I totally agree with Anonymous posts about indian awards need a revolution. They need to be like the american awards where people submit their movies/roles etc. and if the jury finds then deserving then they get a nomination. Not just in america but also in some other film industries they have this kind of process.
With IIFA they have that voting system where industry people nominate people and movies. If they can do that then they can also make it in such a way so only people nominate themselves and not the jury then we won't hear people make comments like: "I have always said, don't nominate me. Awards doesn't matter to me. Nominate the ones who cares about awards etc."
About stardust not being fair. Well award shows are all not the same. Stardust is about ENCOURAGING New Talent. That's why so many people get the awards and if you notice then they always give it to those people who will never get an award in other award ceremonies like for example shahzan got best supporting actress she won't get such award in other award shows.
I am no fan of stardust but one has to say the truth which is that they from day one has said they encouraging and supporting new talent. and they never claimed to be the most credible, valued award show like Filmfare claims to be.
