man who offers him to drink but RK hesitates to drink as doctor's advice to abstain from alcohol but only sips a little. I guess he is suffering with some illness maybe liver problem because of over drinking. Further he only drinks when he is in pain. So I think he wants Madhu to move out of his life and make a better start. He is trying to do that by insulting her all the time. He is also hurting himself in the bargain. The bahon ki darmiyan song coaxes him to break things bec in the prime of his youth where he has to enjoy life he is battling with some disease. He does not want to spoil MB''s life and wants her to move on. Fate is not letting this happen. He is still very much concerned abt MB but puts up a fascade by humiliating her.

ok if Rishabh really wanted to take revenge then why didn't he have it with Madhu when she wanted to have it with him? i mean he was a gentleman and said, "nahi madhu shaadi ke baad." so? i think something is brewing in his mind and i honestly think he knows that he loves Madhu. 😊
