Chapter 9- The History

"alia behave ? got it?" "yeah mom now you're warning me for the 10^th time'I'll be in my best behavior" said alia. "and you two try to be nice and arnav please don't try to fight with khushi my head still hurts from the last fight in the car."

"okay auntie."

-dinner-

Everyone was present at the table except for khushi and the for boys. "hari prakash!!!! Bring them here immediately" yelled rajesh. (khushi's grandfather) "ji saab' umm they are not in their rooms ' nor in the house maybe in the garden." "everything goes wrong if khushi's here. Everyone enjoy your dinner we cant wait for them. I hope our guests are hungry." Said rajesh looking irritated.

"put me down imraan !!! you bloody animal ? look at me im like a moneky!! Im never ever gonna play foot ball with you ever again . you knocked me down for like the millionth time. Look look mud all around me even in my hair. And we're late for dinner. He will kick our asses."

All five of them came laughing in to the dinning room. At once the whole place lit up. With khushi's beautiful smile. She looked like a mud ball. Actually they looked like 5 mud balls.

"5 of you sit down. Im not gonna warn you again. Khushi, I thought you would have changed after your stay in u.s, but you're still the same with your mischievous antics. Your haven't changed your clothes as well' what did ya'll do? Dig a hole in the back yard?" asked dadi trying hard to hide her smile.

They all sat down. Khushi sat between imraan and shahid. Karan and Aakash sat on the either side of imran and shahid. Its as if khushi had 4 strong guardians around her. They pamper her like she's still 8 years old. Even khushi was like an 8 year old when she's around them. Everyone saw the special bond they had for each other.

"umm I think its better if you guys just change your clothes and come to dinner" said rajesh before they start eating. "ya'll look disgusting."

"sure" they left.

"I thought their brotherly bond toward khushi would change after she came here. But its stronger than ever. Khushi is still their happiness. Arnav' you look surprised?" said dadi shooting the question towards arnav.

"umm Mrs'." "call me dadi"

"umm dadi its just that im 'I donno im so surprised' to be honest at first I thought khushi was having an affair with all 4 of them' I never even in my dreams guessed that they were khushi's brothers"

That made the whole room file up with laughter.

"well that's the specialty' after her parents died those four boys treated her as their own child and khushi became a part of their soul, they don't fight or get in to arguments because of khushi. Khushi holds the full control of the boys. Without khushi they don't even talk to each other. The happiness of the gupta family remains on the hand of our baby girl khushi. She's the heart and the soul of the family. After her parents, my son and my daughter in law died our family separated in to pieces and fled in to different countries but the existence of khushi made them come back because they saw hope in her eyes. She became the power source of the family." Rajesh explained and shot a knowing smile at arnav.

"arnav 'you said your sirname was raizada. Right?" "yes sir" "call me rajesh"

"but sir its not polite to call you by your name'" "its ok call me rajesh'"

"well I remember my father telling me stories about the raizada clan when I was small' I heard that they were all killed. So howcome you got that sirname'?" said rajesh cunningly getting in to the topic.

Arnav felt like he was trapped somewhere he cannot run away and sid gave him a look as if they're near trouble. But arnav replied him calmly.

"umm well im not sure about that the whole family was killed cuz im here." Said arnav trying to turn the question in to a joke.

"you're a witty boy' I like it' arnav I would like to spend some time talking with you' would you like to join me for a drink tonight?"

"umm sir I don't drink" "you don't have to' you talk I drink' hari prakash will show you the way to the library. Meet me there at sharp 10 o clock'" said rajesh and returned to his dinner.

arnav was breathless ' so was sid. Arnav felt like he was gonna be killed tonight but he didn't know what was in store for him.

The 5 children entered the dinning room well dressed and they started eating while giggling and talking. Khushi got warned once or twice not to talk while having food in the mouth and some other table manners but she didn't even care and she kept doing them all over again. Which even made arnav laugh at her chilidish antics. 'how can one be so childish and cute at the same time ' she's so adorable when she pouts her lips like that when someone yell at her and her mischievous grin is breath taking'. Whoa whoa' arnav what the hell are you doing? are you cheking out on your enemy'remember if you die tonight she's the sole reason for it'you're not suppose to have feelings for her like your did 15 years ago' thought arnav. 'but she's just adorable'I'll just admire her for a while without thinking other things between us for a second' thought arnav again.

-in arnav's room-

"so arnav are you going to meet him? He looks scary' I think its better if we run away.." said sid looking scared

"running away will make things worse'im gonna go talk with him' its better than running away' if we do that they'll be sure that we're scared of them. We gotta show them that we're strong."

"if anything happens give me a ringcut and I'll be there to help you."

"since when did you became the guy to help me? You're all grown up now." Said arnav giving a wink

And he left to the library led by hari prakash.

-library-

"ohh you came 'what a pleasant surprise ' I thought that you'll never show up' take a seat. Make yourself comfortable." "thank you sir" said arnav looking uncomfortable

"how about wine?" "sure" "laced with blood or not?"

"WHAT?" "it's a simple question arnav. I asked if you want it laced with blood or not' stop pretending to be something you're not arnav. We all know who you are and what you are. We know your beginning as well as the ending so be supportive. Now answer the question laced or not. You look a bit pale. You must be tired after the long ride without blood so I'll make it laced with blood."

"what do you know about me?" asked arnav trying to be cool and calm hiding his fright towards him.

"almost everything'that's why we want you to do a help to us"

"I'll do anything if im capable of doing it' but I want you to do a blood oath to me that my life as well as my brother sid's life is not gonna be in danger because of you and your family."

"of course all five of us will be ready to do a blood oath on you and your brother's name."

"five' who else know about me and sid except for you"

"all changed hunters can sense vampires that's what make us special' imraan, shahid, karan and aakash knows about you. They told me about you last month that they have seen you at a mall. And I knew it was you who can help us of course you're the last raizada left from your family clan because your death made way for their death as well as other familes including mine. My father who was your fomer best friend (100s of years ago) Aman Gupta told me everything about you and that's how I got to know about you. Now don't be scared of us' your life is not in danger from us we just need your help"

"what do you want me to do?"

Arnav came to his room and jumped to the bed digging his face in the pillow. Sid was sitting on a chair next to the bed. "what happened? Did he try anything bad?" ' arnav swirled himself around facing the roof. "what are you doing here...? I thought you were asleep' that's y I didn't bother to knock on your door." "nahh I thought I would wait for you' so what happened?"

"he knows who we are. All of them know except for khushi, alia and her mother and they wanted a help from me." "what did you say?" "what else ' I said that I will help them." "so what do they want you to do?" "before that I want you to know everything about my past. I want you to know me."

"but I know enough of you' I don't need to know more' I know that your past is bad soo I don't want to know." Said sid knowingly of his brother.

"no now it's the time you should know everything" said arnav taking a hunter's necklace out of his pocket. "whoa whoa'. Who's necklace did you steal and why?"

"no I did not steal it ' its my necklace' 100 years ago"

hey guys sorry for the late updates. but will try my best to update quickly. hope you liked the chapter + guys its kinda disapointing for the fact that i have abt 50 likes and for the 8th chapter i only have abt 30 likes. is there something wrong with my story? for the lack of 20 ? if so please tell me. this time i will only update chapter 10 only if a get a respectable amount of likes and comments. (me being bitchy 😉 )
