^^ Interesting read... but IMO we are also no saints!! In bollywood terms

1. Every black guy is from Africa and has braids

2. Every white girl is an easy pick

3. Every white man is a racist

4. Eevry gay man has to wear bright flowery shirt and has to have weird hand gesters!!

but the saddest thing is how BW stereotypes the fellow indians whether Tamilians, Punjabi's, Mallus...

^^i dunt think she minds the spoof or sterotyping as much as the fact tht its not "right" in terms of reference...

like how many songs do we actually have tht look or sound like tht? 😆

maybe some deler mehndi punjabi videos look like tht but other bollywood songs dunt..usually "bollywood" numbers are set in some kinda big SLB/Kjo set...and "bollywood clothing" is more abt ghahgras, sarees, bindis, jwels etc rather than genie pants and arabian looking stuff tht we hardly see in a typical bolly song...and our steps are more abt thumkas, pelvic thrusts etc than up down hand movements...

i think tht was her only complaint...i think she means "if u wanna stereotype it, do it right..." 😆

its kinda like someone trying to parody or stereotype south indian numbers by wearing patiala salwars and pathan suits instead of a lungi and a pavadai...
