Chapter 8- meeting the guptas

One whole month has passed since Khushi vs Arnav game has begun. Almost the whole college knew about their bickering and bothered not to join because it made their fights go worse. Even zoey kept her hands off of it. Alia and Sid tried their best to make things calm down between the duo but they were asked to choose Sides every time, which will lead to problems between Alia and Sid, so even they kept away from their arguments.

"Mom I'm home'" said Alia and Sid is here with me. "He'll stay here for a while if you don't mind"

"Sure honey'it's okay'I'm always happy to have Siddharth beta here. Where's Khushi?"

"Ohhh she and Arnav got detention for the fourth time for the week for their bickering in the middle of the class' Mr. Mathews gave detention for calling each other names in the middle of the history class"

"Uffooo these two really can't get along can they? We must do something about it" said Alia's mother

"Auntie I prefer it's the best if we do not cuz their fights cannot be solved' and it's the last day of the semester and from tomorrow onwards it's gonna be the summer vacation and they're the only people to get grounded today."

"That's bad' umm I have an idea' why don't you and your brother Arnav join us for a trip. We're leaving the town for a couple of weeks for Khushi's brother's engagement. You can join as and of course both of them will have to behave when they're around elders. Khushi will behave for sure"

"Umm Khushi's brother means a Gupta?" asked Sid curiously

"Yeah ...another gupta' my brother's son' well the engagement was suppose to be held in India but last minute changes and they wanted to surprise Khushi' soo it'll be held in usa."

"Ohh that would be lovely' isn't it Sid ' c'mon join us will you?"

"Sure I don't see anything bad in that ' but auntie what will Khushi's other relations be like? They'll think bad of us."

"Of course not!!! Don't be silly after all what will you both do for the vacation' join us and it'll be like a family gathering."

"Sure I'll talk with Arnav about it 'and Alia let's make a plan to make things better between the duo"

"Good idea ' let's call it mission Arshi"

-Detention-

"You two I want you two to answer this question paper."

"Sir I need a paper" "I said you two will answer this paper' which means a pair work'"

"But sir I will do a pair work with anyone but with him" "me too" said Arnav.

"no I want you two to do it together ' I will give you thirty minutes to do it ' and remember you won't be able to go home until you finish this' your time starts now"

And Mr. Mathews left the room leaving this two alone with the paper.

"You know what Arnav this is bull poopie!!" "Umm yeah I got to agree with you with that' umm is bull poopie a real word?" "Umm I made that one up' it's much polite than bull shit'" it really made Arnav laugh. "either way it's bullshit 'C'mon lets get this thing over with" "Arnav your laugh is very nice ' I should say" "ohh why thank you. I know I'm sexy you don't have to say that." "I did not say that!!" "Yes you did' that day when we came to dinner at your place'" "Ohh it was a mistake.." "Ohh-puhleaseee'" "Arnav don't start it again'I don't wanna stay here all day. After all I'm gonna throw a private party for not seeing you for like 2 and a half months" said Khushi but deep inside she felt sad for losing her partner in crime.

"Ohh yeah 'even I'll throw a party for that!!" said Arnav ' he felt like thousand wooden stakes were stabbed to his heart.
"Umm mind if I ask you something?" "Yeah sure" "do you have a boyfriend?" "Umm why you ask?" "Just curious." "Then you don't need to know." Said Khushi victoriously.

And they finally finished the paper together. "Well I'm happy that we did at least something together without fighting." 😉 Said Khushi while breaking the silence. "Yeah me too. See you after your summer vacation. Happy holidays" "happy holidays to you too Arnav" said Khushi and they left for their homes feeling uncomfortable.

"Hey Arnav 'how's your detention?" "It went well" "are you feeling ok? Cuz you seem to be tired?"

"Nahh it's nothing' you seem happy?" "Yeah Alia's mother invited us to spend 1 week with them"

Next morning everything was packed and ready to go and Alia's mother was waiting outside. "Auntie why are you waiting outside. Goshh we're getting late. Let's go nah" said Khushi. "uffo Khushi wait a lil bit longer the boys will be here any minute" "what boys?" "Arnav and Sid. I thought they could join us'isn't that lovely'Khushi don't say a word I talked with your grandparents and they are perfectly alright with having two guests for the occasion"

And they arrived. Khushi had her face with a rude look until she got the light bulb fixed on her head.

"Come come hop on guys ' u're late..." said a chirpy Khushi.

"Mom you drive and I'll sit next to you. Khushi you sit on the back seat with the boys" Said Alia while signaling Sid that their "mission arshi" is on.

"What why do I get to sit in the back. Grrr fine ill sit in the back but Sid u'll sit in the middle."

"But Khushi '.long rides make me feel sick. so I need a window'" "No you don't feel sick with long rides" Arnav snapped at him "you'll sit in the middle"

"But" "no buts darling sit in the middle even your father like bhai told you to do that" said Khushi .

And the journey began.

It was a long ride and the car was silent. Nobody dared to speak a word and it was Sid who broke the silence.

"Pringles anyone?" "I do" both Arnav and Khushi replied.

"Heyyy don't you have no manners? Haven't you heard the thing 'ladies first'?"

"Ohhh where where? Where's the lady over here? Sid do you see a lady around here except for your gf and her mother. NO"

"Huh what did u just call me you ass. Punk, pig head."

"What did you call me? You bitch monkey and rabbit nose"

"Rabbit what kind of an animal is that?"

"Ohh yeah I forgot rabbit is an innocent animal unlike you bugghead"

"Look here Mr. I don't have a bug head."

Anddd the fight continued until they reached their destination.

It was a huge mansion with a huge garden. It was situated on top of a cliff near the sea. They got off and everyone was mesmerized by the fantastic view. And they were greeted by an Indian man called hari prakash.

"hari prakassshhh'.. I missed you so much hp!!!" said Khushi'

"I missed you too little miss'come right this way they're waiting for you" said hp

"Wow I would never treat a servant with so much delight" said Arnav. "That's our Khushi' she loves everyone. The word hatred is very rare on her. Even if she says that she hates this that and all the stuff but if something happens even to her worst enemy she would cry her heart out." Said auntie.

Then they were taken to the living room by hp.

Khushi was the last to come as she was too busy talking with hp. And Arnav's eyes shot up when he saw those four guys right in front of his eyes and khushi ran in to their arms hugging each and every one of them. Then he saw two elderly people suppose to be Khushi's grandmother and her grandfather.

"God does the whole family approve her relationship with these four guys. Must be if she's insane then they must be too." thought Arnav.

Alia and Khushi went to them and took their blessing. Even Alia's mother went to them and took their blessing so Arnav and Sid did the same.

"Guys I want ya'll to meet Alia's friend Siddharth malhotra and Arnav Singh Raizada." Said Khushi while winking at the guys

"and you 2 meet my cousin brothers' more like my own brothers this is imraan gupta, shahid, karan and aakash gupta'and this is my beloved dadi and my beloved granpa" introduced Khushi. Dadi gave suspicious looks at arnav. but khushi's talks make her look away.

"Dadi where's buaji'.?" "hai re nandakishoreee'. Areee sanka devi!!! Im right here ' I thought you'll look for me." And the duo shared a long hug.

"Ohh guys this is my buaji'she took care of me after mom and dad died' after all I have 4 dads and 1 mother. (buaji and her brothers) ohh um sooo happy to see you guys"

"it's nice to see all of you ' you must be tired after the long ride here. Hari prakash will show you your rooms. Take some rest and we'll see you at dinner." Said dadi giving Side glances at Arnav and Sid.

"alia behave ? got it?" "yeah mom now you're warning me for the 10^th time'I'll be in my best behavior" said alia. "and you two try to be nice and arnav please don't try to fight with khushi my head still hurts from the last fight in the car."

"okay auntie."

Precap-"well I remember my father telling me stories about the raizada clan when I was small' I heard that they were all killed. So howcome you got that sirname'?" said rajesh cunningly getting in to the topic.

Arnav felt like he was trapped somewhere he cannot run away and sid gave him a look as if they're near trouble. But arnav replied him calmly.

"umm well im not sure about that the whole family was killed cuz im here." Said arnav trying to turn the question in to a joke.

"you're a witty boy' I like it' arnav I would like to spend some time talking with you' would you like to join me for a drink tonight?"

"will this invitation be a trap for the boys?"

hey guys, sorry for the late update. its just that school started and its a new grade, new teachers, new books etc... everything's new and kinda trying to fit my old life back with the new grade.

sooo dont mind me being late. 😳 i'll update the story twice a week... i promise but please dont expect me to give daily updates 😃😃...
