Chapter 11

Manyata woke up really tired. Her head was aching. Her whole body was sore. She looked around and saw uday sleeping peacefully on the sofa. His mouth was open. He must have been really tired. He looked cute.

But what was uday doing in her room?😲

She remembered what happened last night. The way he had behaved when some fellow misbehaved with her he had punched that guy, he really must have some soft corner for her. Was her dream a sort of premonition about their future?

M: uday?

Uday was asleep but her voice woke him up, he looked around first unaware of his surroundings, then he too remembered the last night's events. It brought a smile on his face. There was something fragile and delicate inside manyata outside her hard shell, she created around her. In rare events it did show out, yesterday was one such day. But why did he attack the guy who misbehaved with manyata? Was he in love with her?

WHAT? Love and manyata did not match. No, it was not possible, not because he did not like her, but because her staus was really above him, he could not even dream about it

M: uday?

U: yes manyata, how are you feeling now?

M: better but my whole body is so sore.

U: it would be there for some time. A good hot water bath would do the job. I will get the water ready for your bath

M: its ok uday, I will do it

U: no, you take rest ok, rest well ,we need to reach Mumbai before nightfall

Manyata was not feeling sleepy, so she switched on the TV and keeped a news channel. The headline caught her attention

"24 HR STRIKE TOTAL IN THE COUNTRY"

What? There was a strike and she did not know. It was a flash strike called by Transport Corporation in protest against the rising fuel prices. Sh*t. that means they could not return home today

M: uday, there is a national strike today, that means we are trapped in this place even today

U: oh, now what do we do? We have to wait I think. Maybe it is a good thing. You can take rest today. The water is ready for your bath.

M: that's very kind of you uday. I am really grateful to you

U: you need not thank me. I did not do anything for that

M: but…….

U: no manyata let there be no such formalities between us. I think I should go to my room and get fresh, see you later manyata

Manyata looked at the retreating figure of uday. He brought a smile to her lips nowadays. She was really harsh towards him during her college days now she felt bad about it. She would apologize for it later

Uday got ready and phoned his baba. He informed him that he won't be coming home today because of the strike. Baba was discharged from the hospital last week, he was now fine

B: take care beta, lara is missing you. She did not allow me to sleep last night. She was howling all night

Lara was their one year old German shepherd dog. She loved uday very much and slept with him at night, uday too loved her. She was the most faithful creature he had seen

U: give my love to lara. Even I miss her

Manyata finished her bath, it was truly refreshing. She dressed up and went to uday's room

Uday had finished his call and was watching the news

M: uday don't you want to eat something, its 10 o clock and you did not eat your breakfast, come with me lets go and have breakfast

U: ok manyata I was going to call the room service now. Lets go then

They went to the restaurant on the ground floor and ordered breakfast

They talked for a long time. It was not business but it was 2 friends who had discovered each other after a long time talking

M: let's go outside for supper today. Come to pick me up at 7 pm. It's my treat

U: ok I will, 7 o'clock sharp

Their conversation was interrupted by a tall, lean and a handsome young man of about 26 years old.

Man: can I join you guys?

Manyata looked at the person who had arrived at their table and a smile crept on her lips. She got up and hugged him

M: Arvind! What a pleasant surprise. Man, you have lost weight

A: ah!! So you like it, manyata I missed you like hell. You look bad, what happed, these injuries?

M: I slipped and fell yesterday😕

A: you must be careful, manyata. You act as if you are a small child

M: yes sir

It was when arvind noticed uday, sitting there

M: so who is this young man, your boyfriend? He said accusingly

U: he is my PA, uday, he…

Arvind cut her in between and spoke to uday, his tone was serious

A: excuse me Mr. whatever your name is. if you finished your breakfast leave the place, please😡

Uday was hurt

U: ok sir

Manyata looked at uday leaving. She could not say anything

M: why did you talk to him that way arvind, it was really insulting

A: come on manyata, employees must be given their position which they deserve. A PA does not deserve to sit on the same table with his employer. You should not encourage all these

M: I don't agree with you and don't try to teach me what is right and what is wrong

A: ok am sorry. Will you come with me outside today? There is a lake nearby. We will visit it, please

M: ok

The day passed uneventful for uday, he watched tv and then slept for sometime in the afternoon

He looked at the time, it was 6 30, manyata asked him to meet her at 7. He got ready for it.

He forgave her for the morning's incident

Arvind loved the time he had spent with manyata. He had a secret crush on her. After all she was the heir to the richest riyast in India, and she looked really hot. What a body it was. He wanted to see her now

He entered her room; she had just come from her shower only a towel tied around hr body, water droplets were like buds of honey glistening on her pale skin.

He looked at her hungrily while her eyes showed shock.

He could not control his desires; she looked so tempting, so angelic, and so cute. He pinned her to the wall and started to kiss her neck while she protested, no sound came out of her mouth as she was shocked. He ignored her protests

It was at the same time uday had entered her room, all he saw was manyata and arvind indulge in kissing. Manyata was not even dressed. It was clear like daylight for him. They were making love

Arvind stopped his work to check the intruder. His blood boiled seeing the intruder, this fellow was becoming a big nuisance, he thought

A: can't you knock before coming in. don't you have manners?😡

U: am sorry

A: what? After all this you say sorry. Just leave and give us some privacy please

Uday left the room feeling very bad

Manyata pushed arvind away from her and said in a serious tone

M: leave me arvind. And get lost somewhere. You are so disgusting

A: manyata I am so sorry, I don't know what got into me at that time. Am really sorry

M: I said leave this room now. She said in a firm voice fit for a yuvarani

As arvind left the room, she locked the room and wept

Uday sat on his bed feeling very low

He had exceeded his limits. He was foolish to think manyata had some soft corner for him. he had fallen in love with her and now he saw her in the hands of her lover

How foolish could he be? To believe that she might be in love with her. It was his foolishness. His cell rang. It was his baba

B: beta Lara is really sad, she did not eat anything since morning. I will keep the phone in loudspeaker. Talk to her ok. Lara come here

U: hi Lara darling

Manyata had dressed and went to uday's room to apologize for arvind's behavior. She stopped outside hearing the name Lara. She placed her ears on the door

U: my lara darling it me uday. I know darling am so sorry I said I would come today but you know I am busy with my work. Be a good girl lara, you should eat ok. You have a figure to maintain. I don t want to see you starved when I come back ( bow)

. I love you being that soft. Tomorrow I will cuddle you and sleep ok. ( woof)

Yes I know you won't be able to sleep without me. But only for today. Tomorrow for sure, I will be with you. ( woof woof)

Manyata could not hear anymore. She went to her room and locked herself

Tears started falling from her eyes. Was she too late? So there was another woman in uday's life. A women whom he loved, who shared his bed with him, who wanted to be cuddled by him

He too loved her, he wanted her to be soft, the way he liked it. did she fall in love with him? yes she had, that too unknowingly, but he was already in a relation

There was no way of manveer's relation to exceed the employer- employee relationship. She must not allow it to happen, she need to be the boss from now, manyata though determined
