Yup, me too wondering the same thing. Maybe Raziya is planning for Ayaan and Humaira to get married immediately after the engagement.

I would assume its a blooper unless Raziya is planning on throwing a curve ball at the whole family and announcing a nikaah ceremony right after (which i doubt). And btw in muslims, we don't need the maulvi to "set the wedding date" as someone just suggested. They are solely there either to do the nikaah or just as a guest. So in this case I think it's safe to say its a blooper! And I say it's a blooper because of the amount of attention that was given to his presence, unless they show him reciting some verses of the Quran.
