TOI : Shefali and Parag to tie the knot this year

Shefali Jariwala and Parag Tyagi may have been eliminated from a reality dance show but they have their hopes up for the wild card round. They're practising hard and putting together something different for the round.

Says Shefali, "Our elimination came as a shock. I couldn't figure out what went wrong. We were strong contenders but in week 2, I think I expected Parag to pull off a difficult dance form which was wrong on my part. There are other couples who are consistently bad but they're still on the show so I can't understand why we are out."

Sources say the duo is planning to tie the knot soon after the show. Shefali, who describes Parag as "probably the only man in the world who wants to get married soon", says, "He asks me everyday because he's so ready for it but I'm shying away. Marriage is a big commitment and I need to be in the right frame of mind. But yes, this year we will get married. I think I'll end up having this moment of realisation and say 'let's get married tomorrow!'."

Is her divorce from former husband Harmeet Gulzar (of Meet Brothers fame) holding her back? "It took me quite some time to get out of that. I was very young and did all the coping myself," she says. She is sure Parag will make a good husband. "I'm absolutely sure that he's the guy for me. He has so much love to give that you don't have an option but to love him back. He'll make the best husband in the world," she adds with a smile
