Likely... as has been suggested, she is a child prodigy...but if that were the case, one might expect her to be...well...a bit more 'brainy' in her behavior...yet she comes across as well-meaning but meddling and not even able to figure out clues to her father's whereabouts on her own.
Most of her thinking processes - girl-friend for Mr. Khan, James Bond, etc. - are also very juvenile and not the product of a logical mind that has eliminated all other possibilities.
Sher certainly acts like she is at least 22 to 23..she acts older than Nujma and appears to give her advice and suggestions like an older sis.
