hey guys.. i am back with the news for the day...

Newsweek interviews Dan Radcliffe

The weekly US magazine has two new articles focusing around Dan as an actor and how his life has been affected by the Potter films:

You've been playing Harry for six years now. Are you still enjoying it?
This film has been the most fun I've had, definitely, partly because of Imelda Staunton [who plays Harry's nemesis, Professor Dolores Umbridge], and partly because of David Yates, our wonderful director, who I have had absolutely the time of my life working with. He pushes me farther and more often than I ever have been before. This is not being detrimental to any of the previous directors because I wouldn't have been able to do this before, but David has caught me at just the right moment.

You can read the entire Q&A with Dan on Newsweek's website, which is noted as a "Web Exclusive." This most likely means that the interview will not be in the October 30th issue. This separate article about Dan, however, will be printed.

London Tube station closed for OOTP filming

Today, London's Westminster Underground station was temporarily closed to allow for Order of the Phoenix filming. An article by Yahoo! notes that the scene being filmed was probably where Mr. Weasley escorts Harry to the disciplinary hearing at the Ministry.

A London transport spokeswoman commented: "Planned closures are timed to cause minimum disruption to passengers and commercial requests such as this are subject to an agreed fee. There has been advanced publicity in the area to warn passengers of any potential disruption to their journey."
