Yash Chopra has to convince him for Darr so much that he should do that movie, as that was also rejected by many, he was doing Baazigar, Darr, Anjaam all together. He was himself scared 2 be typecast in that -ve role for which he got stardom. Only to survive, he tried all that, otherwise, why not he try to do something different like that now?

Well after the negative roles, he started doing romantic films, and got typecast.
