TRP week 5

The ratings of Week 5 have finally arrived and they have brought in a lot of surprises with the five new LC1 markets being introduced by TAM in 2013. These new markets include Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, PHCHP and Rajasthan where MP does not include Chhattisgarh but UP includes Uttaranchal.

As per the new market position, Star Plus gets back to its numero uno spot with 281 GRP, Zee TV climbs down to the second position with 214 GRP while Colors maintains its third position with a 210 GRP.

(The rating outside the bracket is the Week 5 GRP while rating of week 4 GRP- which is inclusive of the new markets ratings- has been given in the bracket. Similarly, the second number in the bracket is the average of Week 1 to 3.

Coming to daily fiction shows Balika Vadhu stands first with 4.7 TVR, Diya Aur Baati Hum maintains its second position with 4.3 TVR while Taarak Mehta andSasural Simar Ka are perched on the third position with 4 TVR.
