Urvashi Dholakia to float a company for producing serials
Urvashi Dholakia,She is famous for her chunky jewellery, elaborate hair do's and arched brows. She is famous for experimenting with various looks. Television's first ever glamorous vamp, Komolika who dominates the small screen owing to her stellar performance, is gearing up for her new role.
This time she will be stationed behind the camera. The actress has teamed up with her firang friend, Sonal Kapoor to launch their production company. "This is just the first step," smiles Urvashi. "Our company is going to make television serials. And I'm hoping that we'll be successful in establishing our company in the market."
So, Dholakia will be the first successful actress to turn a producer. What kind of shows do they intend to make? Will it be the regular saas-bahu soaps? "Not really. We don't want to stick to just one track. There is going to be a variety and I can assure you of that."
Urvashi, who'd like to believe that she is a smart business woman says that she isn't the sole in the company. "There are financiers who've put in their money. Are you mad? You think an actress makes that kind of money to launch her own production house," she winks!
