Hi everyone!
Most of you know me for my FF on MG - 'A Twist of Fate' ( https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/67531080 ).
Well here I am with another story, a SS, consisting of a few parts. Well this story isn't dark as such but does have quiet a few shades of grey here and there. This is my very first attempt at writing something like this, so I really hope and pray that you all will like it.

Prologue
"I bet I am the happiest guy on the planet today!", Maan thought to himself with a smile while making his way to KC. "I am going to propose to the love of my life." He could see her beautiful face and could already imagine how happy she would be when he would ask her to marry him and become his forever.
"We have reached the office sir."
The driver's voice brought him out of his reverie. He got out of his car and got into the lift with his bodyguards. Maan took out the small, red velvet box which had the ring he was going to give her, when he would propose. "Gosh! I can't wait to see her.", he thought to himself while smiling like an excited little school boy.
"Finally!", he thought when the lift reached his floor. He got out of the lift and made his way into the office. He nodded his head to his staff's greetings and quickly went into Geet's cabin.
"Kahan chali gayi?", he wondered when he saw her empty cabin. He knew that she would always come on time and would never be late as it was already 10:00 am. He came out of her cabin looking a little disappointed. Adi who had seen Maan going into her cabin came upto him. "Maan sir, woh'Geet cafeteria mein hai, Pinky ke saath.", he said. Immediately Maan's face lit up. "Thanks Adi!", he said with a smile and went towards the cafeteria.
He was so happy to see her. He was about to call out to her when he stopped mid-way when he heard Pinky's and Geet's conversation.
"Geet, Maan sir and you have been seeing each other for the past six months and you both seem to be very happy with each other. When do you plan to take your relationship to the next level?", Pink asked her.
"Matlab?", Geet asked while sipping her tea.
"Matlab ki tum dono shaadi kab karoge?", Pinky asked while taking a bite of her burger.
Maan could feel himself turning pink and blushing when he heard Pinky asking Geet that question but what he heard next from Geet's mouth knocked the breath out of him.
"I am not going to marry to him.", Geet told Pinky with a blank expression on her face.
"What!?", Pinky asked, aghast.
"You heard me Pinky. I won't get married to him.", Geet said determinedly.
Maan, for the first time in his life, could feel a thin line of tears forming in his eyes. He hadn't even cried when his parents passed away in a car accident twelve years ago but now, he just didn't know how to handle this blow.
"What are you saying?", Pinky asked. "Are playing around with his feelings?", she asked her angrily.
"Main'.woh'", Geet didn't know what to say.
"Playing around with my feelings!", Maan thought to himself as his sadness was washed over by a wave of anger. He stormed out of his office and angrily drove his car making his way back to his mansion.
"Kyun Geet? Kyun?", he asked while shoving and breaking everything in his room.
"Why did you play with my feelings?", Maan screamed out.
He looked at the mirror and couldn't bear to see his miserable plight. He flung a vase at his mirror angrily, shattering it into a million pieces.
"How could you do this to me?", he asked.
He crushed the glass under his shoes. "You thought that you could play with my feelings and get away with it?", he screamed. "I'll make you pay for doing this to me. I'll show you what happens when you play with Maan Singh Khurana's feelings!", he said determinedly, his eyes ablaze with fury.
