IWY PART 92 & DILBAR DILPAR (DD) Chapter 1

Sorry guys for such a long wait. Thank you to everyone who has been ever so patient. A warm welcome to me new readers.🤗

Part 92

Sitting inside her doctor's surgery she began biting her nails. A thousand thoughts crossed her mind. *What if she has an illness which is obscuring her from getting pregnant? What if she is never able to conceive again? What if..?*

She looked up and began mumbling to her Devi Maiyya.

"Devi Maiyya please kuch aur wajah na ho..muje bahut darr lag raha hain" (Please let there be no other reason, I am scared)

The speaker called out her name. "Mrs Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada please"

She got up with a jerk and stumbled a few steps and made her way to the room she had to attend. As she entered she looked around and saw a fat lady sitting on a chair.

"Please come in" she said formerly.

Khushi came and sat down across her writing table and gulped.

"Okay Mrs Raizada what is the problem?"

"Ummm doctor I want to have another baby but I can't seem to conceive...and I am getting worried because I want a baby as soon as possible...so I would like to get myself checked as to find out the problem which is causing me to not get pregnant".

"Okay you seem healthy to me and your weight is definitely not the issue! So I do think we should run some tests...okay you need to give some blood tests and get an abdominal scan done too...here is the times you can go to the hospital to get your tests done and after a week make an appointment to see me".

She nodded her head and took the paperwork from her. She was afraid of what the tests would reveal but she needed to find out. At least it would give her inner peace.

Sitting on his laptop he was working away on his new project which was going to launch RA designs in a new light.

"Sir can I come in?" asked Aman nervously.

"Mmm" he mumbled still engrossed on his laptop.

"Sir...ummmhhh we have found out that Sonu is blackmailing your clients to stop working with you...but your clients have refused to budge and instead have filed FIR on him".

Hearing Sonu's name he slammed his laptop and gave his 100 % attention to Aman.

"He is something isn't he? No shame in him after what he done to Anjali...what about his drug business any proof on that?"

"I am working on that but we will nab him soon".

"Good I want him to rot in jail...that's where he deserves to be".

"Don't worry sir I know what he has done to you and still is doing to you but we will make sure this time he goes away for a very long time".

He nodded his head and began answering his mobile.

Khushi returned home looking glum. Aryan was being a handful too.

"Aryan please be patient I am getting you your ice cream na?"

But the young lad was not having any of it.

"I want it now! Please mum!"

Seeing him jumping up and down she quickly went into the kitchen and began putting him two scoops of ice cream.

"Here you are, happy?"

"Yayyy!"

Taking the bowl out of her hand he ran towards the living room to watch his cartoons.

She let out a sigh. Khushi was feeling relieved that now he would let her have some peace so she could think. She had given her blood test and got her scan done. Now she had to wait a week so she and Arnav could find out what is causing them to not conceive a baby.

The phone began ringing and picked it up.

"Hi Khushi it's me Geet!"

"Yeh I did recognise your voice!" she said sarcastically.

"Very funny! Khushi how did your appointment go?"

"Don't ask! Doctor said that I need to get some tests done so they can establish what is wrong with me..if there is anything"

"Then?"

"Then what I went to hospital and gave a blood test and got my scan done".

"Khushi that's good, don't worry hopefully all will be fine...but if it isn't at least you will find out and then get treated".

She made a sullen face.

"I suppose but I'm really scared...I don't know why but I hate going to the doctors and hospital".

"Yeh but Khushi it's got to be done".

She nodded her head and tried to push her worries aside.

"Anyway how is dadima, Maan and especially Aleisha?"

"They are all fine...hmmm Aleisha she is a handful but she is our jaan...keeps us up most of the night...and don't ask you should see Maan how cranky he gets due to lack of asleep.."

Both burst out laughing.

"I know...when we have our baby I wonder how Laad Governor will be...that would be a sight to watch...anyway come round some time...make sure you bring dadima..I really miss her".

"Will do...anyway Khushi give my love to Aryan...I better be off Aleisha's woken up...take care yeh?"

"Bye".

Khushi turned around and saw her son standing with the ice cream bowl. His mouth was all dripping with melted ice cream.

"Aryan what have you done? All your clothes are dirty now...come here let me wash your hands and face".

Once she had washed her mouth and hands she picked him up and took him upstairs. As she entered his room she chose his clothes and began changing him.

"Aryan why do you make more work for me...just look at you...don't you care about your mum?"

For some silly odd reason she was blowing Aryan's antics out of proportion. As she was feeling emotional she began welling up. Cupping his mum's face he made a sad face.

"I'm sorry mum I was getting bored...I haven't got a brother to play with have I?"

Seeing her son innocently say it she hugged him and began sobbing.

"I'm sorry beta, it's not your fault I just got a lot on my mind".

She pulled herself together and moisturised his face.

"Now you look good...what shall we make today? What would you like to eat?"

"uhhh chips and fishfingers!!"

He raised his arms up in excitement.

"No need for that"

Mother and son looked behind them and found Arnav had returned from work. Aryan jumped off the bed and ran towards his dad.

"Dad your backkk!"

"Yes I am buddy...back to my son...you know buddy we will go Legoland to play and then eat out..how does that sound?"

"Wickeddd!"

He hugged his son and looked at his wife.

"Uh Khushi you get ready as well..."

"Arnav I need to talk to you..."

"Ya we will when Aryan is playing we will talk...hurry up get Aryan and yourself ready...buddy let me go I need to have a shower and change hhhmm?"

Aryan got down and went to his mother. Arnav switched his Bluetooth on and went in to his room. Khushi looked on desperately wanting to tell her husband what the doctor had said.
