A week of SSK - disco diwane shines

First of all, even though i couldn't watch the episodes for a week, i didn't see story moving since last time i watched... we are still at the marriage mandap.. I feel like i always complain about it.. the pace with which things are moving i really have trouble with that...

Anyways here are few things that i really liked and that i didnt like at all:

Friday 02/08 :
The disco diwane was pictured so so well.. I think best song picturization i have ever seen in any serial.. I have never gotten drunk so i dont know how it feels but i think it must be something like that they showed.. the transitions between reality and imaginations were so so good.. They holding each other with their fingers.. the steps everything was awesome and the look on Sid's face when he realizes that it isnt roli but naina.. the shattered feelings , everything came out so well.
But then that was it from the episode.. the restlessness that Roli feels all of sudden after sid being away for so many days was a good part but at times it felt over the top and artificial. Then there was this Sid leaving naina in her room and then all of sudden when she tells him I love you, he thinking her as roli.. i couldn't possibly believe that. It was either direction flaw or story flaw. I dont know if they really slept with each other or not but even then this feels like emotional betrayal.. even if it was because sid was drunk. And then it comes to naina.. i cant think of her - the innocent girl to take such a huge step just after confessing not even knowing if he is really thinking straight or not.. so it was out of character for both of them and it killed both the characters in my perspective. I would like to think that never happened but i am sure this is coming back some day so not so excited about that..


For rest of the days - i almost fast forwarded through to see whats going on... and it didnt intrigue me that much... it was all about veeru asking roli to get ready for marriage.. simar roli and mausiji worrying about it, making some random plan.. getting hte papers but not getting it.. Seemed like just a stretch to extend the episodes.. And then there was khushi who is still in there to get her ways.. sid regretting his doing .. and naina --- they have changed her character and i am sad and i dont like it at all.. Her dialogs are lame.. why would she say - i will give you time to adjust to reality... I think overall this whole marriage sequence would have been good if they hadnt stretched it so much.. and there is no going back from what they have done with sid - naina.. :( sad..

And then atlast yesterday Sid came to simar's rescue.. Oh and the fight between khushi and simar was so so lame.. i coulnt even laugh about it... But atleast they are on their way to mandap.. I am yet to watch todays episode but overall i think in this whole week i feel like the only part that impressed me was disco diwane sequence...
