Okay, I'm back!!! So a lot of you loved my last update, hence I'm giving you literally seven updates combined. It's to hard for me to cut and paste, because all of this is super cute (according to my friends 😆). Next update will be after 65 likes and page 85!!! I know it's a lot, but I truly did spend a lot of time on this.
chapter 13
v - "Jeevs I'm leaving, okay? I'll see you hopefully around lunchtime"
j - "Okay, goodluck" she said still half asleep on her bed.
Viren came near her and planted a kiss on her cheek.
v - "Love you. And Zaaine will probably be up in another hour or so okay"
j - "Love you more, and don't worry."
Viren left and Jeevika went back to sleep. Zaaine was still asleep right next to her. He hugged Jeevika the whole night, not leaving her for a minute. Zaaine would usually sleep in his own room on his own bed, but the fact that he didn't see Jeevika a lot the past week made him want to be close with her. Even though Jeevika was still sleepy, she decided to get up and ready before Zaaine. She went to the bathroom to shower up and when she came back Zaaine was still asleep on her bed. She went downstairs to make some coffee for herself to wake her up. She didn't get sleep at all this week, and needed to stay alert. It was almost 7:30 by now so Jeevika went upstairs to get Zaaine up. She walked into her room and saw him all cozy inside the blankets, sleeping directly in the center.
j - "Zaaine, goodmorning"
Zaaine moved around the bed but couldn't open his eyes.
j - "Come on Zaaine, its time to get up now"
z - "Whyy? Me sleep more"
j - "I know you want to. But come on get up and let's go take a bath"
z - "Please mommy"
j - "Okay five more minutes" she said sitting on the bed right next to him.
Zaaine got up and hugged Jeevika and then took the blanket to cover both of them. He just wanted to lay down in her arms and sleep.
z - "Mommy, you work today?"
j - "No, I'm going to be with Zaaine today. Full day, whatever Zaaine wants to do"
z - "Really?" he said getting up in excitement.
j - "Yeah, but Zaaine is lazy right now. He wants to sleep"
z - "Nooo, noo more"
j - "Okay, then lets go get ready then"
Zaaine got up from his bed and he held Jeevika's hand walking into his room. Jeevika got his clothes out and then they went to his bathroom. He brushed his teeth with the help of Jeevika and then she helped him take a bath.
z - "Mommy, me cold"
j - "I know, I'll put your jacket on. What do you want to eat?"
z - "coffee"
j - "No, no coffee right now. Zaaine had a cookie yesterday right"
z - "Me no finish"
j - "Why?"
z - "Cause me angry"
j - "And why was Zaaine angry yesterday?"
z - "Cause mommy no talk or see me"
j - "It's because I was working"
z - "Whyyy"
j - "Because I was helping little babies like Zaaine get better. They were sick"
z - "So you were giving soup like daa gives me when me sick"
j - "Yup. I was giving them soup and medicines"
z - "Why their daa no give them soup?"
j - "Zaaine you ask too many questions. Let's go downstairs now"
Zaaine held Jeevika's hand and they both walked downstairs. He sat in his little table and chair waiting to be given his breakfast. Jeevika warmed up his milk and gave him a piece of toast. He finished drinking his milk, but didn't want to eat more of the toast. So he just left the plate there and went back to the kitchen and hugged Jeevika's leg.
j - "Are you done Zaaine?" she said looking over at his plate.
z - "Yesss"
j - "But you didn't finish your food"
z - "Me no more hungry"
Jeevika picked him up and went to get his toast. She made him take a bite.
z - "No more mommy"
j - "Two more bites"
z - "Okay fine"
He finished his two other bites and then got all excited.
z - "Mommy wheres daa?"
j - "He's at work. He will come home soon"
z - "How soon?"
j - "Soon Zaaine. How about we go to the park? Do you want to go on the slides and swings"
z - "Yesss, let's gooo" he said running to the door.
j - "What about your shoes?"
z - "ooopsiesss" he said hitting his forhead.
Zaaine ran to find his shoes. He brought them back to the family room where Jeevika was on her phone.
z - "Mommy help"
j - "Zaaine hold on baby"
j - "Shoot, I need to get to the hospital right now. Let me call Manvi and ask if she can take care of Zaaine" she said to herself
Jeevika calls Manvi.
j - "Manvi, I'm sorry for this, but is it possible for you to take care of Zaaine for a few hours? I need to rush to the hospital and Viren is at court for another few hours"
m - "Yeah sure. You get ready, Virat and I will come pick him up"
j - "Thank you soo much Manvi"
m - "No problem"
j - "Zaaine baby, listen I have to go to the hospital"
z - "Whyyy mommy?"
j - "Someone is really really sick"
z - "Me come with you?"
j - "No, Zaaine will get sick then."
z - "Mommy get sick too..."
j - "Mommy will be fine"
z - "Mommy what bout swings? and slides"
j - "Sorry Zaaine. We will go soon, promise"
Zaaine was upset and Jeevika didn't even notice as she was running around grabbing her stuff and changing into her scrubs. Zaaine just sat on the sofa waiting for something. Just then Virat and Manvi were here and they rung the doorbell. Jeevika quickly opened the door.
v - "Hey!!"
j - "Sorry for this, but I've texted Viren and he should be home in 3 hours or so"
m - "No probs. Where is Zaaine?"
j - "He's over there" Jeevika pointed.
Zaaine wasn't there anymore and Jeevika was going check on him but her pager beeped again.
m - "Don't worry we will go get him. I'll get the car seat and lock the hosue dont owrry. I have my key"
j - "thank you sooo much!" she said running out of the house.
Virat and Manvi went inside and went upstairs to find Zaaine.
v - "Manvi I wonder where Zaaine is" he said real loudly so Zaaine could hear him
m - "I know Virat. I was going to ask Zaaine if he wants to play my new game with me" she said as they were standing outside his room.
Zaaine was again sitting in the corner with his legs crossed and his arms as well.
v - "oh my god manvi, is that Zaaine over there?"
m - "Nooo, I dont think so"
z - "I am Zaaine" he said standing up.
v - "Wow I didn't know Zaaine got soo big?"
z - "me big now" he said sitting back down on the ground
m - "Why is Zaaine so mad?"
z - "Me want to go on slides and swings. Mommy promised"
m - "Really? Even I want to go. Virat let's go walk to the park with Zaaine"
v - "Okay, but Zaaine will you push me on the swings?"
z - "Noo" he said laughing
m - "Okay, lets get your jacket"
They got ready, locked the house, and headed out towards the park. It was around 10:30 in the morning. Zaaine was really happy on the swings with Virat and Manvi pushing him and helping him get down the slides. He laughed and was feeling better. Just then Virat's phone started ringing and it was Viren.
viren - "Hey Virat, sorry for today"
virat - "No prob. We're having a lot of fun with Zaaine"
v - "Where are you guys? I'm just about to leave from here in 20 minutes"
virat - "We are at the park near your house. Zaaine wanted to go on the swings"
v - "Okay, I'll come right there"
virat - "Cool see you"
virat - "Viren is coming here"
m - "okay. Look Zaaine is so happy again"
virat - "I know"
Viren came after sometime. He started walking towards Manvi and Virat. Zaaine saw him and ran towards Viren. Viren bent down and picked him up.
v - "Hi Zaaine, how are you?"
z - "Fine. How was work daa"
v - "It was good. Thanks for asking" he said giving him a kiss.
v - "Thank you guys so much!"
m - "Haha no problem. We weren't doing anything anyways"
v - "Let's go home, if you guys are free"
virat - "Okay, but we'll leave in a bit. We're going house-hunting soon"
viren - "House-hunting huh? Sounds fun" they said as they started walking home
m - "Its a pain, hate it so much"
They got home and went inside. Virat and Manvi didn't come though, they left from outside only.
z - "Daa, water please"
Viren poured a glass of water for Zaaine and then had a glass himself.
v - "Zaaine do you want to watch Elmo? I need to finish some work out. And then we will go out for lunch"
z - "Nooo, me wana sit with daa"
v - "Please. Just for one hour"
Viren went to turn the tv on and made Zaaine sit on the couch while he went inside the office downstairs. Zaaine was really upset again as no one was giving him attention. He didn't even want to watch Elmo in the first place. As Viren was inside Zaaine turned the tv off and just lay down on the sofa looking around. He looked at all the pictures around the house, from his baby picture to a picture of his parents. There was a small picture frame on the side table of Zaaine with his parents. He picked it up and kept looking at it while he lay down. His eyes were slowly shutting even though he wasn't that sleepy. He had nothing else to do though so he spread out his little legs and kept the picture frame near his heart and dozed off. Viren came out after an hour and noticed it being all quiet. Then he saw Zaaine asleep on the couch.
v - "Zaaine are you feeling okay" he asked thinking if he was getting sick
Viren then noticed him holding the picture frame. He removed it and put it back on the table so it wouldn't break.
v - "Are you still sleepy Zaaine" he said sitting on the sofa and taking him in his lap.
Zaaine just slightly nodded and went back to sleep on Viren. Viren just let him rest for a bit as he was texting Jeevika. Jeevika was going to be free soon so they decided to go out for lunch together.
v - "Zaaine, do you want to eat pizza?" he asked trying to get him up
He rubbed his eyes and then finally looked at Viren and just hugged him, not saying anything.
v - "Are you feeling okay Zaaine?"
z - "daa you leave me alone and mommy too"
v - "I'm sorry Zaaine, I had to finish my work"
z - "Mommy promise full day she with me"
v - "I know, its okay we will go see mommy now okay. How about we go see the birds at the lake. Do you want to go?"
z - "Okay"
Viren quickly changed as Zaaine waited for him on the bed.
v - "Ready Zaaine?"
z - "Daa me cold. Me no feeling well"
v - "You're feeling sick?" he said checking his forhead.
v - "You don't have a fever Zaaine. Is your throat hurting?"
Zaaine just rubbed his eyes again and put his head down.
Viren was confused with what was going on. He hoped Zaaine wasn't sick, but looking him like that freaked him out.
v - "How about I make you soup. We will stay at home, and lets get you changed into your nightsuit"
Zaaine walked to his room with Viren and changed into his nightsuit even though it was around noon. Viren didn't want to take him out in case he was getting sick. He carried him downstairs onto the sofa and covered him up with his "Cars" blanket. That was his favorite movie and he had seen it a dozen of times. Viren put the movie on for him as he went to the kitchen to make him soup. He came back and sat right next to him, giving him some soup..
z - "Daa, mommy say she give soup to sick people"
v - "Yeah, she helps them feel better"
z - "Why she no feed me"
Just then a lightbulb switched on in Viren's mind. He understood why Zaaine was saying he's not feeling well so he could get Jeevika to come and spend time with him. He just looked at Zaaine who was waiting for answer.
v - "I'll tell mommy to feed you soup later okay. Now take a sip from me please"
Zaaine was obedient and respectful, so he took a sip from his dad. Jeevika called him and he was still making Zaaine drink soup.
j - "Hey, where do you want to meet?"
v - "Just come home?"
j - "Why what happened?"
Viren got up and went to the kitchen to talk to Jeevika.
v - "Zaaine is I think either feeling sick or pretending to be to get your attention. He was complaining about not feeling well so just come home right now. I'll order something"
j - "Oh gosh did you check if he has a fever? Or is his throat hurting? He easily gets a sore throat"
v - "He doesn't have a fever, and I don't think his throat is hurting. He's just upset I think because you left, and then when I came back I had some important stuff to do"
j - "Okay I'll come home and check him. I'm already on my way, be there in 5 minutes"
v - "Okay"
v - "Zaaine guess what, mommy is coming home"
z - "Mommy"
v - "Yeah"
Viren went back to the sofa and sat with Zaaine and they both watched Cars together. Jeevika came in from the garage and went directly to Zaaine.
j - "Zaaine are you okay? Are you feeling sick?"
He just hugged his mommy.
j - "What's wrong Zaaine? Okay open your mouth is your throat hurting?" she said trying to check him
z - "Mommy feed me soup"
Viren handed her the bowl of soup and she started feeding Zaaine. Viren tucked him up inside the blanket and Jeevika fed him sip by sip. This is all he wanted, to be with both his parents.
v - "Jeevs what do you want to eat?"
j - "Let's just warm something up. We can go out tonight and hopefully Zaaine will feel better"
z - "Mommy me done"
j - "You sure, is your tummy full?"
z - "Yes"
Jeevika got up to go to the kitchen, but Zaaine held her top.
z - "Mommy where you going"
j - "I'm just going to the kitchen Zaaine, you sit here with Daddy okay"
z - "Noo, mommy please"
j - "Okay fine come with me then" she said picking him up.
The three of them went to the kitchen and Zaaine was sitting on the counter. Both Viren and Jeevika were cooking lunch.
j - "How was your meeting this morning?"
v - "It was okay. Have the same meeting again next week"
They finished cooking and were sitting at the table eating.
j - "Zaaine you want some bread?"
z - "no"
viren - "Zaaine are you feeling better"
z - "Daa, me have water please"
v - "Here..."
j - "Viren why don't you go rest for a bit. I'll sit here with him. Anyways you've had a long day"
v - "No its okay, I'm fine"
j - "Zaaine how about we go read your new book upstairs.
z - "okay mommy"
j - "You know Viren, I think he's defintely going to be a lawyer just like you"
v - "And why do you say that?"
j - "Have you heard this little guys questions before. He needs an answer for everything"
v - "His favorite is why everything?"
z - "Mommy me read book"
j - "Okay lets go. You go with Da and I'll come in ten minutes okay" she said getting him out of his high chair
Zaaine ran over to Viren and held his hand.
z - "Let's go daaa" he said pushing him towards the stairs
v - "Okay okay, hold on one minute. Let me quickly grab something from the office"
Viren got his laptop then walked upstairs with Zaaine. Zaaine went to his room while Viren went to his. Zaaine looked around finding his anmal picture book. He finally found it under the bed, so he bent down to get it out and when he got back up he hit his head with the bed. Zaaine started crying and Jeevika and Viren both ran to his room.
v - "What happened Zaaine?" he said picking him up
z - "Bed hit me" he said crying real loudly.
j - "Aww its okay. Let me kiss it, it will feel better"
Zaaine stopped crying slowly. Viren gave him a kiss on his cheek and then the three of them went inside the bedroom. Zaaine sat in the middle again with his book while Jeevika and Viren sat next to him. Viren turned the tv on and the both of them were watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S while Zaaine was looking through his book. Zaaine loved animals, especially dogs so when he came upon one really cute picture he was trying to show Viren.
z - "Daa look doggy" he said in excitement
Zaaine looked at Viren and he had fallen asleep. Zaaine started poking Viren trying to wake him up.
j - "Zaaine don't wake Da up, he's tired"
z - "Daa is tired?"
j - "Yeah, he's very tired. Let him sleep"
z - "Mommy me pat daa to sleep?"
j - "Yeah you can pat daa to sleep"
Zaine lay down facing Viren and patted his head just the way Viren did when he would put Zaaine to sleep. He then gave Viren a kiss and continued patting him. Jeevika smiled looking at her two favorite guys. After a while Zaaine stopped patting Viren and just hugged him. Jeevika put her arm around the both of them and gave Zaaine a big kiss.
z - "Mommy"
j - "Yes Zaaine"
z - "Me want to see birdies and doggy"
j - "Okay we will ask daddy tonight to take us"
z - "Okay mommy" he said giving her a kiss on her cheek.
Viren woke up from his little nap.
v - "When did I fall asleep?"
z - "Daa me pat your head cause you tired"
Jeevika and Viren smiled.
j - "Viren, Zaaine was putting you to sleep like you make him sleep every night"
v - "Thank you Zaaine. Can I get a kiss please"
Zaaine gave his dad a kiss.
z - "I love you daa"
v - "I love you too Zaaine"
z - "Daa me wanna see birdies and doggies"
v - "Okay we will go see today. Jeevs I was thinking, do you want to go for dinner with the gang tonight? We haven't hung out in a while"
j - "Yeah, I'll message Zoya and Manvi"
v - "Okay. We will go see birdies and doggies and then we'll go for dinner"
Zaaine started clapping and laughing. Viren started tickling him then seeing him with such excitement.
z - "Daa stoppp" he said not being able to control his laughter.
j - "Viren they said yes, so 7 PM at Maggiano's"
v - "Italian? whose idea what that?"
j - "Pregnant Zoya's. She's been wanting that this whole week and Karan has been on call everyday. Don't ask she's worst that me"
v - "Worst that you? You were pretty bad. You're kind of hard to beat" he said smiling and testing Jeevika's anger.
j - "Excuse me Viren Vadhera. Not once did I make you go out at midnight to grab me any food or any dessert. I was always stuck in the hospital, and had to overcome my cravings with yucky and bland hospital foods"
Viren snuggled up to Jeevika holding her tightly and kissed her hair.
v - "I was just joking. You actually didn't have many moodswings as I thought you would either. I feel like you have more moodswings when you're not pregnant"
j - "Is that a compliment or an insult"
v - "Both" he said laughing
j - "You jerk"
z - "Mommy me hungry"
j - "Tell daa, he will get your milk"
z - "daa, milk please"
v - "Okay, I'll go get your milk. Jeevs get ready, lets go to the lake and then we can walk around Downtown area and go to the dog store"
j - "Viren even I want to be pampered, you always pamper Zaaine. You don't love me anymore"
v - "And the moodswings begin" he said slowly to himself and laughing
Jeevika heard him and threw the pillow at Viren.
z - "Mommy why hit daa?" he asked in a confused way
v - "Yeah Jeevika, why hit me?"
j - "Daa is mean to me Zaaine. He hurt my feelings"
z - "Mommy want hug? You feel better" he said crawling towards her. Jeevika opened her arms to her loving son. She and Viren felt so blessed to have the most perfect and adorable son in this world.
j - "Thank you for your hug Zaaine. I'm feeling better now"
z - "Welcome mommy"
v - "Zaaine can I have a tight hug?"
z - "okay daa" he said crawling towards the end of the bed where Viren was standing. He gave him a tight hug.
v - "I'm going to kidnap Zaaine now, Jeevika. You go get ready and me and Zaaine are going downstairs"
Zaaine started giggling.
z - "daa me sit on back"
v - "Okay hop on" he said as Zaaine got on Viren's back.
Jeevika went to go get ready and freshen up. She decided to wear this new top she bought. It was really sexy and it was black, which she loved wearing. She wore her skinny jeans, and found a cute pair of shoes.
j - "Viren I'm ready. Get ready"
v - "Coming" he yelled from downstairs.
Viren and Zaaine came up after a few minutes. Viren put Zaaine down on the bed who was drinking his milk.
v - "Someone's looking smoking hot today"
j - "Really?"
Viren walked towards Jeevika who was standing in the bathroom and put his hands around her waist.
v - "You're looking beautiful"
Jeevika gave him a small, yet romantic kiss and said "Thank You"
v - "What should I wear?"
j - "mmm wear that new sweatshirt, you look very sexy in that"
v - "Ohhh really? I thought I looked sexy in everything"
j - "How cocky Viren. I'm going make Zaaine change, get ready fast"
v - "Can I have another kiss please"
Jeevika just smirked and went in for a long kiss. Viren took charge and showed her how much he loved and missed kissing her.
v - "Okay now let me get ready Jeevs, why are you always after romancing me" he said laughing
j - "Ohhh so I'm after you huh? Fine I had a surprise for you tonight, but not anymore"
v - "OHH SHOOT! Nevermind I never said anything. So whats this surpsie all about?"
j - "I was thinking maybe a nice romantic night with candles and roses when Zaaine goes to sleep"
v - "I have a better idea, lets send Zaaine with the four idiots and give them his responsibilty. We will go with your plan" he said coming closer to her.
j - "Shamless Vadhera. I'm very hungry, and your son wants to go see animals. Get going"
v - "Whyyy, let me hold my wifey for sometime"
Just then Zaaine walks into the bathroom.
z - "Daa me finish milk"
v - "Good boy, go to your room and we are coming in two minutes"
z - "No me stay with da and mommy"
v - "Zaaine is a good boy right?"
z - "Okay fine" he said running to his room.
j - "My goodness you kicked your son out of here to romance with me"
v - "I just needed a moment with my sexy wife"
j - "I'm glad atleast you still think I'm sexy"
v - "Sexxy, you're sooo damn sexy."
j - "You think so? You don't think I'm fat, I mean I'm so much bigger than what I used to be before I got pregnant"
v - "Fat? you've lost it. You look even hotter than the first time I met you"
Jeevika was happy that Viren thought that, so she went to give him a kiss. Viren slowly moved him hand behind her back. He slowly started proceeding towards the wall, pushing Jeevika back while kissing her firmly. She unzipped his sweatshirt, while he started pulling up her top. Viren removed his shirt and pushed Jeevika towards the bathroom counter. They kept making out, not remembering anything but each other. They were so into each other that they totally forgot about Zaaine too. After sometime, they broke away from each other and just smiled. It had been a long time, since they had been that intimate.
j - "Zaaine is waiting, get ready fast"
v - "All your fault. You help me get ready now" he said smiling
j - "Shutup Viren" she said walking back out and to Zaaine's room.
j - "Zaaine, lets get your clothes out"
z - "Mommy me tired"
j - "Why Zaaine? You slept so much today. You took almost two naps"
z - "Me tired mommy" he said hugging her leg.
j - "Is your throat hurting Zaaine?"
z - "No, mommy hug me please"
j - "Okay come here"
She picked him up and hugged him while she sat on his bed.
v - "Jeevs where are you?"
j - "Viren come in Zaaine's room"
Viren came after a minute.
v - "What's wrong? Why isn't he dressed yet? Is he okay?"
j - "I don't know, he's just saying mommy hug me and that he's tired"
v - "Here give him to me"
Jeevika handed Zaaine to Viren.
v - "What's wrong Zaaine?"
z - "Daa"
v - "Yeah Zaaine"
z - "Me sleep in your arms?"
v - "No more sleeping. You've been sleeping all day. Come on don't you want to see the birdies and the puppy?"
z - "No"
v - "Why not?"
z - "Me no want to"
v - "Yes you do! Come on, I'll buy you ice cream. Jeevika get Zaaine's clothes out fast"
Jeevika walked towards the closet and removed a pair of clothes for Zaaine.
v - "Do you want to go to the bathroom?"
Zaaine nodded yes. Viren took him to the bathroom and then he came running back to Jeevika. She put on his clothes and Viren helped put his shoes on.
v - "Ready to go Zaaine?"
z - "Daa, you pick me"
v - "No Zaaine is going to walk downstairs by himself"
z - "Please Daa"
v - "Nope. Come on hold my hand. Let's walk together"
z - "Mommy you pick me"
v - "Zaaine, walk downstairs by yourself. No one is carrying you. Come on Jeevika let's go down"
Zaaine started crying and Jeevika couldn't see him like that.
j - "Viren just take him down. Look he's crying now"
v - "Jeevika, stop spoiling him. He can't have his way everytime. Go downstairs, I'll bring him down"
Jeevika just listened to Viren and walked out even though he was still crying. He just sat down on the ground and covered his face with his t-shirt.
v - "Zaaine let's go downstairs"
Zaaine didn't listen.
v - "Okay, me and mommy are waiting downstairs. If you don't come fast we won't go get to see the birdies or puppies"
Viren went downstairs and saw Jeevika packing a bag for Zaaine. They always kept extra clothes and food for him no matter where they went.
j - "Where is he?"
v - "Upstairs"
j - "Viren did you leave him crying up there?"
v - "He'll be fine. He's being too moody today Jeevika"
j - "Viren, how can you just leave him like that. He's probably feeling so neglected right now"
v - "Calm down. He'll come down in a few minutes. Let him cool off"
j - "I don't get why he's acting so strange"
v - "I know, he never complains about being tired. He even took two naps today. Is he maybe getting sick in real?"
j - "Let's go check"
They both went upstairs and went inside Zaaine's room. He was laying down on the bed looking and holding at his teddy bear. He still had tears coming out slowly, but was crying loudly like before.
j - "He goes from happy to sad to happy and again sad. Let's just take him Viren. Maybe he'll feel nice going out"
Viren went near Zaaine and picked him up. Zaaine held onto his teddy bear while Viren carried him down to the car. He put him in his car seat in the back and gave him his teddy which he hung onto. Jeevika sat in the fron next to Viren. Viren started the car and exited the garage. Jeevika turned on the CD which had all of Zaaine's favorites, especially the elmo song. Zaaine would usually get happy listening to it, that he would start singing along, but today wasn't the case. He just stared at his teddy.
j - "Still bad mood"
v - "This habit he learned must have been from you"
j - "Really Viren? You want to go there right now. I'm so irritated with what's wrong with him, and you're making it worst" she said angrily
v - "Okay okay sorry"
j - "Zaaine look there's a doggy right there in that car"
Zaaine just rubbed his eyes and then looked at the doggy. He put his head back at closed his eyes.
j - "Viren, I'm really getting worried now"
v - "Its okay jeevs, maybe he's just having a bad day. Calm down"
They soon reached the downtown area and Viren took Zaaine out of his carseat. He walked up to Jeevika holding her leg and just looking into her eyes. He knew if he said anything Viren would get mad at him. Jeevika understood and picked him up. They walked around the small stores and then came across the pet store. They entered and went all the way in the back. Zaaine use to giggle looking at all the puppies, but today he wasn't. Jeevika asked one of the workers if she could hold a puppy so Zaaine could pet him. They handed her a small cute little yorky and she kneeled down next to Zaaine. Viren made Zaaine pat the cute and adorbale puppy gently.
z - "Mommy we want puppy"
j -"We can't buy him yet Zaaine"
z - "Whyy mommy?"
j - "He's too small. He's a little baby and he needs his mommy"
z - "Like me need my mommy"
j - "Yup, like you need your mommy"
Jeevika handed the puppy back and then she cleaned Zaaine's hand with hand sanitizer. They left the dog store and walked around for a while. Zaaine was still not that happy. He just lay his head on Jeevika's shoulder and closed his eyes after a while.
j - "Viren let's leave from here now. I think he's getting hungry also"
v - "Okay"
They walked to the car with Zaaine who still had his eyes closed. Jeevika put him in the back and sat behind with him. Viren drove to the restaurant and went inside to make a reservation while Jeevika waited in the car. Just then Zoya called on Jeevika's cell.
zoya - "Jeevs where are you?"
j - "Come to Viren's car. We've parked on the right corner. Viren's gona inside to make a reservation"
zoya - "Okay coming"
Zoya walked over to the car and opened the door.
zoya - "Hi, whats going on. How's my little Zaaine doing?"
j - "Don't ask"
zoya - "Why whats wrong she said getting inside the car and sitting besides Jeevika
j - "He's been very moody and cranky today. Don't know whats wrong, he keeps saying he's tired and he took a nap twice today. He was upset that I had to go on call for a few hours today because I was supposed to spend the day with him. Then he kept complainng of not feeling well. He threw a fit before coming, and started crying because he didn't want to come downatairs by himself. He wants to be held the whole time"
zoya - "Jeevs its probaby just because you've been really busy this week. He's starting to understand things and he's just trying to get your attention"
j - "I know, but Viren just would't let me hold on when leaving home. He kept saying he'll get fine on his own"
zoya - "Yeah, but Zaaine doesn't ever do this. I mean he never bugs you with anything, maybe he's just missing you a lot right now"
Viren came to the car and told Jeevika and Zoya that the table was ready. Viren picked up Zaaine's and locked the car.
z - "Mommy" he kept saying wanting to go to Jeevika.
j - "Come here"
Zaaine closed his eyes again after Jeevika held him tightly close to her. They walked inside and saw Virat, Manvi, Karan, and Viren waiting for the three of them. They got a table and all sat down. Viren requested for a high-chair for Zaaine, but Zaaine refused to sit in it. He just wanted to sit in Jeevika's lap.
m - "What happened to him?"
v - "Just being a little baby today"
Zaaine heard that and just held Jeevika tighter.
j - "Viren stop it"
m - "Zaaine did you tell mommy how we went on the swings today. And then the both of us went down on the slide together"
Zaaine just slightly nodded no.
Soon enough their food came, and Viren tried taking Zaaine and putting him in his chair so Jeevika could eat but Zaaine started whining.
j - "It's okay, I'll hold him"
v - "You won't be able to eat properly"
j - "Its fine, I will"
They all ate their dinner and Jeevika tried feeding Zaaine some too. He took small bites from her and then stopped eating. She got his bottle out and gave that to him so he wouldn't be hungry as they all ate. Zaaine slowly fell asleep on Jeevika. They all finished their dinner after sometime and were getting ready to leave the restaurant.
karan - "You guys wanna go for a walk around Downtown?"
virat - "Yeah lets go"
Everyone got in their respective cars and drove to Downtown.
j - "Viren, Zaaine didn't even eat much."
v - "He had his milk and he had some bread. He doesn't eat much at night anyways"
j - "Yeah but today also all he had was soup. I really do think he's getting sick Viren"
v - "Is he still asleep?"
j - "Yeah"
Viren parked the car and then took the stroller out of the trunk. Jeevika picked Zaaine up and placed him inside the stroller and covered him up with his blanket. They all walked around and enjoyed the cool breeze. They all were hanging out after the longest time. Everyone was so busy with their lives. Karan and Zoya were getting ready for their first baby while Manvi and Virat were enjoying their newly married life. The girls found an ice cream place and creeped inside. Virat, Viren, and Karan just looked at each and sighed. It was funny how these girls had such a huge appetite and were always ready for dessert. The three guys entered and asked their respective others what they wanted.
viren - "How do you still have room for dessert? Jeez Jeevs"
j - "Shutup Viren. Let's share the godiva special brownie sundae, plz"
v - "That has chocolate ice cream on top of a chocolate brownie. Too much chocolate, get something else"
j - "Get whatever you want, I'm getting that"
All three guys went to go get dessert for their wives. They came back to the table and started eating. Zaaine was still sound asleep. Zoya was starting to feel tired now so they all decided to leave. Everyone hugged each other bye and then went home. Viren carried Zaaine upstairs to his room and tucked him in bed. Jeevika had already changed him in the car. Viren put his teddy bear on the side and covered him up securely in his blanket making sure he wouldn't feel cold. Jeevika was in her room changing. When she came outside the bathroom she saw Viren lighting up candles.
j - "Someone is very eager for a romantic night"
v - "Obviously. It hasn't been you and me alone in such a long time. I miss you soo much"
j - "I miss you to" she said walking over to him and hugging him.
He hugged her tighter, protecting her. He then picked her up and took her on the bed going on top of her. It was hard for both of them to control their desires now. All they wanted to do was kiss each other and thats exactly what they did. Jeevika held onto Viren backs tightly, just securing and making sure he was hers. Just as Jeevika was moving to get more comfortable they heard a knock on the door.
j - "Viren it must be Zaaine. Go open the door"
Viren got up from the bed and it indeed was Zaaine. He was standing outside the door with his teddy bear and his cars blanket.
Viren kneeled know - "Whats wrong Zaaine"
z - "Me sleep with mommy"
v- "But Zaaine big boy. Big boys sleep in their room. Come on let's go to your room"
Zaaine dropped his blanket and teddy and ran to Jeevika's side wanting her to pick him up. She picked him up and made him sit on her lap.
z - "Mommy me sleep with you. Please mommy" he said hiding his face and hugging her.
j - "Okay fine Zaaine"
v - "Jeevs you need to make him sleep in his own room. He's going to get in a habbit of this. He slept here last night also, and today if he sleeps here he won't ever sleep in his room"
j - "Viren, you saw how he was all day. Both of us left him and he felt so alone. He just wants to be comforted"
v - "Jeevika he was with us the rest of the day. He was alone just for a few hours. We took him out also today. There's no excuses for him sleeping here"
j - "Viren you know he behaves well. There must be something wrong thats why he's here. Just please let him sleep here now"
Viren was irritated with Jeevika so he just went to the bathroom and changed. He came back and saw Jeevika patting Zaaine to asleep on the bed. Viren went on the bed and lay down on his side and closed his eyes. Jeevika knew Viren was upset, and she was too because she was craving for some alone time with him. But at the same time she felt bad for neglecting Zaaine all week long. Zaaine was sound asleep and Jeevika lay back down too turning off the lamp.
j - "Okay, goodluck" she said still half asleep on her bed.
Viren came near her and planted a kiss on her cheek.
v - "Love you. And Zaaine will probably be up in another hour or so okay"
j - "Love you more, and don't worry."
Viren left and Jeevika went back to sleep. Zaaine was still asleep right next to her. He hugged Jeevika the whole night, not leaving her for a minute. Zaaine would usually sleep in his own room on his own bed, but the fact that he didn't see Jeevika a lot the past week made him want to be close with her. Even though Jeevika was still sleepy, she decided to get up and ready before Zaaine. She went to the bathroom to shower up and when she came back Zaaine was still asleep on her bed. She went downstairs to make some coffee for herself to wake her up. She didn't get sleep at all this week, and needed to stay alert. It was almost 7:30 by now so Jeevika went upstairs to get Zaaine up. She walked into her room and saw him all cozy inside the blankets, sleeping directly in the center.
j - "Zaaine, goodmorning"
Zaaine moved around the bed but couldn't open his eyes.
j - "Come on Zaaine, its time to get up now"
z - "Whyy? Me sleep more"
j - "I know you want to. But come on get up and let's go take a bath"
z - "Please mommy"
j - "Okay five more minutes" she said sitting on the bed right next to him.
Zaaine got up and hugged Jeevika and then took the blanket to cover both of them. He just wanted to lay down in her arms and sleep.
z - "Mommy, you work today?"
j - "No, I'm going to be with Zaaine today. Full day, whatever Zaaine wants to do"
z - "Really?" he said getting up in excitement.
j - "Yeah, but Zaaine is lazy right now. He wants to sleep"
z - "Nooo, noo more"
j - "Okay, then lets go get ready then"
Zaaine got up from his bed and he held Jeevika's hand walking into his room. Jeevika got his clothes out and then they went to his bathroom. He brushed his teeth with the help of Jeevika and then she helped him take a bath.
z - "Mommy, me cold"
j - "I know, I'll put your jacket on. What do you want to eat?"
z - "coffee"
j - "No, no coffee right now. Zaaine had a cookie yesterday right"
z - "Me no finish"
j - "Why?"
z - "Cause me angry"
j - "And why was Zaaine angry yesterday?"
z - "Cause mommy no talk or see me"
j - "It's because I was working"
z - "Whyyy"
j - "Because I was helping little babies like Zaaine get better. They were sick"
z - "So you were giving soup like daa gives me when me sick"
j - "Yup. I was giving them soup and medicines"
z - "Why their daa no give them soup?"
j - "Zaaine you ask too many questions. Let's go downstairs now"
Zaaine held Jeevika's hand and they both walked downstairs. He sat in his little table and chair waiting to be given his breakfast. Jeevika warmed up his milk and gave him a piece of toast. He finished drinking his milk, but didn't want to eat more of the toast. So he just left the plate there and went back to the kitchen and hugged Jeevika's leg.
j - "Are you done Zaaine?" she said looking over at his plate.
z - "Yesss"
j - "But you didn't finish your food"
z - "Me no more hungry"
Jeevika picked him up and went to get his toast. She made him take a bite.
z - "No more mommy"
j - "Two more bites"
z - "Okay fine"
He finished his two other bites and then got all excited.
z - "Mommy wheres daa?"
j - "He's at work. He will come home soon"
z - "How soon?"
j - "Soon Zaaine. How about we go to the park? Do you want to go on the slides and swings"
z - "Yesss, let's gooo" he said running to the door.
j - "What about your shoes?"
z - "ooopsiesss" he said hitting his forhead.
Zaaine ran to find his shoes. He brought them back to the family room where Jeevika was on her phone.
z - "Mommy help"
j - "Zaaine hold on baby"
j - "Shoot, I need to get to the hospital right now. Let me call Manvi and ask if she can take care of Zaaine" she said to herself
Jeevika calls Manvi.
j - "Manvi, I'm sorry for this, but is it possible for you to take care of Zaaine for a few hours? I need to rush to the hospital and Viren is at court for another few hours"
m - "Yeah sure. You get ready, Virat and I will come pick him up"
j - "Thank you soo much Manvi"
m - "No problem"
j - "Zaaine baby, listen I have to go to the hospital"
z - "Whyyy mommy?"
j - "Someone is really really sick"
z - "Me come with you?"
j - "No, Zaaine will get sick then."
z - "Mommy get sick too..."
j - "Mommy will be fine"
z - "Mommy what bout swings? and slides"
j - "Sorry Zaaine. We will go soon, promise"
Zaaine was upset and Jeevika didn't even notice as she was running around grabbing her stuff and changing into her scrubs. Zaaine just sat on the sofa waiting for something. Just then Virat and Manvi were here and they rung the doorbell. Jeevika quickly opened the door.
v - "Hey!!"
j - "Sorry for this, but I've texted Viren and he should be home in 3 hours or so"
m - "No probs. Where is Zaaine?"
j - "He's over there" Jeevika pointed.
Zaaine wasn't there anymore and Jeevika was going check on him but her pager beeped again.
m - "Don't worry we will go get him. I'll get the car seat and lock the hosue dont owrry. I have my key"
j - "thank you sooo much!" she said running out of the house.
Virat and Manvi went inside and went upstairs to find Zaaine.
v - "Manvi I wonder where Zaaine is" he said real loudly so Zaaine could hear him
m - "I know Virat. I was going to ask Zaaine if he wants to play my new game with me" she said as they were standing outside his room.
Zaaine was again sitting in the corner with his legs crossed and his arms as well.
v - "oh my god manvi, is that Zaaine over there?"
m - "Nooo, I dont think so"
z - "I am Zaaine" he said standing up.
v - "Wow I didn't know Zaaine got soo big?"
z - "me big now" he said sitting back down on the ground
m - "Why is Zaaine so mad?"
z - "Me want to go on slides and swings. Mommy promised"
m - "Really? Even I want to go. Virat let's go walk to the park with Zaaine"
v - "Okay, but Zaaine will you push me on the swings?"
z - "Noo" he said laughing
m - "Okay, lets get your jacket"
They got ready, locked the house, and headed out towards the park. It was around 10:30 in the morning. Zaaine was really happy on the swings with Virat and Manvi pushing him and helping him get down the slides. He laughed and was feeling better. Just then Virat's phone started ringing and it was Viren.
viren - "Hey Virat, sorry for today"
virat - "No prob. We're having a lot of fun with Zaaine"
v - "Where are you guys? I'm just about to leave from here in 20 minutes"
virat - "We are at the park near your house. Zaaine wanted to go on the swings"
v - "Okay, I'll come right there"
virat - "Cool see you"
virat - "Viren is coming here"
m - "okay. Look Zaaine is so happy again"
virat - "I know"
Viren came after sometime. He started walking towards Manvi and Virat. Zaaine saw him and ran towards Viren. Viren bent down and picked him up.
v - "Hi Zaaine, how are you?"
z - "Fine. How was work daa"
v - "It was good. Thanks for asking" he said giving him a kiss.
v - "Thank you guys so much!"
m - "Haha no problem. We weren't doing anything anyways"
v - "Let's go home, if you guys are free"
virat - "Okay, but we'll leave in a bit. We're going house-hunting soon"
viren - "House-hunting huh? Sounds fun" they said as they started walking home
m - "Its a pain, hate it so much"
They got home and went inside. Virat and Manvi didn't come though, they left from outside only.
z - "Daa, water please"
Viren poured a glass of water for Zaaine and then had a glass himself.
v - "Zaaine do you want to watch Elmo? I need to finish some work out. And then we will go out for lunch"
z - "Nooo, me wana sit with daa"
v - "Please. Just for one hour"
Viren went to turn the tv on and made Zaaine sit on the couch while he went inside the office downstairs. Zaaine was really upset again as no one was giving him attention. He didn't even want to watch Elmo in the first place. As Viren was inside Zaaine turned the tv off and just lay down on the sofa looking around. He looked at all the pictures around the house, from his baby picture to a picture of his parents. There was a small picture frame on the side table of Zaaine with his parents. He picked it up and kept looking at it while he lay down. His eyes were slowly shutting even though he wasn't that sleepy. He had nothing else to do though so he spread out his little legs and kept the picture frame near his heart and dozed off. Viren came out after an hour and noticed it being all quiet. Then he saw Zaaine asleep on the couch.
v - "Zaaine are you feeling okay" he asked thinking if he was getting sick
Viren then noticed him holding the picture frame. He removed it and put it back on the table so it wouldn't break.
v - "Are you still sleepy Zaaine" he said sitting on the sofa and taking him in his lap.
Zaaine just slightly nodded and went back to sleep on Viren. Viren just let him rest for a bit as he was texting Jeevika. Jeevika was going to be free soon so they decided to go out for lunch together.
v - "Zaaine, do you want to eat pizza?" he asked trying to get him up
He rubbed his eyes and then finally looked at Viren and just hugged him, not saying anything.
v - "Are you feeling okay Zaaine?"
z - "daa you leave me alone and mommy too"
v - "I'm sorry Zaaine, I had to finish my work"
z - "Mommy promise full day she with me"
v - "I know, its okay we will go see mommy now okay. How about we go see the birds at the lake. Do you want to go?"
z - "Okay"
Viren quickly changed as Zaaine waited for him on the bed.
v - "Ready Zaaine?"
z - "Daa me cold. Me no feeling well"
v - "You're feeling sick?" he said checking his forhead.
v - "You don't have a fever Zaaine. Is your throat hurting?"
Zaaine just rubbed his eyes again and put his head down.
Viren was confused with what was going on. He hoped Zaaine wasn't sick, but looking him like that freaked him out.
v - "How about I make you soup. We will stay at home, and lets get you changed into your nightsuit"
Zaaine walked to his room with Viren and changed into his nightsuit even though it was around noon. Viren didn't want to take him out in case he was getting sick. He carried him downstairs onto the sofa and covered him up with his "Cars" blanket. That was his favorite movie and he had seen it a dozen of times. Viren put the movie on for him as he went to the kitchen to make him soup. He came back and sat right next to him, giving him some soup..
z - "Daa, mommy say she give soup to sick people"
v - "Yeah, she helps them feel better"
z - "Why she no feed me"
Just then a lightbulb switched on in Viren's mind. He understood why Zaaine was saying he's not feeling well so he could get Jeevika to come and spend time with him. He just looked at Zaaine who was waiting for answer.
v - "I'll tell mommy to feed you soup later okay. Now take a sip from me please"
Zaaine was obedient and respectful, so he took a sip from his dad. Jeevika called him and he was still making Zaaine drink soup.
j - "Hey, where do you want to meet?"
v - "Just come home?"
j - "Why what happened?"
Viren got up and went to the kitchen to talk to Jeevika.
v - "Zaaine is I think either feeling sick or pretending to be to get your attention. He was complaining about not feeling well so just come home right now. I'll order something"
j - "Oh gosh did you check if he has a fever? Or is his throat hurting? He easily gets a sore throat"
v - "He doesn't have a fever, and I don't think his throat is hurting. He's just upset I think because you left, and then when I came back I had some important stuff to do"
j - "Okay I'll come home and check him. I'm already on my way, be there in 5 minutes"
v - "Okay"
v - "Zaaine guess what, mommy is coming home"
z - "Mommy"
v - "Yeah"
Viren went back to the sofa and sat with Zaaine and they both watched Cars together. Jeevika came in from the garage and went directly to Zaaine.
j - "Zaaine are you okay? Are you feeling sick?"
He just hugged his mommy.
j - "What's wrong Zaaine? Okay open your mouth is your throat hurting?" she said trying to check him
z - "Mommy feed me soup"
Viren handed her the bowl of soup and she started feeding Zaaine. Viren tucked him up inside the blanket and Jeevika fed him sip by sip. This is all he wanted, to be with both his parents.
v - "Jeevs what do you want to eat?"
j - "Let's just warm something up. We can go out tonight and hopefully Zaaine will feel better"
z - "Mommy me done"
j - "You sure, is your tummy full?"
z - "Yes"
Jeevika got up to go to the kitchen, but Zaaine held her top.
z - "Mommy where you going"
j - "I'm just going to the kitchen Zaaine, you sit here with Daddy okay"
z - "Noo, mommy please"
j - "Okay fine come with me then" she said picking him up.
The three of them went to the kitchen and Zaaine was sitting on the counter. Both Viren and Jeevika were cooking lunch.
j - "How was your meeting this morning?"
v - "It was okay. Have the same meeting again next week"
They finished cooking and were sitting at the table eating.
j - "Zaaine you want some bread?"
z - "no"
viren - "Zaaine are you feeling better"
z - "Daa, me have water please"
v - "Here..."
j - "Viren why don't you go rest for a bit. I'll sit here with him. Anyways you've had a long day"
v - "No its okay, I'm fine"
j - "Zaaine how about we go read your new book upstairs.
z - "okay mommy"
j - "You know Viren, I think he's defintely going to be a lawyer just like you"
v - "And why do you say that?"
j - "Have you heard this little guys questions before. He needs an answer for everything"
v - "His favorite is why everything?"
z - "Mommy me read book"
j - "Okay lets go. You go with Da and I'll come in ten minutes okay" she said getting him out of his high chair
Zaaine ran over to Viren and held his hand.
z - "Let's go daaa" he said pushing him towards the stairs
v - "Okay okay, hold on one minute. Let me quickly grab something from the office"
Viren got his laptop then walked upstairs with Zaaine. Zaaine went to his room while Viren went to his. Zaaine looked around finding his anmal picture book. He finally found it under the bed, so he bent down to get it out and when he got back up he hit his head with the bed. Zaaine started crying and Jeevika and Viren both ran to his room.
v - "What happened Zaaine?" he said picking him up
z - "Bed hit me" he said crying real loudly.
j - "Aww its okay. Let me kiss it, it will feel better"
Zaaine stopped crying slowly. Viren gave him a kiss on his cheek and then the three of them went inside the bedroom. Zaaine sat in the middle again with his book while Jeevika and Viren sat next to him. Viren turned the tv on and the both of them were watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S while Zaaine was looking through his book. Zaaine loved animals, especially dogs so when he came upon one really cute picture he was trying to show Viren.
z - "Daa look doggy" he said in excitement
Zaaine looked at Viren and he had fallen asleep. Zaaine started poking Viren trying to wake him up.
j - "Zaaine don't wake Da up, he's tired"
z - "Daa is tired?"
j - "Yeah, he's very tired. Let him sleep"
z - "Mommy me pat daa to sleep?"
j - "Yeah you can pat daa to sleep"
Zaine lay down facing Viren and patted his head just the way Viren did when he would put Zaaine to sleep. He then gave Viren a kiss and continued patting him. Jeevika smiled looking at her two favorite guys. After a while Zaaine stopped patting Viren and just hugged him. Jeevika put her arm around the both of them and gave Zaaine a big kiss.
z - "Mommy"
j - "Yes Zaaine"
z - "Me want to see birdies and doggy"
j - "Okay we will ask daddy tonight to take us"
z - "Okay mommy" he said giving her a kiss on her cheek.
Viren woke up from his little nap.
v - "When did I fall asleep?"
z - "Daa me pat your head cause you tired"
Jeevika and Viren smiled.
j - "Viren, Zaaine was putting you to sleep like you make him sleep every night"
v - "Thank you Zaaine. Can I get a kiss please"
Zaaine gave his dad a kiss.
z - "I love you daa"
v - "I love you too Zaaine"
z - "Daa me wanna see birdies and doggies"
v - "Okay we will go see today. Jeevs I was thinking, do you want to go for dinner with the gang tonight? We haven't hung out in a while"
j - "Yeah, I'll message Zoya and Manvi"
v - "Okay. We will go see birdies and doggies and then we'll go for dinner"
Zaaine started clapping and laughing. Viren started tickling him then seeing him with such excitement.
z - "Daa stoppp" he said not being able to control his laughter.
j - "Viren they said yes, so 7 PM at Maggiano's"
v - "Italian? whose idea what that?"
j - "Pregnant Zoya's. She's been wanting that this whole week and Karan has been on call everyday. Don't ask she's worst that me"
v - "Worst that you? You were pretty bad. You're kind of hard to beat" he said smiling and testing Jeevika's anger.
j - "Excuse me Viren Vadhera. Not once did I make you go out at midnight to grab me any food or any dessert. I was always stuck in the hospital, and had to overcome my cravings with yucky and bland hospital foods"
Viren snuggled up to Jeevika holding her tightly and kissed her hair.
v - "I was just joking. You actually didn't have many moodswings as I thought you would either. I feel like you have more moodswings when you're not pregnant"
j - "Is that a compliment or an insult"
v - "Both" he said laughing
j - "You jerk"
z - "Mommy me hungry"
j - "Tell daa, he will get your milk"
z - "daa, milk please"
v - "Okay, I'll go get your milk. Jeevs get ready, lets go to the lake and then we can walk around Downtown area and go to the dog store"
j - "Viren even I want to be pampered, you always pamper Zaaine. You don't love me anymore"
v - "And the moodswings begin" he said slowly to himself and laughing
Jeevika heard him and threw the pillow at Viren.
z - "Mommy why hit daa?" he asked in a confused way
v - "Yeah Jeevika, why hit me?"
j - "Daa is mean to me Zaaine. He hurt my feelings"
z - "Mommy want hug? You feel better" he said crawling towards her. Jeevika opened her arms to her loving son. She and Viren felt so blessed to have the most perfect and adorable son in this world.
j - "Thank you for your hug Zaaine. I'm feeling better now"
z - "Welcome mommy"
v - "Zaaine can I have a tight hug?"
z - "okay daa" he said crawling towards the end of the bed where Viren was standing. He gave him a tight hug.
v - "I'm going to kidnap Zaaine now, Jeevika. You go get ready and me and Zaaine are going downstairs"
Zaaine started giggling.
z - "daa me sit on back"
v - "Okay hop on" he said as Zaaine got on Viren's back.
Jeevika went to go get ready and freshen up. She decided to wear this new top she bought. It was really sexy and it was black, which she loved wearing. She wore her skinny jeans, and found a cute pair of shoes.
j - "Viren I'm ready. Get ready"
v - "Coming" he yelled from downstairs.
Viren and Zaaine came up after a few minutes. Viren put Zaaine down on the bed who was drinking his milk.
v - "Someone's looking smoking hot today"
j - "Really?"
Viren walked towards Jeevika who was standing in the bathroom and put his hands around her waist.
v - "You're looking beautiful"
Jeevika gave him a small, yet romantic kiss and said "Thank You"
v - "What should I wear?"
j - "mmm wear that new sweatshirt, you look very sexy in that"
v - "Ohhh really? I thought I looked sexy in everything"
j - "How cocky Viren. I'm going make Zaaine change, get ready fast"
v - "Can I have another kiss please"
Jeevika just smirked and went in for a long kiss. Viren took charge and showed her how much he loved and missed kissing her.
v - "Okay now let me get ready Jeevs, why are you always after romancing me" he said laughing
j - "Ohhh so I'm after you huh? Fine I had a surprise for you tonight, but not anymore"
v - "OHH SHOOT! Nevermind I never said anything. So whats this surpsie all about?"
j - "I was thinking maybe a nice romantic night with candles and roses when Zaaine goes to sleep"
v - "I have a better idea, lets send Zaaine with the four idiots and give them his responsibilty. We will go with your plan" he said coming closer to her.
j - "Shamless Vadhera. I'm very hungry, and your son wants to go see animals. Get going"
v - "Whyyy, let me hold my wifey for sometime"
Just then Zaaine walks into the bathroom.
z - "Daa me finish milk"
v - "Good boy, go to your room and we are coming in two minutes"
z - "No me stay with da and mommy"
v - "Zaaine is a good boy right?"
z - "Okay fine" he said running to his room.
j - "My goodness you kicked your son out of here to romance with me"
v - "I just needed a moment with my sexy wife"
j - "I'm glad atleast you still think I'm sexy"
v - "Sexxy, you're sooo damn sexy."
j - "You think so? You don't think I'm fat, I mean I'm so much bigger than what I used to be before I got pregnant"
v - "Fat? you've lost it. You look even hotter than the first time I met you"
Jeevika was happy that Viren thought that, so she went to give him a kiss. Viren slowly moved him hand behind her back. He slowly started proceeding towards the wall, pushing Jeevika back while kissing her firmly. She unzipped his sweatshirt, while he started pulling up her top. Viren removed his shirt and pushed Jeevika towards the bathroom counter. They kept making out, not remembering anything but each other. They were so into each other that they totally forgot about Zaaine too. After sometime, they broke away from each other and just smiled. It had been a long time, since they had been that intimate.
j - "Zaaine is waiting, get ready fast"
v - "All your fault. You help me get ready now" he said smiling
j - "Shutup Viren" she said walking back out and to Zaaine's room.
j - "Zaaine, lets get your clothes out"
z - "Mommy me tired"
j - "Why Zaaine? You slept so much today. You took almost two naps"
z - "Me tired mommy" he said hugging her leg.
j - "Is your throat hurting Zaaine?"
z - "No, mommy hug me please"
j - "Okay come here"
She picked him up and hugged him while she sat on his bed.
v - "Jeevs where are you?"
j - "Viren come in Zaaine's room"
Viren came after a minute.
v - "What's wrong? Why isn't he dressed yet? Is he okay?"
j - "I don't know, he's just saying mommy hug me and that he's tired"
v - "Here give him to me"
Jeevika handed Zaaine to Viren.
v - "What's wrong Zaaine?"
z - "Daa"
v - "Yeah Zaaine"
z - "Me sleep in your arms?"
v - "No more sleeping. You've been sleeping all day. Come on don't you want to see the birdies and the puppy?"
z - "No"
v - "Why not?"
z - "Me no want to"
v - "Yes you do! Come on, I'll buy you ice cream. Jeevika get Zaaine's clothes out fast"
Jeevika walked towards the closet and removed a pair of clothes for Zaaine.
v - "Do you want to go to the bathroom?"
Zaaine nodded yes. Viren took him to the bathroom and then he came running back to Jeevika. She put on his clothes and Viren helped put his shoes on.
v - "Ready to go Zaaine?"
z - "Daa, you pick me"
v - "No Zaaine is going to walk downstairs by himself"
z - "Please Daa"
v - "Nope. Come on hold my hand. Let's walk together"
z - "Mommy you pick me"
v - "Zaaine, walk downstairs by yourself. No one is carrying you. Come on Jeevika let's go down"
Zaaine started crying and Jeevika couldn't see him like that.
j - "Viren just take him down. Look he's crying now"
v - "Jeevika, stop spoiling him. He can't have his way everytime. Go downstairs, I'll bring him down"
Jeevika just listened to Viren and walked out even though he was still crying. He just sat down on the ground and covered his face with his t-shirt.
v - "Zaaine let's go downstairs"
Zaaine didn't listen.
v - "Okay, me and mommy are waiting downstairs. If you don't come fast we won't go get to see the birdies or puppies"
Viren went downstairs and saw Jeevika packing a bag for Zaaine. They always kept extra clothes and food for him no matter where they went.
j - "Where is he?"
v - "Upstairs"
j - "Viren did you leave him crying up there?"
v - "He'll be fine. He's being too moody today Jeevika"
j - "Viren, how can you just leave him like that. He's probably feeling so neglected right now"
v - "Calm down. He'll come down in a few minutes. Let him cool off"
j - "I don't get why he's acting so strange"
v - "I know, he never complains about being tired. He even took two naps today. Is he maybe getting sick in real?"
j - "Let's go check"
They both went upstairs and went inside Zaaine's room. He was laying down on the bed looking and holding at his teddy bear. He still had tears coming out slowly, but was crying loudly like before.
j - "He goes from happy to sad to happy and again sad. Let's just take him Viren. Maybe he'll feel nice going out"
Viren went near Zaaine and picked him up. Zaaine held onto his teddy bear while Viren carried him down to the car. He put him in his car seat in the back and gave him his teddy which he hung onto. Jeevika sat in the fron next to Viren. Viren started the car and exited the garage. Jeevika turned on the CD which had all of Zaaine's favorites, especially the elmo song. Zaaine would usually get happy listening to it, that he would start singing along, but today wasn't the case. He just stared at his teddy.
j - "Still bad mood"
v - "This habit he learned must have been from you"
j - "Really Viren? You want to go there right now. I'm so irritated with what's wrong with him, and you're making it worst" she said angrily
v - "Okay okay sorry"
j - "Zaaine look there's a doggy right there in that car"
Zaaine just rubbed his eyes and then looked at the doggy. He put his head back at closed his eyes.
j - "Viren, I'm really getting worried now"
v - "Its okay jeevs, maybe he's just having a bad day. Calm down"
They soon reached the downtown area and Viren took Zaaine out of his carseat. He walked up to Jeevika holding her leg and just looking into her eyes. He knew if he said anything Viren would get mad at him. Jeevika understood and picked him up. They walked around the small stores and then came across the pet store. They entered and went all the way in the back. Zaaine use to giggle looking at all the puppies, but today he wasn't. Jeevika asked one of the workers if she could hold a puppy so Zaaine could pet him. They handed her a small cute little yorky and she kneeled down next to Zaaine. Viren made Zaaine pat the cute and adorbale puppy gently.
z - "Mommy we want puppy"
j -"We can't buy him yet Zaaine"
z - "Whyy mommy?"
j - "He's too small. He's a little baby and he needs his mommy"
z - "Like me need my mommy"
j - "Yup, like you need your mommy"
Jeevika handed the puppy back and then she cleaned Zaaine's hand with hand sanitizer. They left the dog store and walked around for a while. Zaaine was still not that happy. He just lay his head on Jeevika's shoulder and closed his eyes after a while.
j - "Viren let's leave from here now. I think he's getting hungry also"
v - "Okay"
They walked to the car with Zaaine who still had his eyes closed. Jeevika put him in the back and sat behind with him. Viren drove to the restaurant and went inside to make a reservation while Jeevika waited in the car. Just then Zoya called on Jeevika's cell.
zoya - "Jeevs where are you?"
j - "Come to Viren's car. We've parked on the right corner. Viren's gona inside to make a reservation"
zoya - "Okay coming"
Zoya walked over to the car and opened the door.
zoya - "Hi, whats going on. How's my little Zaaine doing?"
j - "Don't ask"
zoya - "Why whats wrong she said getting inside the car and sitting besides Jeevika
j - "He's been very moody and cranky today. Don't know whats wrong, he keeps saying he's tired and he took a nap twice today. He was upset that I had to go on call for a few hours today because I was supposed to spend the day with him. Then he kept complainng of not feeling well. He threw a fit before coming, and started crying because he didn't want to come downatairs by himself. He wants to be held the whole time"
zoya - "Jeevs its probaby just because you've been really busy this week. He's starting to understand things and he's just trying to get your attention"
j - "I know, but Viren just would't let me hold on when leaving home. He kept saying he'll get fine on his own"
zoya - "Yeah, but Zaaine doesn't ever do this. I mean he never bugs you with anything, maybe he's just missing you a lot right now"
Viren came to the car and told Jeevika and Zoya that the table was ready. Viren picked up Zaaine's and locked the car.
z - "Mommy" he kept saying wanting to go to Jeevika.
j - "Come here"
Zaaine closed his eyes again after Jeevika held him tightly close to her. They walked inside and saw Virat, Manvi, Karan, and Viren waiting for the three of them. They got a table and all sat down. Viren requested for a high-chair for Zaaine, but Zaaine refused to sit in it. He just wanted to sit in Jeevika's lap.
m - "What happened to him?"
v - "Just being a little baby today"
Zaaine heard that and just held Jeevika tighter.
j - "Viren stop it"
m - "Zaaine did you tell mommy how we went on the swings today. And then the both of us went down on the slide together"
Zaaine just slightly nodded no.
Soon enough their food came, and Viren tried taking Zaaine and putting him in his chair so Jeevika could eat but Zaaine started whining.
j - "It's okay, I'll hold him"
v - "You won't be able to eat properly"
j - "Its fine, I will"
They all ate their dinner and Jeevika tried feeding Zaaine some too. He took small bites from her and then stopped eating. She got his bottle out and gave that to him so he wouldn't be hungry as they all ate. Zaaine slowly fell asleep on Jeevika. They all finished their dinner after sometime and were getting ready to leave the restaurant.
karan - "You guys wanna go for a walk around Downtown?"
virat - "Yeah lets go"
Everyone got in their respective cars and drove to Downtown.
j - "Viren, Zaaine didn't even eat much."
v - "He had his milk and he had some bread. He doesn't eat much at night anyways"
j - "Yeah but today also all he had was soup. I really do think he's getting sick Viren"
v - "Is he still asleep?"
j - "Yeah"
Viren parked the car and then took the stroller out of the trunk. Jeevika picked Zaaine up and placed him inside the stroller and covered him up with his blanket. They all walked around and enjoyed the cool breeze. They all were hanging out after the longest time. Everyone was so busy with their lives. Karan and Zoya were getting ready for their first baby while Manvi and Virat were enjoying their newly married life. The girls found an ice cream place and creeped inside. Virat, Viren, and Karan just looked at each and sighed. It was funny how these girls had such a huge appetite and were always ready for dessert. The three guys entered and asked their respective others what they wanted.
viren - "How do you still have room for dessert? Jeez Jeevs"
j - "Shutup Viren. Let's share the godiva special brownie sundae, plz"
v - "That has chocolate ice cream on top of a chocolate brownie. Too much chocolate, get something else"
j - "Get whatever you want, I'm getting that"
All three guys went to go get dessert for their wives. They came back to the table and started eating. Zaaine was still sound asleep. Zoya was starting to feel tired now so they all decided to leave. Everyone hugged each other bye and then went home. Viren carried Zaaine upstairs to his room and tucked him in bed. Jeevika had already changed him in the car. Viren put his teddy bear on the side and covered him up securely in his blanket making sure he wouldn't feel cold. Jeevika was in her room changing. When she came outside the bathroom she saw Viren lighting up candles.
j - "Someone is very eager for a romantic night"
v - "Obviously. It hasn't been you and me alone in such a long time. I miss you soo much"
j - "I miss you to" she said walking over to him and hugging him.
He hugged her tighter, protecting her. He then picked her up and took her on the bed going on top of her. It was hard for both of them to control their desires now. All they wanted to do was kiss each other and thats exactly what they did. Jeevika held onto Viren backs tightly, just securing and making sure he was hers. Just as Jeevika was moving to get more comfortable they heard a knock on the door.
j - "Viren it must be Zaaine. Go open the door"
Viren got up from the bed and it indeed was Zaaine. He was standing outside the door with his teddy bear and his cars blanket.
Viren kneeled know - "Whats wrong Zaaine"
z - "Me sleep with mommy"
v- "But Zaaine big boy. Big boys sleep in their room. Come on let's go to your room"
Zaaine dropped his blanket and teddy and ran to Jeevika's side wanting her to pick him up. She picked him up and made him sit on her lap.
z - "Mommy me sleep with you. Please mommy" he said hiding his face and hugging her.
j - "Okay fine Zaaine"
v - "Jeevs you need to make him sleep in his own room. He's going to get in a habbit of this. He slept here last night also, and today if he sleeps here he won't ever sleep in his room"
j - "Viren, you saw how he was all day. Both of us left him and he felt so alone. He just wants to be comforted"
v - "Jeevika he was with us the rest of the day. He was alone just for a few hours. We took him out also today. There's no excuses for him sleeping here"
j - "Viren you know he behaves well. There must be something wrong thats why he's here. Just please let him sleep here now"
Viren was irritated with Jeevika so he just went to the bathroom and changed. He came back and saw Jeevika patting Zaaine to asleep on the bed. Viren went on the bed and lay down on his side and closed his eyes. Jeevika knew Viren was upset, and she was too because she was craving for some alone time with him. But at the same time she felt bad for neglecting Zaaine all week long. Zaaine was sound asleep and Jeevika lay back down too turning off the lamp.
