Arijit - Chand Chandni ke Kasam
KK said that no one in the Gurukul was as technically sound as Arijit. Isha found him good, but all the judges felt that this was not enough. Arijit's songs needed more heart and he needed to connect with the audience.
VERDICT - IN THE DANGER ZONE

Shamit: Sathia baeliya
Javed gave him top marks. He felt that Shamit was able to sing songs that many in the Gurukul would fall flat just trying. Isha liked his selection and KK felt that Shamit had proven a point.
VERDICT - VERY SAFE
Model singer
Arpita - Yara sili sili
All the judges agreed that she was just as good as she was looking. Only KK felt that she should sing with her eyes open and connect more with the audience.
VERDICT - SAFE
Dil ka sachcha
Anubhav - Tu Hai Asaman Mei
He performed very well and there were no two ways about it, but the judges felt that soul was lacking in the performance. He also needed to work in more energy.
VERDICT - IN THE DANGER ZONE

Mona - Rangeela re tere rang mein
Every one had top praise for Mona. But Javed felt that there was something missing and he could not quite put his finger on it. He feels that there is something bottled in Mona and if it is released she could soar to great heights.
VERDICT - SAFE

Qazi - Tum dil ke dhadkan ho
Isha said that she had heard about Qazi's style and now she had got a first hand experience. Javed felt that even if Qazi slipped on tune, he made up in performance. But this time, his performance had slipped. So Qazi slips back again ….
VERDICT - BACK TO THE DANGER ZONE
Good soul
Rex - Neele neele amber se
Judges love his style, his spirit and the fact that he comes across as a good guy. But Javed has always warned him that Rex enjoys the song so much that he often forgets to keep in tune. This time Rex had to pay for this slip up.
VERDICT - IN DANGER
FACULTY VERDICT - Rex is more of an all rounder than Arijit, Anubhav and Qazi and deserves to be SAVED.
