Everyone came outside the car and headed inside towards the restaurant. Jeevika was a little nervous to meet Viren's family. While everyone headed inside Jeevika took Viren's hand and held him back.
v - "What's wrong? You okay?"
j - "Yeah just a little nervous meeting everyone. They will like me right? I mean I look okay right, not too much"
v - "You look perfect and they all are going to love you. Trust me the hardest one to please in our family is Veera Vadhera and we've seen your oh so wonderful bonding with her already. Just relax"
j - "Okay, thank you"
Viren held onto Jeevika's hand and they all walked inside the restaurant. There was a private room waiting for them and no one was here yet.
virat - "They're on their way, there was some accident on the freeway"
v - "Ohh okay. Why don't I go order some drinks for us"
veera - "Bhai make sure you don't get drunk tonight, we have family coming and they would be horrified if they saw you entering the girls bathroom yet again" she said as Jeevika and her started laughing again.
Viren gave Veera the look and walked away. He was okay with her making fun of him, as long as she was happy and her mind was distracted from everything. He knew he and the whole family would have to convince her to do what he wanted somehow and this was the start. Seeing her happy made him the happiest person in the world. Viren came back to the table where the other four where sitting.
v - "So on a serious note now Veera, when do I get to meet this boyfriend of yours. Ugh it seriously hasn't hit me that you have a boyfriend. Why can't you just stay like the sweet simple girl I left in India with my family?"
veera - "Bhai I've grown up now. I'm not so small anymore"
v - "You always will be for me. So when do we get to meet him?"
veera - "Soon"
v - "How soon"
veera - "I said soon, so soon okay"
virat - "It better be soon" Virat said in a demanding brotherly voice.
v - "Oh look everyone's here"
They all got up and Viren introduced his entire extended family to Jeevika. They all had heard a lot about her and where so excited to meet her. They knew her parents as they were living together under the same roof and now they were getting to know the future Mrs. Vadhera. Everyone was having a great time. All the ladies were talking and discussing stuff regarding the wedding. Viren left his little group of men talking and grabbed Jeevika's arm taking her to the corner.
j - "Viren what are you doing. We're here with the whole family you can't just take me to the side like this"
v - "Well I just did, so what are you going to do"
Jeevika smiled and walked away, But Viren caught her wrist. He held it tight and brought her close to him.
j - "You are so shameless. Tell me what you want before anyone notices"
v - "I want a kiss, can I have one?"
j - "Definitely Not!!!!"
v - "Please jeeevs, one kiss"
j - "Are you mad Viren? Leave me or I'll call Veera"
v - "Thats the best you could do to get rid of me? Call Veera, really? Don't you remember I had to payback for what you did to me?"
j - "Payback? What rubbish are you talking about. Shit Viren your mom just looked at us and smiled. Leave me you're so emberassing. I'm trying to create a good impression on your family"
v - "Really, you and good impression. Doesn't really work. And the payback I was talking about was when you kicked me out of your bedroom. Remember when I came to help you change after you showered?"
j - "Really now Viren? You still remember that?"
v - "Obviously. I was so insulted that you kicked me out of the room. I wanted to help you so bad" he said in a naughty tone and going in to give her a kiss on her cheek.
j - "Viren ouchhh" she said crying a little
v - "What happened, are you okay?" he said as he held her hand
Jeevika smiled at him and ran away. She knew it was the best way to get away from Viren so he wouldn't kiss her in public. She went back to the table where all the ladies where sitting and gave a huge smile to Viren. Viren's face on the other hand was priceless, he was angry and happy at the same time. He couldn't believe Jeevika just pulled the "I'm hurt" saying to run away from him, but he loved her and knew he would have to give her a double payback now!!!!!

After the dinner everyone went to Viren's house. They decided to all sleep in one house as it was a Friday night and there was still a lot to discuss regarding the wedding. Everyone went to change and get comfortable. Viren and Jeevika took out blankets, and pillows for themselves and Virat, Veera, and Shlok as they all would be sleeping in the family room, just like a slumber party.
j - "Viren, don't you have more blankets in the guest bedroom? I don't want Veera to get cold, and then get a fever at night"
v - "Wow, you know this house well enough already. It's okay I can give her my blanket and you and I can share one"
j - "Again you've started Viren. Please see the time and place before you start"
v - "Hmm lets see. I have time to romance with my fianc right now as no one is around. And place hmmm well I'm standing inside my house so I don't know whats more perfect than this. Maybe our bedroom, but we have given it to our family"
j - "Just because you are a lawyer doesn't make you a genius, alright"
v - "Obviously not, Professor Vadhera"
j - "Gosh that sounds weird Viren"
v - "Well that's what everyones going to be calling you"
j - "I guess it is. But I look too hot to be called Mrs. Vadhera, don't you think?"
v - "Why should we call you Ms.?"
j - "I feel younger. Jeez I can't believe we're going to be getting married next week Viren"
v - "End of my life"
Jeevika threw a pillow aiming at Viren.
v - " I was joking babes"
j - "You better have been"
veera - "Whats up?"
v - "Nothing. Here I poured a glass of milk for you, its on the kitchen counter. Go drink it"
veera - "Eww why would you do that? I have no room, I'm so full"
v - "You didn't eat dinner properly"
veera - "Yes I did"
v - "Eating desserts is not dinner Veera, go drink it NOW"
veera - "Sheesh! okay. You know if you had said it nicely I would have listened" she smirked
v - "Nicely? and that too with you? hahahaha good one"
veera - "Now I'm not having it. Do whatever you want"
v - "You will have it. Gooo and by the way did you take your medicines this afternoon?"
Veera just thought to herself how busted she would be now. She couldn't lie to him and if she did she would get in trouble for not being responsible and for lying.
veera - "Maybe"
v - "Veera Vadhera, don't tell me you forgot to take your medicines today. Veera how are you so careless? You have chemo sessions, and your body is being drained by everything. Nor do you eat properly or take your medicines on time. I'm really disappointed in you Veera"
vanshika - "What happened Viren?"
v - "Veera didn't take her medicines today and she won't drink the milk I kept out for her"
veera - "Ma why is he so bossy"
vanshika - "Because he loves you a lot. Now listen to him"
veera - "FINE!"
Veera went to get her medicines and then came back and finished her milk. In the meantime Viren got out some food from the fridge and warmed it up.
v - "Eat this"
veera - "Bhai I just had a glass of milk"
v - "Yeah, but you didn't even take your medicines today afternoon. Just eat this and stop arguing"
veera - "But I'm not hungry. Can I eat later please"
v - "FINE!"
Everyone soon came down and were getting settled on the sofas while the "younger people" sat on the ground. Everyone was having fun spending time with each other. Around 11 all the adults decided to go to sleep in their respective rooms.
veera - "Let's all watch a movie"
virat - "Sounds fun, we can sleep in tomorrow"
jeevika - "Which movie?"
shlok - "Let's watch the National History Channel"
everyone at the same time - "NOOO!!!!"
shlok - "Okay Okay"
virat - "Scary Movie 4"
v - "Are you crazy, the girls will start freaking out"
j - "Will not"
v - "Will too"
j - "Stop underestimating us"
v - "It's okay baby, scary movies are not meant for you and Veera"
veera - "Excuse me? What did you just say?"
v - "Exactly what you heard"
veera - "Well for your kind information Shlok and I both went to watch Scary Movie 3 in India. Did I get scared Shlok? Tell these idiots here"
shlok - "Not really, but you did hold Armaan's hand twice"
viren and virat - "Armaaan"
veera - "I swear to god shlok I'm gonna kill you"
virat - "So you watched this with your boyfriend, huh?"
veera - "Any problem?"
virat - "No, why would I have a problem" he said giggling with Viren.
j - "You two are jerks. Forget it Veera. You sit next to me. Now put the movie on"
Virat went to put the movie on while Viren went to the kitchen to make a sandwiches for everyone. He first gave it to Veera who again refused to eat it, but then eventually gave in. Then he went to get Jeevika's medicines and made her take those. They all finally settled down to watch their movie. Viren sat in the center with Veera on one side and Jeevika on the other. Virat and Shlok were sitting on the sofa enjoying their popcorn.
veera - "Shlok stop hogging all the popcorn, give me some"
v - "Shlok don't give her any until she finishes her food"
veera - "Bhai you're so annoying"
They continued watching the movie and everyone was enjoying it, until the climax!!! At one point, a dead man bleeding all over popped out from the corner to a sudden surprise. Both Veera and Jeevika clutched onto each of Viren's hand. Jeevika held his right, while Veera his left. They both literally got heart attacks and screamed on top of their lungs. Thank god no one woke up.
v - "SHHH, its just a movie. Calm down both of you"
Jeevika hid her face behind Viren's shoulder while Veera went under the blanket peeking through. Viren couldn't help but laugh at kissed Jeevika on her hair. After another half an hour the movie finished.
v - "I knew you two would get scared"
j - "Fine we got a little scared, but at least we didn't bite you or anything. Stop making a big issue"
v - "Okay babes" he said giving her another kiss.
v - "Virat Shlok get up and open the sofa. Let the girls sleep on the sofa bed, we can sleep on the ground"
j - "Viren it's fine I can sleep on the bottom"
v - "No I don't want you getting hurt. Your side is still really sore"
Jeevika and Veera got on top of the bed while the boys settled down on the ground. Viren slept down right below Jeevika so he could talk with her secretly. Well that was the plan until Jeevika doze off to sleep in 10 minutes. He just sat up gave her a kiss on the cheek, covered both his loves with another blanket, and went to sleep himself!
