PART 17

Just then she look in front and saw the road was empty.. She lend her face a bit and tried to search for handkerchief with her left hand.. Her hand couldn't reach the handkerchief.. She lend her face down even more and was shocked by the sudden scream of Aryan and Arnav from the phone..

Mammaaa…. Khushiii..

She lifted her face and saw a truck on their way.. Her eye widen.. Her breath stop.. She didn't know how to react in a sudden incident.. But she was back in sense when she heard Arnav shout on the phone

Arnav: "Press the brake paddle.." he shouts.. She press the paddle and turn the steering to left and its hit a tree.. "Khushi.." his eye widen when he saw her car hit the tree.. he brake his car in hurry..

Aryan: "Papa.." he shouts in cried

Arnav: "Aryan" He whisper.. His eye widen when he heard his son calling for his mamma… while crying loudly which is clearly heard through his phone..

Aryan: "Mamma.. wake up.." he cried out.. "Papa..Papa.." he call for him while looking back.. Arnav throw his phone on the seat and run towards the car.. His heartbeat was raising and his brain was making a weird conclusion which he can't accept.. Nothing can happen to her.. I won't let anything happen to her.. But Aryan was calling her and she didn't respond.. What if she.. His heart scream in NO.. She can't leave me.. His trance was broke by Aryan screaming for him.. "Papa…pa..pa" while sobbing.. Arnav rashly open the door and saw Khushi's figure covering Aryan.. She was trying to protect him so he won't get injured by the sudden accident and the broken mirror's piece won't hit her son..

Aryan's face was hidden in her protecting figure.. Arnav was only able see his half face and his eye was showing he was scared.. Once Aryan saw his papa.. He feels relief because their savior is here..

Aryan: "Papa.. Mamma.." He speak in a cried voice..

Arnav: "Aryan nothing is going to happen to your Mamma.." He said while he enter his half body in the car and tried to make her lied on her driving seat.. Her half body was on Aryan while her legs was on the driving seat.. Once he make her seat properly.. He can clearly see a scratch on her forehead and its bleeding.. His feel anxious when he saw her in this condition… he kneel and touch her cheek softly and tried to wake her up.. "Khushi…. Khushi.. Open your eye.. Khus.."

Aryan(Interrupt): "Papa.. why mamma is not opening her eye.. Mamma wake up.." he patted her cheek while tear was flowing through his swollen eye.. Arnav's eye moist while he saw his son in this condition..

Arnav: "Aryan nothing is going to happen to her.. I won't let anything happen to your mamma.." He extend his hand and took him out of the car.. He gives him a promising hug and was making him feel safe in his tight hug.. Aryan grab his father's neck and put his head on his hard shoulder.. Arnav kneel in front of Khushi and Aryan was standing beside his father's while his hand was circling his papa's neck.. He didn't try to broke his son's side hug even its making difficult for him to kneel in this state..

Aryan: "Papa..what if mamma leave me…?" He spoke once he leave Arnav's neck and was looking at him in teary eye.. His heartbeat skip once he heard Aryan utilizing those words..

Arnav(cupped his face): "No.. You mamma will never leave you.. I wont let her leave you.. Not for a second.." He wiped his tear with his thumb and release his cheek.. He look back at Khushi and patted her cheek again.. He was shocked when her head felt on the other side and his eye widen when he saw blood flowing through her neck.. He raked his hand slowly behind her head through her hair.. His eye open wider then before when he saw blood on his finger tips.. He couldn't react on this sudden incident.. He was looking on her pale face.. his trance was broke by a soft touch on his shoulder..

Aryan: "Papa.. What happen..?" he saw worries on his papa's face..

Arnav: "Nothing.." only this he could tell him.. He doesn't want to make him feel sacred more.. "Aryan.. We should take her to Hospital.." He said once he saw him relax and he bend his body and carry her in his arm and took her to his SUV.. Aryan was following his papa's step while his hand was holding his shirt from side.. Arnav open the passenger door beside the driver seat and lay her pale figure on the seat.. He make her wear the seatbelt and closed the door.. He moves to Aryan who was holding his shirt from back.. He carried him and make him seat at the backseat.. The moves to the driver seat and drove his car to the nearest hospital..

Arnav was moving restless in front of the reception desk.. While Aryan was on his lap.. He was resting his head on his shoulder and arm circle on his papa's neck.. He always feel safe when he hug his papa this way.. The doctor come to Arnav and pass him some document where his signature is needed..

Arnav: "What is this..?" in confused look

Doctor: "We need your signature ASR.. We need to take her to the operation theater.." Arnav's eye widen once he heard operation word from the doctor..

Aryan: "Operation?? For what??" He asked worriedly..

Doctor: "ASR it is a head injury.. And we need a signature by the family before we can proceed the operation.."

Arnav: "Is she in a serious condition??" he frown his eye brow

Doctor: "We can't answer now.. It's all depends on the stage of her injury.. There is a glass pieces prick on the surface of her head and we are just worried if it had prick on her medulla oblongata and she might loss her memory or went to coma may be she can die due to the destroy of the organ.."

Arnav: "No.." he shouts and grab the doctors collar.. "You have to save her.. I will spent all my money.. You just save her for my son.." he don't want Aryan to loss a motherly love like him.. At least not in this age.. He is just a kid and he can't take sudden impact at this age..

Doctor: "We will tried to save her ASR but for now we need your signature.. It's a head injury the hospital board can't take a risk when the most important part of the body are involve" He sign the paper's immediately and sat on the bench near the operation theater.. Aryan was sitting on his lap and his face was buried in his papa's neck.. Arnav was lost in his own thought.. He lean his head on the wall and closed his eye.. There were few things running in his brain currently.. What if I lost her..? he couldn't bear if that's really happen.. How he will live if one part of his heart is missing.. No.. No one can take her from me.. No one.. Not even God.. I will bring her back.. I will fight with the world and I will bring her back in safe.. She can't leave me and Aryan.. I will.. His trance was break my Aryan's soft voice..

Aryan: "Papa.." He open his eye and look at him..

Arnav: "yes Aryan.. You need something..?" Aryan was looking at his papa's face.. He can clearly see his worries..

Aryan: "Papa.. I want Mamma.." alone tear roll from his eye.. Arnav cupped his face and wipe his tear..

Arnav: "Aryan.." their talk was been interrupt by the operation theater doors open.. Arnav saw the doctor coming out of the theater.. He carry Aryan on his lap and walk to the doctor..

Doctor: "ASR.. I.. We.." He stop his words in between..

Arnav: "What happen..??" He shouts when he saw the doctor was taking a lot of time in speaking up..

Doctor: "The operation is successful we manage to take out the glass pieces from her head.. She is in a safe condition now.." he speak in one go.. He was gulping for each second when he utter those words.. His anger is intolerable and his one shouts can make a person shiver..

Arnav: "Can we meet her..?" he asked in relief.. He was happy.. once he heard she is fine and that's the only words he wanted to listen for pass two hours..

Doctor: "You can meet her once she gain conscious.." the doctor leave both father and son at the corridor.. Aryan look at his papa.. who was smiling towards him..

Arnav: "Aryan.. your mamma is fine now… You don't worried we will meet her soon" He kiss his forehead.. due to the accident Aryan's emotion have been disturb.. The only question he asked is regarding his mamma's condition..Arnav just wanted him to relax and he knows once he told him about Khushi he will smile and for that one smile he can do anything.. Its Khushi's smile which is been seen on his son's face..

Aryan: "Really.. Papa.. Can I meet mamma..?" he asked in excited..

Arnav: "We will meet her once they allowed us.. She is still under observation.. But we will see her through that mirror.." He walk to the pointed mirror and stood in front of it and Aryan was been carried on his lap.. They saw her sleeping on the bed and there is a water bag hang on a wood hanger and a small needle was inject on her left hand so the water can flow in her body.. There is a bandage on her head and her face look pale..

Aryan: "Papa.. Why mamma is sleeping?"

Arnav: "She have been inject with medicine.. You don't worried nothing is going to happen to her.." he tried to vanish his worries..

Aryan: "Papa.. call my massi.." Arnav give him a confused look..

Arnav: "Payal..?" she is the only massi Aryan has and that means she know about Aryan..? She didn't talk to him either look at him since he comes back from London.. She always keep a distance between them and she didn't ask anything regarding Khushi nor ask him why he didn't turn up on altar.. She hate him and the family members didn't question anything about it.. He don't want to destroy Akash's life and most importantly she didn't share any blood relation with that lady.. She is the second wife Shashi Gupta..

Aryan: "No.. Papa.. my massi.. Maya.. Maya Kumar.." He clear his father's doubt..

Arnav: "Maya Kumar??.." he still didn't recognize this name and he doesn't know Khushi has a sister other than Payal..

Aryan: "Maya is my massi.. She is Sanjeev's uncle sister.." His eye widen when he heard SK's name from his son's mouth

Arnav: "You mean Sanjeev.. Sanjeev Kumar.." He nodded a yes.. His eyebrow frown.. What relation she and Sanjeev share and Maya?.. But how she meet them and she was in Paris for all this years and how she went to Paris alone.. A lot question runs in his brain..

Aryan: "Papa.. call my massi.." He breaks his trance.. Arnav took out his phone and dial Maya's number as been told by Aryan.. After two rings the call been answer..

Maya: "Hello.."

Arnav: "Maya.. Its.."

Aryan(Interrupt): "Papa.. let me speak with massi.." Maya's eye widen when she heard Aryan call that person papa.. Did he really found his papa..? and its mean Aryan was found by ASR.. Arnav gives the phone to Aryan.. He was looking impatience.. "Massi.." he call out with loud voice..

Maya: "Aryan.. Where are you..? With whom are you..?" she start to move restless

Aryan: "Massi.. I'm with my Papa.." Maya was shocked..

Maya: "What..? Your Papa..?" she asked in disbelief

Aryan: "Yes massi.. I'm with my papa.. Arnav Singh Raizada.." Arnav look at his son and a smile of proud visible on his face.. My son his heart whisper..

Maya: "Aryan where is your mamma..?" She asked in hurry

Aryan: "Mamma.. meet with accident and now sleeping…"

Maya: "What??" Today is the day of shocked for her and her hand start to shiver..

Arnav: "Aryan.. Let me talk with your massi.." Aryan pass the phone to him and he answer it.. "Hello.. Maya.."

Maya: "ASR is that you..?"

Arnav: "Yes.. its me.."

Maya: "What happen to Khushi..?" she asked worriedly

Arnav: "She just undergo a operation and now she is under observation.."

Maya: "What?? Operation..!!" she shouts in shocked

Arnav: "The operation is success Maya.." He tried to make her calm..

Maya: "ASR.. I'm on my way.." She cut the call once she has been told about the hospital's address.. She rush out from Khushi's apartment and drove to the hospital.. Her heartbeat raise for each second.. She feels scared what if the doctor gives her a wrong medicine and what if the medicine gives a bad effect on her health.. She is still undergoing a medical care due to her past.. That ONE day have destroy her life.. She was on a verge to loss her life and if she been given a wrong medicine this time she might die and they will be no changes to save her again..
