he turned around and and looked evrywhere but couldn't locate her...
he went to each and every corner to check...
just then something soft collided with him...
and was about to fall...but he on time held her tightly in his arms...
but he couldn't look at her face as her saree's pallu fell on her face...
he didn't know why but his heart beats went errotic...
his hand knew that touch...
his hands on their accord went towards the pallu...
he very softly held it and pulled it down to see her face...

her eyes came first in view...they were closed out of fear...
her lips were pressed tightly awaiting for the fall...
just then he uttered...GEET....her eyes snapped open...
MAAN !!!!

EVERYTHING JUST STOPPED FOR BOTH OF THEM...
EVERYTHING CAME TO HAULT...
the time has come to still...
all the commotion came to stand still...
all the people statued in their position...
there was utter silence everywhere...
the only sound that could be heard were that of two hearts...
their hearts were beating frantically...
as if it was some sort of a background music...

both were lost looking at each other...
one was happy finding his love in his arms...secure...
while other was afraid of the same...
she didnt wish to come in front of him today...
rather she wasn't yet prepared to face him...
she wasn't ready to see his question filled eyes...
she didn't want to see herself in his eyes...
yet nothing was going according to her wish...

whatever she didn't want to happen...
was happening before her...she had to face it now...
could she run again...the moment she dreaded of from
last one year was before her...
and guess what she was in his arms...
this was in her mind...
while he was busy admiring her beauty...
he was trying to make his heart believe that she was
very well here...in his arms...

he was gazing at each and every detail of her face to calm the storm inside her...
yet it had already calmed with her in his arms...
he wanted to take her with him right now...
away from everything so that he could hide her...
so that she never runs again...
but hope that was possible...
he gazed at her eyes...
it didn't reflect what his eyes did...
was she not happy meeting him after such a long time???? he wondered...
was she not happy having him back....just then the reality seeped in...

she had left him...
alone...without even telling him...
she had left...
he made her stand properly...
geet pulled her hands back from his shoulder the moment he made her stand...
she straightened her saree...
she just didn't want to face him or say had the huts to face him!!!
she looked everywhere except his face...
while he was looking at her only...
he was just trying to observe her...and understand her restlessness...

GEET...before he could speak further...
MR.Sharma came into scene...
oh MR.Khuranna you here...and i was searching for you everywhere...
oh geet...you also here....geet smiled looking at MR. Sharma...
do you guys know eachother???...but as he got no response...
ok then...geet you would be knowing THE GREAT MSK...MD OF KC...
geet nodded...
and this is GEET HANDA MD of HANDA CEMENTS...
well glad meeting you MS.HANDA....maan spoke forwarding his hand for a hand shake...
having no other option...she gave her hand...
as her hand touched his...
it was engulfed in his warmth...he held her hand tighter...
and didn't leave it...

while MR.Sharma was busy telling both of their achievements...
here geet was trying to have hand back from his hold...
while he wasn't ready to leave it...he just wanted to hold as long as he could...
Pinki would be looking for me...so if you can please excuse me...
geet spoke trying to free herself and run from that situation...
sure...with a smirk he left her hand...letting her escape...

she rushed from there...and tried locating pinki...
as she found her standing with some guests...
geet rushed to that place...
arey...where were you...
what took you so long...i was waiting for you...
but before get could speak...
chl chod...meet them...they are from xyz company...
pinki made her greet them...
geet tried to act normally and tried to control her thudding heart...

no matter how hard she tried she couldn't act normally...
her hands were all sweaty...she was constantly stammering while answering...
as her mind was somewhere else...
she could feel his burning gaze at her back...
she excused herself and took pinki to a lone corner...

pinki its getting late we must leave now...
geet stop this now...party has just begun...and you want to leave...
don't be a spoil sport...
and geet guess what...MSK is also here...
hayee...he looked so hot...
how can you think of leaving now......pinki cutely complained...
pinki listen am feeling very tired...lets just leave...

geet please...dekh i will complain to sharma uncle...
pinki...guess what??? am your boss here...
and am seriously feeling very tired...
so lets just leave.....geet was about to leave...
but pinki stopped her...
theek hai if you want to leave lets just meet MSK once...
then we will leave fine....pinki spoke
before geet could speak anything further...they heard...

TALKING ABOUT ME?????...
and her eyes looked at the figure behind pinki...
and her eyes froze...it was him!!!!
