Sanjeev walked up to Sumeet : Bhai - aap tho mera yakeen karo ... woh Yuvraajsa hi tha! Unfortunately the servants were not convinced. What would Yuvraaj UdayVeer be doing , staying in a little town of Chittorgarh? , they discussed. It didn't make sense, so they dismissed Sanjeev's finding as a false sighting.

No Roopa Aunty - U can't let her stay here , Shivani squealed. Veer slapped his fore-head and left the kitchen, leaving the 2 ladies alone ; to sort out this matter. Shivani - she'll only be here for a few days ... and she's paid rent for the entire month , replied Roopa Aunty. But Aunty ... THAT'S ENOUGH!!! ,scolded Roopa Aunty. But Shivani was as stubborn as ever, and continued pleading : Aunty - Veer looks exactly like her dead husband ... what if she ... Shivani suddenly stopped talking , became emotional and ran off to her house.
Shivi - what's the matter? , Ajay asked Shivani as she remained in his embrace. Bhai - she's going to take Veer away from me ... I can feel it , Shivani sobbed.

Bhabhisa'- your baby is trying to pull the phone from me ... I think ; she knows that her Mamma is on the line. Unnati placed the phone near the baby's ear and Manyata started talking to her little 1 : Hi Baby ... Mamma misses u lots. Hope you're not troubling Buasa'. Mamma wants u to be a good girl ... will u be a good girl and not worry Unnati Buasa'? The baby made some weird sounds as if she was talking to her mother. Mamma loves you , Princess! Unnati took the phone once more : Bhabhisa - will u be safe where u are? I mean , you're a Yuvraani - u can't be staying just anywhere ... U need to have body-guards around you! Do u want me to send Rajjat or shall I make arrangements with Dad , he'll send over some ... NO UNNATI - STOP FUSSING! Gosh - you're worse than Uday!!! I'm fine and I'm safe. And Rajjat is guarding my baby ... let him be where he is. Unnati eventually agreed and relented. The call ended.

All the members of the MahaSabha were involved in an intense meeting. Manyata is in India ... she's probably in Devgarh this minute. She'll handle it , spoke Giriraj. Oh yes , Yuvraani Manyata ... the same 1 that deserted her riyasat and ran away to God knows where! Maharaj Giriraj , we know that she's your daughter-in-law , but is it wise to put so much blind faith in her ? , asked Prithvi Singh to Giriraj. YES!!!, he replied confidently; she will come through for her riyasat.

He caught hold of Stanley's collar and shook him , but Stanley remained unfazed. Brijraj , nobody ... and I mean NOBODY will discover that all those deaths in Devgarh ... was caused by our mining plant.

Manyata was having difficulty in sleeping. Firstly , because ; she was not in her own bed. Secondly because ; her child did not have her nightly feeding and because of that , Manyata's bosom was overflowing with milk , and that was causing her clothes to dampen. Thirdly ... because of a mystery called "VEER". So many things implied that Veer was Uday but something was not right. She thought about their encounter from earlier that day ... A GUY WHO LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE UDAY , came in front of her ... yet she did not jump for joy ; she did not hug him ; she did not kiss him. Was it because ; deep down in her heart ... she knew , that he WAS NOT UDAY!
But then , so many things indicated that he was her Uday ... the way he talked , the way he laughed ... the fact that he would rather call her by a pet-name , rather than her own name - ALL POINTED TOWARDS VEER BEING UDAY. Not to mention ... he told her favourite dialogue of "HAAN NAI TOH!" Could it all , just be a co-incidence , she pondered. URRGHH! this is so frustrating ... how am I ever gonna know the truth , she complained as she fluffed the pillow for the umpteenth time.
She suddenly heard a sound which disturbed her thoughts. She got up from her bed and peeped outside. She saw Roopa Aunty leaving the house. Where could she be going to at this part of the time? , Manyata wondered as she noticed the time to be 3 o'clock. It seemed as if Roopa Aunty was stealthily moving out of the house ... as if sneakily; in the hope of not being seen. Unfortunately , her attempt failed , because; apart from Manyata - someone else saw her.

Shivani , too; was having a problem , falling off to sleep. She was very worried about Manyata and Veer living under the same roof , together. She stood by her opened window , and took in a couple of deep breaths of the early-morning, crisp breeze ... when she saw Roopa Aunty walking outside with a lantern in her hand and a tray in the other.
Bhai - wake up! , Shivani shook Ajay vigourously. What the hell , Shivi? Bhai , we have to go to Veer's house NOW!!! For what? , he asked irritatedly. Roopa Aunty is gone somewhere. Veer is alone with that Manyata ... she might try something with him, come on ; LET'S GO , she tried to hurry up Ajay , but he wasn't budging from his very comfortable sleeping position. Shivi ... respectable people SLEEP at this hour ... they don't go to check up on their neighbours at this time. Go to bed Shivi ... and get those stupid thoughts out of your head. Shivani did as she was told but wasn't too happy about it.
Manyata quietly turned the door-knob to Veer's room. He looked so cute and adorable whilst sleeping. A few strands of his hair was falling onto his fore-head. She moved nearer to him and removed the hair that was covering his handsome face. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. A slight smile adorned his lips. She started undoing the buttons on the shirt of her pyjamas. Then she removed it. Slowly she pulled down her pants , then her underwear. Once every item of clothing was removed; she slipped herself beneath the comforter and got into bed with Veer. He woke up with a startle when he felt something soft beside him. He smiled when he saw his "angel" so close to him. Both moved in closer , till their lips met. Soon , they were involved in a passionate lip-lock. Veer carefully slipped Manyata below him as he got comfortable on top of her and then they started to ... AAAHHH!!! , Shivani got up screaming. That was the most horrific dream , she ever had.

AAHH! , Veer screamed in fright and Manyata nearly fell off her bed. She rushed to Veer's room , to find him seated on his bed and holding his head. She tapped him on the shoulder and he got surprised to see her rather than his mother. For Veer , this was a daily occurrence ... viewing that horrible nightmare , then waking up in a fright , his mother coming to him and giving him a pain-killer for the head-ache. But this time - his mother was nowhere around and it was Manyata that came to him.
Are u alright? , she asked concerned. He just smiled weakly and nodded , whilst wiping the sweat off his brow. Was it a bad dream ? , Manyata asked again. Yeah ... a recurring 1 , that gives me more questions than answers. She stared at him all confused. Nothing for you to worry about Angel. You can go back to your room. He continued looking at the door expecting his mother to walk in any second. Veer ... Roopa Aunty is gone somewhere. Can I get u anything? She's gone somewhere? Are u kidding me! Yes Veer , she left the house at 3. I was awake , I saw her go! I think she went to conduct a pooja or something. Veer frowned at her. What makes you say that? She had prayer goods in the tray that she was carrying.
Veer was still rubbing his throbbing head , which worried Manyata. Come with me , she took his hand and led him to the kitchen , where she started making ginger-tea for him. Ummm ... what are u doing? I'm making a special blend of tea, that would surely rid you of your head-ache. Angel , please don't go to all that trouble. It's 4 am, you should be sleeping! Don't mind me ... I'll take a pain-killer. I'll be fine! Ssshhh Uday! , she scolded.
Both stared at each other in silence. Manyata quickly rushed off to her room and cried silently into her pillow. Veer wanted to follow her ... he wanted to console her but he decided against it. It was NOT APPROPRIATE for a man to enter a widow's bedroom , he thought as he stood outside her door. He had just turned to walk away , when Manyata opened the door after sensing that he was standing there.
Sorry Veer , that was very rude of me ... I was making tea for you and then I ... No Manyata - don't apologise. I know that I look exactly like your husband and it must be difficult as well as confusing for you , relating to me as a seperate person from Yuvraaj Uday. She nodded and both walked back to the kitchen. Veer stopped her from continuing with the tea ... instead he took out a tub of ice-cream and 2 spoons. Would u rather have it in a seperate bowl or will you ... WE'LL SHARE! , she completed his sentence.
Veer began telling Manyata everything about himself ... well ; everything , THAT HE KNEW. Certain things were finally making sense sense to her when he told her that he's living with amnesia for a year now. Manyata decided then , that the few questions she had left pertaining to Veer's identity ... she'd need to pose that to his mother.

2 Men ran as the guard began sounding his whistle. All the soldiers got alerted and began chasing them. The men exitted through the same way , they entered ... through the barbed-wire fence. A man was waiting for them with a jeep. Jaldi , jaldi ... he screamed to them and they picked up pace. Quickly all got into the jeep and it sped off. Bhai - that was close , said 1 of them. Yeah!!! But did u get it done? , asked the driver. An empty container was shown , the man tilted it upside down. See Bhai - all gone. I put it in the mines drainage system. The driver grinned : Yuvraaj Aditya will be most pleased.

Can I ask you something? Hmmm , answered Manyata who shoved a big spoon of ice-cream in her mouth. Did you love Uday? , Veer asked and Manyata nodded in a YES. How much? With all my heart! Then ... yesterday , when u first saw me - why such a cold reaction? I mean I look exactly like your husband , yet u showed so little emotion. I would've thought that you'd be so excited , that u would embrace me ... maybe even kiss me! Manyata got very serious.
U know what Veer ... throughout my life , more than my brain - I listened to my heart ; and most of the time - I ended up being wrong. When I saw you at the border ... my heart screamed out "UDAY" , but my brain gave out a warning signal. That's why the response , was like that. ... But it was a good thing , because you're Veer , NOT UDAY! , she said while carefully gauging his reaction.
GREAT! The day you decided to listen to your brain instead of your heart ... I LOSE OUT ON A HUG!!! , Veer said cheekily. Manyata raised an eyebrow at him. Are you flirting with me , Mr Mallik? Depends ... IS IT WORKING? , he asked with a naughty glint in his eye. Both burst out laughing. Veer never felt so connected to a woman before ... not even with his supposed girlfriend , Shivani.
