I know only one Shani related to story . Does any one know why would Ganesh and Kartikeya go to Shani lok. People avoid Shani. So he says as well. There is a story that says, Mother Parvathi insisted that Shani gives blessing to Ganesh before his gajamukha roopa. Shani requests mother not to make him do so. Parvathi insists that Shani looks at his son and tells him no calamity can touch Shakti's son. Shani looks at Baby Ganesh and Ganesh looses his head.

Now what could be the reason, the brothers go look for Shani? Does any one know the story ?

This show comes up with its own creative ideas so this could be one of those stories coming from DKDM creative puran. 😉

^^ LOL.. It is not that hard to play with mythological stories. Half of them contradic themselves. However, in this scenario, I find may be there is something. Here is the Shani japa shloka

surya-putro dirgha-deho visalak?a? siva-priya?,

manda-cara? prasannatma pi?a? haratu me sani?.

Please note the words SHIVA-PRIYAH. so obviously there is a reason. It is also said that Lord SHiva is Shani's guru.

Not to make things comlex, but wha is Shani got to do with Bhavan on Kailash ? Unless this is another story they started parallelly..

I have a feeling this will be a parallel story. As of now this a mystery unless someone knows something related to this please post the story or link.
