Spending nights with Mr. Raizada
~Sometime, just a friendly hug from a stranger, relief you from all your pains~
Chapter 2 :
"My husband slapped me.", she said in a low voice.
Arnav was shocked to hear this. How can someone beat such a beautiful lady. Why only beautiful...she is newly married. How can her husband even think of that?
She continued ," Because, I told him that I am going to go for work from tomorrow."
"But, that why does he...", Arnav stopped it middle. He thought he should poke nose in her personal life...So, he kept quite.
"I know, you are confused that why would anyone beat me because I want to be independent.", Khushi said...while looking at him.
Arnav hesitantly nodded in yes.
"Well, Mr. Raizada! I was forced to marry him. Due to some reason, my family went against me. For them, what I did was a big sin...so, they got me married to him. And, he...the greedy man, for my dad's money, he agreed to marry me!😡", Khushi said in disgust.
Arnav wanted to know the reason, why her family went against her...But, he kept quite.
"Erm...don't mind, your husband is? ", Arnav asked.
"Shayam Manohar Jha.😡 My family thought he is one of the best husband I can ever get. This is what you call a "Good Husband", Khushi said, while pointing towards the slapped face. Tears of anger again started flowing out of eyes.
Arnav didn't know what he should do to pacify this woman. He somehow realised that he was not the only one with problem. There are some more people who are strangled a bigger problem than him. He did not had any idea, what she liked or how to lift up her mood. She was sobbing continuously & Arnav could not see anyone crying...So, he started of thinking of some way. Suddenly, he hit upon an idea.
"Mrs. Jha..."
"Hey! Don't call me THAT😡 I just hate to keep his surname even. Call me either Khushi or Ms. Gupta!", Khushi rebuked.
Arnav found it weird to call a lady, whom he met just an hour ago, with her name. So, he chose Ms. Gupta and continued his idea...
"Sorry! I mean Ms. Gupta. Erm...If you don't mind, I know a place which can make you feel better! ", Arnav said while smirking.
"YOU!!😡 How dare you think like that."
Arnav was shocked to hear that. What wrong did he say?😕
She continued," I hugged you from behind & walking with you doesn't mean that you take me granted & take me for one night stand ", Khushi misunderstood him.
Before she could continue further he cut her in between and said ", No no Ms. Gupta! You are getting me all wrong! I didn't..."
Khushi interrupted between and said ", Listen Mister! I know I am going through a bad phase that doesn't mean that I am not using my brains...I ", Before she could continue further...Arnav, with no option left, covered her mouth with his palms.
"Now listen to me miss Gupta! I am not taking you for one night stand! I am also married! Why would I do that? I was just suggesting that there is beach nearby, we could go there...because whenever I am sad, I go there & and everything becomes fine! ", He said in one breathe.
"mmm...", Khushi tried to speak...but couldn't 'coz of his hands.
After breathing, he calmly asked ,"So, are you coming?"
"mmm..."
"Say?", he asked again. Khushi rolled her eyes and then signed him through her eyes about the position of his hand. Embarrassed, he pulled his hands off from her rosy lips.
She breathed a sigh of relief. Then, after thinking for sometime, she said...
"If this is the only way to stay away from that hell then, okay! But remember Mr. Raizada, I know martial arts!", Khushi said, while raising her hands, making a karate pose.
"Oh..Ka..y", Arnav said & started walking with her.
They reached an isolated beach. There, Arnav made his way towards the sea. He asked her...
"You are not from this place, as far as I know. So, did your place had beach.
Khushi nodded.
"Ah! That's why you don't the pleasure of being in between of these melodic water waves! ", He said this, pleasure brimming out of him. Arnav reached the shore, lifted his trousers from bottom, opened his socks & shoes...and stood there. Water waves, as it hit the shore, washed Arnav's feet with it. He was looking at the endless dark beauty of the sea.
He then looked back at Khushi, who was still standing at a distance, holding his coat much more closer to her body. He extended his hands & said...
"Come"
Khushi, without thinking once, clasped the extended hands, as if she knew him for ages...as if she trusted him more than anyone. She removed her sandals & moved towards him.
He held her hands tight and said,
"Don't be scared. Just trust me."
He turned her towards the endless limit of sea. He then asked her close her eyes. She obediently did that.
He then whispered,
"Breathe. Breathe the beauty Miss Gupta. Close your eyes and feel the presence of the person you love most! Feel the warmth of the love that these waves want to share with you"
Khushi did what Arnav said. She closed her eyes & remembered very special part of her life. Leaving Arnav's hand, he lifted her hands, as if embracing the nature & smiled like never. The pleasure was truly undefinable.
After sometime, she opened her eyes...still smiling. She then, turned towards Arnav, came closer to him & unconsciously kissed his cheek. It was a surprise for Arnav. He never thought that she would do that. He was taken a back. Should he push her? No! She was in distress & his push may hurt her. But, he is cheating his wife...what if...
As these thoughts were going in his mind...Khushi completed her soft kiss, and then wrapped her hands around him. She rested her head on his chest and said..
"Thank you Mr. Raizada! Even though, you never knew me...even though I shouted on you, misunderstood you..even though for a moment you may have felt that you are cheating your wife, you still bought me here & shared a part of your happiness!", She thanked him. A smile crept through his lips. His hands made its way to her back and he hugged her back softly.
'She was not the same Khushi I met some time ago. She is not that arrogant, frustrated lady, whom he had met in garden. She was not the "The Man Hating" lady...all she was just now, a lady, a beautiful woman..who has been deprived of the happiness that God has made for all. ', Arnav thought.
They broke their friendly hug and started walking along the shore, unconsciously, entangling their hands with each other.
