SALMAN BANKS ON 'JAANE-E-MANN'

Salman Khan who is s always in news though mostly for bad ones is trying to improve his image from that of a bad guy to a good one. After the success of 'Tere Naam' Salman Khan has turned very professional and trying to concentrate on his work instead of running around his long lost or current love interests like Aish and Katrina. Salman is now banking on his forthcoming movie 'Jaane-e-Maan'. Recently, the star met with media for his forthcoming movie 'Jaane-E-Maan'. The Smashits teams chatted with the star to find more about his movies and himself.

Excerpts of his recent chat-:

You look younger and more muscular but you're in the first year of your forties so what the reason is behind it?

There is no reason. I am going to be just the way I am for another forty years and for my muscular body I have just started my training again.

Last year your film 'Tere Naam' was released and it hit the box office. This was your big comeback. What do you think of 'Jaan-e-Mann' this year?

Well last year I was stuck in court cases but my directors, parents, friends and of course my fans have faith in me and they had made my comeback a big hit. So, I think, like 'Tere Naam' Insha Allah they will love" Jaan –e-Mann' also.

What do you think of media? You don't have a good image in press why?

My press image was bad because I did not speak to them. I think media is doing an amazing job; so many scandals have been exposed by it. Sorry to say sometime they do a lot of wrong stuff as well like in the car accident case. Everybody including my driver said I was not driving but the press was on me as it makes news. However, since then, 70 to 75 per cent cases of drinking and driving have stopped.

Do you mean to say that people felt that if a star like Salman can get into trouble, nobody can escape?

Exactly. But now people are saying that because you are Salman Khan the whole thing happened to you. When it happens to a common man, nothing matters. There are about 4,000 accidents every month in which nothing happens to anybody.

How would Salman Khan describe himself?

I am a little bit of a devil and I have a lot of good stuff too. The bad stuff comes out easily, the good stuff I am keeping for later.
