Part-22:
At Green Room
Khushi was at the green room...she was getting ready for the stage appearance with Arnav...she was combing her hair...when she heard his voice...
Arnav: So...Wify...
Khushi froze at the place...she didn't know how to react or what to say or how to answer...she just stood there like a statue...looking at mirror but not at Arnav's reflection...
Arnav noticed this...he noticed her uneasiness...her shocked face...her hesitation...and her confusion...he realized that she is still not acquainted with the fact that both of them are married...he saw her freeze standing body...and shook his head with amusement...Arnav came close to her...and hold her wrist which one had the comb...he took he comb...put it on the dressing table...in this whole time he was looking at Khushi...who was just shocked...no other word is suitable to describe her expression on that moment...
And Khushi...she was only thinking what she told to her father just some nights before...that she likes him...she share something more than friendship with him...she wants to be with him...and now...when she is his legally wedded wife...she doesn't know how to behave...
The silence...there was a silence...both of them were short of words...there were some unknown feelings floating around them...the apprehensiveness...the doubt...the fear...the shyness...the pull...both of them were looking at each other through the mirror...when they heard a knock at door...Lavanya peeped in...and gave naughty smirk...
Lavanya: O Ooo...did I disturb you guys?? (with a sheepish smile..)
Arnav and Khushi both glanced at each other through the mirror...and turned to see Lavanya...when Khushi plastered a smile on her face to hide her hesitation...
Khushi: No Lav...come on in..
Lavanya entered...and went to Khushi...when she looked at Arnav who had little smile...but avoiding the the eye contact with the ladies...she sensed that silent tension between them...so she tried to lighten up..
Lavanya: Guys...Its time...You guys will wrap the show up...so come on...
Lavanya said with chirpy voice...and looked at Khushi...
Lavanya: hey babe...are you ready??
Khushi just nodded taking little glances of Arnav looking at Lavanya...Lavanya smiled...
Lavanya: Cool...now lets go...you also have to check the showstopper...
Khushi: yeah...lets go...(with a very low voice..)
The both the girl moved out of the room...
Arnav was rooted at the place where he was...all the while he just staring at Khushi...he was observing her...she is behaving a little weird...well its obvious...they just got married...but still...they are friends...and Khushi doesn't even know anything about his feelings...the feelings he expressed in front of Akash...that he...Arnav Singh Raizada wants her...he wants Khushi Kumari Gupta...and he actually doesn't regret the decision...he doesn't know what he'll do further...how he'll approach to her...but he'll try his level best to make it work...doesn't really matter if its took his whole life...
Arnav's chain of thoughts broke when he heard Akash calling him...he looked around and saw Akash standing at the door...Akash came smiling to him..
Akash: Bhai...what are you doing??
Arnav looked here and there...and ran his hand through his face and hair...he looked at his brother composing himself...
Arnav: Nothing Akash...just a little stressed about the show...
Akash: Really Bhai?? You are stressed about the show?? or Khushi?? (smiling at Arnav with glint of concern in his eyes...)
Arnav: huh? (looked at Akash as if he got caught while cheating..)
Akash: Bhai...you took a decision..which was good for her...actually for both of you...(holding him by his shoulder with one hand...to support his decision..)
Arnav: You really think I didn't make any mistake?? I mean I didn't ruin her life?? (looking at Akash very intently..)
Akash: No Bhai...you are my brother...I know you...you'll make a perfect life partner for her...I also know her...she has a heart of gold...
Arnav: No I don't mean that...I mean..she'll want to stay with me right?? She'll never think of leaving me after the revelation of truth...
Akash: As far as I know Khushi...she trusts you with her life...she understands you without having any word...so you don't have to worry...
Arnav: Hmm...
Akash: Bhai...you don't regret right??
Aranv: Hell No..!! You know that I...(cut by Akash)
Akash: Want her...(with a smirk..)
Arnav smiled..and nodded his head...
Arnav: Lets go...
At Backsatge
Payal and Lavanya was observing Khushi very keenly...they can sense her tension and stress...they saw her smiling with a hesitation in her eyes...as if she was lost some where...she was helping the models...but she was not concentrating on them...she was looking at everyone like these people are any alien...she doesn't know them...
Payal and Lavanya exchanged a concerned look...and sighed...
Lavanya: We should talk...
Payal: Later...let the show end...
Lavanya: But... (cut by Payal)
Payal: Relax Lav...she'll be fine...she is strong enough...and Arnav is there for her...
Just then they heard that husky voice...with a confident tone...
"Yeah...she'll have to be fine...I can't see her like this...", Payal looked at Arnav with supportive smile...when she felt an familiar arm around her shoulder...
Akash: Yeah...everything will be good...
Everone smiled with an assurance...someone called Lavanya and she excused herself...
Payal looked at him with a fake anger...
Akash: What?? (with a confused face..)
Payal: You haven't told me yet...
Akash: Tell you what??
Payal: Akash...the reason...(gesturing at Arnav and Khushi with eyes..)
Akash: Bhai hasn't tell Khushi yet...
Payal: Its their matter...not ours...
Akash was about to say something when Aman came there...
Aman: Again started...(looking at Arnav with a mischievous glint...)
Arnav nodded trying to suppress his smile...
Payal gave Akash an angry stare...and moved from there...
Arnav: Where is Karan?? (looking at both Akash and Aman..)
Akash: Don't know Bhai...haven't seen him...(cut by Aman..)
Aman: Oh..i saw him going outside with Samira...
Arnav: Samira?? Isn't she the show stopper??
Aman: Yeah...
Arnav and Akash looked at each other with wide eyes...Just then they heard Lavanya shouting Arnav's name...
Lavanya came there...calling Arnav and Khushi...all of them gathered...
Arnav: What Lav??
Lavanya was looking at them as if she saw a ghost...
Lavanya: Woh Samira...
Arnav: What??
Khushi: Lav Samira what??
Lavanya: She has left the show...she won't be doing the ramp anymore...
Everyone was shocked...they were looking each other as if asking each other for an instant solution...when they heard a voice...
Karan: What?! (with his wide eyes..looking at them with disbelief...) What are you saying Lavanya?? How could she?? Now what will happen?? This show...Our reputation...AK's reputation...ASR...I am so sorry...I know you inevsted all your money...but...(cut by Akash..)
Akash: Its ok Karan...we can manage...
Karan looked at them with pity on his face...to show his concern for them...
Khushi was watching all these things...she remembered Arnav's word before their marriage about Karan...then she remembered that only 15 minutes left for the show stopper to enter...she looked at Arnav who was just staring at nothing...his vain was visible on his forehead because of his extreme rage...she hold his hand...
Khushi: Arnie...(cut by Arnav..)
Arnav: Get ready Khush...
Khushi got confused...she was still staring at her new husband...
Arnav: You'll be the show stopper...
Everyone looked at him...this was another shock of the day...Khushi will be the show stopper...Payal went to Khushi...she hold her by shoulder to support her...when Khushi removed her hand looking at her sister...and gestured her she was fine...
Khushi: Okay...
Then she shouted.."There is some changes..", and went to change her dress...Payal went to the other side to arrange the entry of Khushi as a show stopper...and Lavanya went with Khushi to help her...
Arnav was looking at nothing...was just standing rooted at his place...when he heard Karan...
Karan: Khushi...how can she be the show stopper?? I mean..she is good...but look ASR...my family is thinking of us to get married...and it doesn't really look good...you know...(but he stopped..)
Arnav signaled him to stop with raising his hand...he then looked at Karan very calmly...composing himself...he said with an authoritativeness...
Arnav: Thanks for your concern...this is strictly professional...so don't get personal...and..AK is mine...so I'll decide what to do...with whom...
Karan looked at him with a silent anger...Arnav just gave smirk...
Arnav: You started the show Karan...I'll end it..!!
** Here is the update..I want to dedicate this update to KIARSHI aka Keerthi...I promised her this update as my birthday treat...So here it is...
